There are many of us with no UA-cam channel that have done reptile rescue for years and paid out of our own pocket.I love Kenan and the others but people tend to forget us small time keepers 🐢
asdf asdf not only that but I’m pretty sure they’ve been doing this long before they had their channels. Remember UA-cam has only been around since about 2005... and in its infancy it wasn’t nearly as big as it is now.
For sure they make a lot of videos with some keepers i love jay brewer but brain is just a clickbait with a ton of Racks for snakes and replace his biggest snake like nothing. The sick anaconda whos heavy breathing for air and the keeper says he says hi is just a bad type of keeper in Germany the biggest seller of ball-pythons doesn't care at all about a single animal he just want profit
Ok I think we should just make this a weekly thing, "lessons learned with Kenan and Ron!" I absolutely love your channel because of THIS! Because of the knowledge, education and the effort you go to to share with all of us! Your PASSION AND ENTHUSIASM IS CONTAGIOUS (maybe not great considering the time we're in LOL) but it's awesome to see how excited you get learning as well!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Keep it coming and I'll keep watching! Have a wonderful day Kenan!! Lot's of love and positive vibes headed your way!
I fell in love with lizards, iguanas, tortoises myself, but only recently by watching Kenan, Chandler and other vids all about them. I'll never be able to keep any of these animals, but I live vicariously through these UA-cam channels, especially Kam Kenan's channel. I am addicted to his channel, I have a problem !!!! LOL But how could you not be amazed by these beautiful creatures and the way he takes care of them?
Queen palms are a great source of seeds. Sweet, fleshy seeds which are cut off as part of regular maintenance of these palms. So the tegus are fruit eaters!!! I think we will learn, someday, that most animals enjoy fruit - on a seasonal basis.
Hey....i can think of a hundred addictions that could be way worse!!! Yours is the pure love of animals and its awsome to watch!! I just love your videos!!! Thank you for sharing with us!!
I have a colony of Cuban Knight Anoles in my back yard. I was able to get a picture with my phone of two of them breeding. Beautiful lizards and can get quite big.
Kenan I'm new to your channel and now I'm addicted. I have been binged watching all your video's. Your doing an amazing job at what you do. Keep up the hard work.
The title of this video is so true... I stared out just wanting a Brazilian rainbow boa and now I have a black headed python, carpet python, blue tounge skink, and now I want an eye lash viper. Idk y but the more u learn about reptiles the more reptiles u want
I have the same problem... well the only problem rly is not having a place to keep more and never feeling like i have enough lolz. I love monsters. I'd LOVE to live your life!!!
As someone with a 30 year habit, i agree it's an addiction and we all need to know when to stop. That point is when any of the animals living conditions begin to suffer.
im always out in the woods and look for snakes and i have had incounter with a water snake while fishing and kept feeding my small cetches, i have pictures too was a beautiful snake funny was one then two of em then behind me a small grey looking snake wanted some food too haha so i fed them as well, was such a great experiance. even tho my dad was freaking out i told him to get the camera i got this.
Kenan, can you please provide a link to the diet studies referred to in the video re: tegu diets in the wild. You got everybody on the internet looking for them now lol
Unfortunately I cannot remember the exact names of them and I read them long ago. One was done in situ in the 90s in Argentina and the other was done in Florida in the mid 2000s I believe. May have been done by UM. Most of these can probably be found via Google Scholar and I’m sure if you search you may be able to find them.
I really enjoy your "field trips". I always learn something. Is there a way to improve the audio so that your hosts' comments are picked up better? I don't want to miss a word.
My tegu is my favorite thing in the entire universe. By far the most intelligent and affectionate reptile I've experienced (and I've experienced a many reptile).
I love bearded dragons and I also like water dragons I would love to see some bearded dragons I don’t like to go to far with the gens bc health is my main concern bc you can get some really pretty normals and Dunners are my fav and I like leatherbacks hypos bc the colors are more dominant and be normals so still very healthy
This was amazing. I live in southern AZ and always had a love for reptiles but know I can only have a few here. I've came across over 20 wild rattlesnakes and I'll be 22 this month(August). Love everything you're doing. I'll donate when I have the money, fuck covid lol
Hi I need help with my sulcata tortoise eggs!!! Does anyone know about the hatching process. I have them incubated.... One hatched the other day in the incubator for 90 days..... no others seem to be hatching It been 2 days since the first one hatched. Should I be worried??!! Thank you I will APPRECIATE ANY INFORMATION!!! Even if it seems not important, obvious or whatever else because this is my fist batch in the incubator Thank you!!! Mahalo for your help!!!!
Theres something weird going on with the mechanics of that Mexican snakes jaw I reckon...looks like the top jaw has a secondary drawing inwards action somehow to me... interesting
KAMP! Have you ever heard of Minkman? You have to check him out he is training a Monitor to do rodent control! You have check out and please let us know your thoughts!
Got to respect people like Ron, who have done this before youtube/internet era. 👍👏
Kenan and Chandler did it for educational purposes and support such lovely people who live for Animals. Not like brain or other animal trader

Stellar idea dude and title too!
I like that Ron also says if he doesn't know something! Instead of making a random story wondering off the subject. Really cool guy!
I love how Ron would knock on the Tegu enclosure to try to keep it's attention so it wouldn't attack the camera.
Reptile Ron has an awesome collection! Thanks Ron for letting us see!

Even the small anole males have amazing breeding stamina!
Awesome, loved the tour and Ron's a wealth of knowledge.....kinda partial to the knight anoles too!

The captive anoles must have told the wild one how good they have it.
Dude is like “let me in, I must breed!”
Did it again..... Another awesome video! Luv it!
the colour on that wild lizard was amazing
Both of these videos were awesome.

Very nice setup...
As someone with a 30 year habit, i agree it's an addiction and we all need to know when to stop. That point is when any of the animals living conditions begin to suffer.
Yes you went back nice
Must be so nice to live in a climate where you’re able to keep your animals outside, that Tegu was proper grumpy 😂
You said it, Kenan. I am absolutely obsessed with all things reptilian! I plan on having a *very* large family 😊
Yeah me too
im always out in the woods and look for snakes and i have had incounter with a water snake while fishing and kept feeding my small cetches, i have pictures too was a beautiful snake funny was one then two of em then behind me a small grey looking snake wanted some food too haha so i fed them as well, was such a great experiance. even tho my dad was freaking out i told him to get the camera i got this.

Love this video
Awesome vid Kenan.
Hope you could continue the dream of building those iguana cages.
That was great!

What a amazing video! I need to move to florida, why am I in NJ.

Great video thanks
Very cool
Omg I would love to go there to photograph every single one.
What do they do with them when they die?? Do they stuff them??
WOW that snake eating that rat like that
Always love your videos. My grandson loves your turtle and tortious videos.
I never thought of a tegu as a smaller kinda blue tongue. Makes sense.
You mean the other way around right?
Smaller? You mean bigger right?
👍👍👍👍❤️another great video!
