- Taiwanese breakfast crepe 台式早餐蛋餅 is a popular traditional breakfast dish in Taiwan. I first fell in love with it years ago when I visited the island and my relatives took me to eat Dan Bing. Ever since then I've always wanted to make it back in the states to curb my urge to travel to Taiwan. In this video I'll teach you how to make the Dan Bing!
Hope you enjoy this video. It's a video series I'm going to try out. Thanks for watching!
Ingredients needed (broken down by parts)
Crepe Portion:
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
1 cup of water
2 tbsp of corn starch

3. Add 1 cup of water to the bowl while slowly mixing them together

14. Slightly oil a non-stick pan on medium heat and once warmed up pour 1/2 of the crepe batter into the pan
15. Swirl the pan to cover missed areas
16. Pour the egg mix into the crepe mix and spread the egg evenly using a spatula or brush
17. After 3 minutes flip the crepe over once you see egg almost set
18. (optional) before you flip the crepe you can add your favorite toppings to personalize your crepe
19. Roll your crepe up and make sure its golden brown on the outside layer
20. Transfer crepe to dish and cut into sections. Spread the sauce over the crepe and enjoy!
