- This is my epic orchestral arrangement of the tune "We Shall Sail Together" from Sea of Thieves, and is also my entry for the #WeShallSail contest!
The song was originally composed by Robin Beanland, and the artwork used in the video is a screenshot from the video game.

This is just absolutely incredible. As much as I adore the Rare version, I've always felt this would benefit so much from a full orchestral arrangement. In my own mind, I couldn't have imagined a more grand, epic and fitting piece. This is utterly phenomenal work. Huge respect to all involved, you are absolute artists.

The black pearl shimmers gold into the sea of thieves, the magpie’s wing sets forth, pulled from the depths by belle, and the killer whale joins the legends as they make sail for golden sands. They are accompanied by a sea of ships, fortunes, and pirates, rising up to defend the sea of thieves form those who wish to destroy it. A place more valuable than any treasure. The vanguard of Ramsey’s fleet, with their glowing sails, slice through the darkness as they lead the armada of pirates. A special insignia flies on the flags of all ships, those joining the battle and those supporting from the sidelines. A tribute to the Sea Dogs and Athena’s Fortune. Golden sands has become shrouded once more, but this time, it’s from the fires. The columns of fire. Like the sea is ablaze. Flameheart torments the sea of thieves from above one final time. One. Final. Time. A massive, glowing armada of chalice-bearing sails, spectral vessels, and the betrayed red crosses of Spanish galleons bears down on golden sands from the southeast. This is the time spoken of in the prophecy of the bells. This is our final stand. But the dark brethren laugh as they convene yet again. Everyone’s just a pawn in their game.

After hearing the tiny bit of Who Shall not be returning (Servant Battle version) at the end, I decided to make the entire song more Reaper.
Born in fire, we rise emergant, side by side we sons and servants, we set forth, forever fervent as we sail together.
Hold fast tides are turning, flames roar fires are burning, who'll not be returning if we sail together.
(instrumental part mixing We shall Sail Together and Who Shall Not Be Returning)
All on the waves shall know our story, sing of the battles fought ashore, we all shall thrive on flame galore seen when we sail together.
Words of warning have been spoken, Flamehearts fury has awoken, now at last our chains are broken, we prevail together.

I have for sure been considering doing a cover of that one! That piece is already a really wonderful orchestral arrangement on its own, so I have to think about what I could do to make an arrangement stand boldly apart from the original, but it’s on my radar. :)

always be a memory and song that plays that will always trigger memory's with someone I once played with. showing her the PL under ground and how she was proud of me for getting it. we even had our own ship and named it and now .. well now .. I sail alone … with our ship. if you ever see a ship called the (TAINTED ROSE) she named it and now i sail it alone with nothing but the times we had on the ship. and all the amazing memory's. such a shame. stop and say hello share loot and have a drink on me ship. see you all on the seas guys.
