My 2019 gti has similar heat issues, after the GPF was gone it could breath and temps dropped nearly 20 degrees as it was able to shift exhaust gas so much quicker. Good luck, excited to see dans next black magic 👀

Not really, its got 500bhp but prob weighs 100-150kg more than an m3 so itl be slower than a stock m3

That’s a healthy gain, don’t be disappointed specially because boosted cars hate hot days. You’re on the right track, it’s a stock car but still a strong start!! Lots of room to grow but the hot weather will keep being the limited factor no matter what. Thank you for the video bud!!

Anything above 26 for a turbo car will just heat soak. I live in Dubai and it was 50 today. UK doesn’t really have AC anywhere.

What kind of oil temps are you seeing? On my B9 S4, I’ve seen oil temps around 244F with some aggressive driving which seems high for me.

APR released their stage 1 tune recently and are in the high 10s and BMS' JB4 running 10s too.... interestingly the cooling is a major issue!, waiting to see what solution is used to overcome the major heating issue.... Well done, best of luck !
For tuning, to help heat soak, use dry ice on iso mats on top of the intake for 10-20 mins and check iat temps.

Have you had the thermostat replaced, as two have failed in mine (18 plate RS5) and have since been updated by Audi as known to cause spurious temp readings. Which may account for your low stock initial figures. Mine stock ran at 448 @ 14deg, been waiting for the market to mature to go down the tuning route, as it was too new, swapped from the older V8 model.

I agree with other guys! Here in poland we get like 30-35 Celsius on summer time soooooo.....26 is nothing !!! We mapped Hyundai N30 on the other day and temps were around 55 degrees after fitting bigger intercooler we managed to drop it to 37-40 with 20-30 hp on stage one! With Audi it's common on turbo to get some more cool air so onercoller it's a must oil cooler as well but exhaust it's a must also. So I'm kinda surprised that it's not one of the first mods really....
What are they using to map the car? I was under the impression that APR had unlocked the ECU but others were using piggyback devices?

Great start to fun times Jamie. As your 0-60 record holder (😜) I went from 580 to 750 with remap and exhaust work only. Modern turbo petrol cars are reigned in by conservative manufacturers. Hope your audience enjoying my new channel!
