you are so right. i think i hold this release more dear than any of the other albums they've done. because of this song and the other fabulous tracks on Margerine Eclipse. it's like they were given the golden key of inspiration finally. they must have missed mary hansen something fierce.
I'm not shedding a tear, you are patting your eye dry for that loss. I'm not as well versed in Margerine Eclipse, but lordy do I appreciate StereoLab's attention to musical, lyrical and thematic detail.
The triple whammy of Vonal Declosion, Need to be and ...Sudden Stars is possibly the best three songs in a row on any Stereolab album. Happy to be proven otherwise though!
For me, it's gotta be the last three songs on Cobra and Phases Group... Strobo Acceleration, The Emergency Kisses, and Come and Play in the Milky Night just go together perfectly in my head. And there isn't any proving you wrong - when it comes to music, what is the "best" is most often subjective anyway :p
@@TalonBX Subjection is wonderful when it comes to music as you've proven, but objection can make for fantastic arguments! Cobra was in my era of not really paying attention to the Lab, I rekindled with Sound-Dust (my favourite of theirs), so I'm no expert. there's probably a few on Sound-Dust I could nominate too, but that's nothing to do with me (said he, peeing his feet).
Magnificent vocals and recording. I sure miss Stereolab.
Listen to that intro. A band that cared about making beautiful music.

@@circacirca8838 this is exactly what I think too...
I can't listen to the intro without shedding a tear. God, amazing music.
This song is time traveling music
This is totally their best album...
One of their best
The magnificent Stereolab
The lyrics for this track are almost overwhelming.
Beautiful.. 😍
Transcendent song; the view count baffles me.
it's the best quality sounding upload i've heard and the silence at the end just allows it to absorb......
The gem that steriolab are were ignored by radio 1 ignorance but John peel played and loved this brilliant creativive mad ping pong
Chris Morris played them on radio 1, on his show "The Chris Morris Music Show"
I'm ashamed that my local "rock" stations would never have ventured to play StereoLab. Thank goodness for a friend who introduced me to the band.
yeah but chris morris is a cool dude

@@TalonBXCobra and Phases is so underrated….
I like the music. (need to be)
Tres bonne musique, un bravo de Nouvelle Calédonie !
This must be what it sounds like when your flying.
🙌🙌🙌
i kind of wish there was an instrumental version of this
Create one! It isn't far off with minimal vocals on the combinations of tracks
Someone made one:

Joyful explosion

The intro makes me think of "Fallen Down" from Undertale
michael --did you compose this music? It is joyful !

The label, the artists, whomever?, you are representing a lie.
Is this a complement or what
