We’re nothing now… we’re just two letters… Hope you understand I’m not prepared to call you just a friend…. There’s a reason this is CD #1 in the car CD changer. Nothing hits harder than Vacancy! ❤️❤️
I was diehard bayside from sirens to self tittle. And its been awhile since i have heard what makes bayside.....bayside....this song is what we want! Heartbreak.....soul like it used to be
I love the lead guitar on these albums... this one seems to be more focused on song-writing and catchiness. Nothing wrong with that at all. Bayside is very talented and can't wait to see them in Cleveland!
This album seriously is up there with self titled i cant believe how amazing they are again. i felt a little disappointed with killing time. but this, this is why i fell in love with them
Cameron Rogers really? Killing time I liked a few songs, cult it too me some time for me to really feel and get into the lyrics, then I broke up with my fiancé, I totally got cult and relate to vacancy now
Killing Time was solid from beginning to end. Hearing their song "Already Gone" reminded me of the first time I ever heard Devotion and Desire making me a Bayside fan for life. Vacancy is solid but Killing Time is their best imo.
I know I know I should be better, think I am to some degree I can't explain why it gets harder the more people count on me Maybe it's all in my head and nothin's changed And I'm still in the basement with no tattoos and mortgage payments Well I'm not so good with tenses, I'm tensin up thinkin about What I'm supposed to call you now Well it takes a lot to shake me and my body breaks to figure out How to leave the past behind when it's around all of the time And I don't know what I should call you now I don't know what I should call you now I don't believe that anyone runs from their past so easily Unless they run towards someone else And I've seen you lacin' up for years I'd guess your future looks great well good for you You're still my inspiration, we're less in tune and more abrasive And I'm not so good with tenses I'm tensin up thinkin about what I'm supposed to call you now And it takes a lot to shake me, my body breaks to figure out How to leave the past behind when it's around all of the time And I don't know what I should call you now I don't know what I should call you now Ex sounds dirty I can't say it, sounds so final and I'm still prayin For the worst for the better, we're nothing now we're just two letters Hope you understand I'm not prepared to call you just a friend I'm not so good with tenses I'm tensin up thinkin' about what I'm supposed to call you now I'm not so good with tenses I'm tensin' up thinkin' about what I'm supposed to call you now And I'm not so good with tenses I'm tensin' up thinkin' about what I'm supposed to call you now And it takes a lot to shake me and my body breaks to figure out How to leave the past behind when it's around all of the time And I don't know what I should call you I don't know what I should call you I don't know what I should call you now
heck with this song too... i just started listening to Bayside (outside of them coming on similar band playlists) and this song and Transitive Property are hitting way to close to home... the latter almost exactly... thanks guys.........
From my experience (bayside, the walking wounded, shudder) they're supposed to set the scene for the other songs so they get you in a mood to listen through the whole album
Classic Bayside... these guys have been killing it for a while now. Keep up the great work!
Tbh.. one of my all-time favorite Bayside songs! :D
We’re nothing now… we’re just two letters…
Hope you understand
I’m not prepared to call you just a friend….

❤️❤️
the best songs in this album
I was diehard bayside from sirens to self tittle. And its been awhile since i have heard what makes bayside.....bayside....this song is what we want! Heartbreak.....soul like it used to be
Exactly. Raw
Def one of my favorites of the album
Dude... One of my favorites of all time by Bayside. :D Right behind Blame it on Bad Luck and Killing Time. LOVE IT!!
Good choice of favorites! Big Cheese and The Whitest Lie are pretty high up on my list as well.
Boom Of say Carry On, Duality, and this one are my top tracks at the moment
Best song on the album hands down.
This song rocks my face off, an ill listen to this band until the internet stops
Thank you, love, for showing me this band. I would not have made it without you in my heart and having Bayside. ♥️
I love the lead guitar on these albums... this one seems to be more focused on song-writing and catchiness. Nothing wrong with that at all. Bayside is very talented and can't wait to see them in Cleveland!
This album seriously is up there with self titled i cant believe how amazing they are again. i felt a little disappointed with killing time. but this, this is why i fell in love with them
Jessica OBrien i loved Killing Time, Cult was not good imo
Cameron Rogers really? Killing time I liked a few songs, cult it too me some time for me to really feel and get into the lyrics, then I broke up with my fiancé, I totally got cult and relate to vacancy now
Killing Time was solid from beginning to end. Hearing their song "Already Gone" reminded me of the first time I ever heard Devotion and Desire making me a Bayside fan for life. Vacancy is solid but Killing Time is their best imo.
Cult got some bangers though like Big Cheese and You're No Match.
I haven't disliked any album of theirs, they are all different in their own way, but this album and Cult are friggin awesome
I know I know I should be better, think I am to some degree
I can't explain why it gets harder the more people count on me
Maybe it's all in my head and nothin's changed
And I'm still in the basement with no tattoos and mortgage payments
Well I'm not so good with tenses, I'm tensin up thinkin about
What I'm supposed to call you now
Well it takes a lot to shake me and my body breaks to figure out
How to leave the past behind when it's around all of the time
And I don't know what I should call you now
I don't know what I should call you now
I don't believe that anyone runs from their past so easily
Unless they run towards someone else
And I've seen you lacin' up for years
I'd guess your future looks great well good for you
You're still my inspiration, we're less in tune and more abrasive
And I'm not so good with tenses
I'm tensin up thinkin about what I'm supposed to call you now
And it takes a lot to shake me, my body breaks to figure out
How to leave the past behind when it's around all of the time
And I don't know what I should call you now
I don't know what I should call you now
Ex sounds dirty I can't say it, sounds so final and I'm still prayin
For the worst for the better, we're nothing now we're just two letters
Hope you understand I'm not prepared to call you just a friend
I'm not so good with tenses
I'm tensin up thinkin' about what I'm supposed to call you now
I'm not so good with tenses
I'm tensin' up thinkin' about what I'm supposed to call you now
And I'm not so good with tenses
I'm tensin' up thinkin' about what I'm supposed to call you now
And it takes a lot to shake me and my body breaks to figure out
How to leave the past behind when it's around all of the time
And I don't know what I should call you
I don't know what I should call you
I don't know what I should call you now
lyrics of the year for me
My favorite from the new album !
heck with this song too... i just started listening to Bayside (outside of them coming on similar band playlists) and this song and Transitive Property are hitting way to close to home... the latter almost exactly... thanks guys.........
goddammit who says this is the new devotion and desire!!!
Are track ones supposed to feel this heavy? 💔
From my experience (bayside, the walking wounded, shudder) they're supposed to set the scene for the other songs so they get you in a mood to listen through the whole album
They fucking speak my life with every other song !!!
Best song of 2003
My thoughts exactly. This song sounds the most like older Bayside.
2:44 ....Seeing Sound?
For fuckin sure !
Charles Lomino oh wow I hear that
🤯 how I haven’t realized that til now I have no idea… haha
I'll admit that I'm not big on this album, but this is a great song. Like like the albums that sandwich this record much more, Cult and Interrobang
Love the guitar playing ❣✌️
This and pretty red bracelet *mwauh* 👌
fucking awesome song
😍😍😍
Sent to my town counslor roston sp
Wow nice
You're still my inspiration, but less in tune and more abrasive.
It almost sounds like your talking about tensors. I am also not good with tensors.
