Food looks delicious...Great review
thank you!
SOLID review. Lupes is legendary.
Their four tortillas are amazing and have a flour/dough feel to them
thank you!
Thank you for this. Excellent.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good meeting that day brother. Keep up the dope videos. 💥💥
Appreciate it nice meeting you!
I was at Union Station and I saw a couple with a huge box of food from Lupe’s They were going to the LA dodger game, and took the train!
Sweet. Yes, you can get to Union Station via the Metro and then take the free shuttle to the stadium. Smart.
@@mrxman581 Yep, hella smart.
i’ve done the same!
I'm used to going to Al & Bea's on 1st, but I'm definitely going to have to give Lupe's a shot
Al & Beas is great too! Definitely give it a try
Lupe’s is definitely the best. El Tepeyac and Al&be’s at one time were good. Can’t compete with Lupe’s anymore
Thank you for sharing this. Im going there, soon
Hope you enjoy it!
This video has convinced me … definitely hitting it next time I have the chance with the fam … thanks for the review
definitely! Let me know what you think
Been going to Luge's since the early 80s, and it's still my favorite down-home Mexican fast food. This brother can really put it away, I'm too old now to be able to eat that way, lol.
I'm getting hungry just watching!
Cool review and great video.
- mango
thank you!
Orange bang and green burrito was my go to at Lupe’s 12 different kind of burritos in the early 80’s.
Damn that looks good😋
My go to is the chile verde burrito from Lupe’s 🔥🔥🔥
so good!
David, I wish your channel nothing but the best! I see you investing in that camera and editing. You’re gonna reach 100k subscribers before you know it!
I eat there least once a week since i work in ela. Subbed looking fwd to ur reviews.✌🏽
I am going to try it, thank you, David! ✨️🤍🙏 You describe the food with excellent detail. I swear I can tast it!
thank you ! Hope you enjoy it
My diet ends October 25, what I'm craving the most is a burrito... and a donut.
do it!! make that weight and enjoy 💪🏽
El Tepeyac in Boyle Heights has the best burrito of all time, the Manny Special.
lupe’s is delicious 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 always hits! pastrami fries with avocado and cheese!
the best!
@@DavidEatsLA yes ..your voice is great now 😂😂😂😂🙏🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🤜🏼🤜🏼
I lived on 5th and Ford, four blocks down the street for over ten years, walked by it everyday and never tried it. Only because I never saw people eat so I just assumed it wasn't good.
ah man .. haha it’s definitely gained more popularity recently
The guacamole fries are mandatory!
Dodgertown=Taquitos
Padrecitos=Rolled Tacos
You also have Cielito Lindo in Olvera Street for taquitos with that amazing guacamole sauce.
Their food is 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you bro. I will try this today for the first time
yes! so many great things here
First time I had lupe's I got the red salsa and thought it was going to be just some regular salsa man it's hot but so tasty.
yeah it will get you!!🥵
It's Good been going for years
😋😋😋💯
Hard shell are my favorite. This is it brotha. Burritos Tortas yes. Taquitos. Every thing I love on my momma. Lupe's.❤️🤎🤑😎
such a great spot!
I’ve noticed that the best food channels always at least have traditional American soul food. Hopefully you’ll step up your game.
this is traditional East LA Chicano soul food 🙌🏽
Pitting the cuisines of Brown and Black communities against each other is very uncool and unhelpful. Let dude do what he does. There are (now, finally!!!!!) plenty of platforms featuring traditional soul cuisine. There really is room for all of us.
Their Chicharron burrito is really spicy but good as well 😊
one of my favorites! but damn it makes me sweat 🥵
That's how I like my tacos not many places sell them like that anymore to be honest I'm not a big Torta fan but it did look good but I really need/want to get out there to try their Burritos my problem is I want to try both of those burritos but my go-to burrito is always Chile Verde I might be able to take down two but really doubt I can do three burritos in one setting (four if they have Red Ground Beef burritos also a favorite haha)
I have to add; It always amazes me how something as basic as a Bean & Cheese Burrito can be So Fcking Good
Can you go to carrillos in San Fernando?
*Outstanding Food Reviews- recommend Watching +Subscribing for More ‼️💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻*
thank you appreciate it!!
Really hope it helps…you definitely deserve it
You need to try Pepe's on Valley Blvd 511 w valley Blvd 🙏💯👏👍
Pepe's near the corner of Telegraph and Rosemead have great tacos dorados with shredded beef. They're burritos are great, too. And I always get their chili cheese fries because they use the stewed meat and sauce they use in their burritos as the chile in their chile cheese fries. It's the only place I know of that does that.
Unfortunately, I have bad news. After almost 50 years, Pepe's is closing permanently as of November 16th. It's being torn down and replaced with a Raising Cane. Such a loss. No one needs another Raising Cane's.
BTW, this Pepe's is independently owned and not related to any other Pepes. And, for now, there are no plans to relocate.
oh wow .. I know that different family members own different locations, wasn’t sure if it was independent of one another
Oh Yes sir.
Everything looks delicious, but it's too bad they use ground beef in their tacos dorados. It should be shredded beef.
Im pretty sure they use both , I asked for the ground beef
Nah bro that torta looks dry AF. I love tortas, and that ain't it.
Yeah, seemed like it needed mayo.
Don't knock it till you try it 💯
Where is this place located at you guys never say where it's located😮
the address is in the :17-:19 sec mark 🤷🏻♂️
Lupe’s is sooooo good keep me away from there
Lol u really ate allllll that?
I grazed 😅
Lupes is way overrated..don't get how people hype that place up
well it’s been going strong for 50+ years , it’s just not your taste .. that’s coo. it’s packed daily though
