I'm sorry but this will never happen. With Super Sonic you can't go up or down, the view wasn't designed for a flying character, and then the game would become boring in the long run. He is OP, so he is invincible, he would take out all enemies in one fell swoop, and then he constantly needs rings.

@@SupportTheLittleGuy yes but they selled 5 islands on trailers and aparantly in the original game code where suposed to be 4 REAL island My theory is they used kronos area as the "mini easy" Beggining, then ares and chaos island, then the comeback to kronos for disable the tower and make all the ouranos stuff maybe... And then go to the 4th island before the final boss and true ending... (My theory and head canon is that this island where supossed to be in "the end" Moon's like, super sonic go to space then got hit by a "the end" Laser and untransformed, and then he need to collect the 7 chaos emeralds in the planet in time to become super sonic again and then fight him... And honestly this would have sense, is s more satisfactory and tense ending... And even have sense with the thing that there are only 4 cyberspace themes and fun fact green hill have most of those levels having 10 levels in total... My theory is it was suposed to all the island to have 10 levels in total. I replicated it by getting Giganto into bis second phase and then getting hit by one laser. Then when he does his lunge I boost into his hands and instead of getting knocked back, you just phase through him. Then you can boost away from his body and try to break the invisible barrier
I guess because already the gsmed goes well and then they can focus on improve other things of the game or fix some other more important bugs etc.. Still they could do that flr switch cause honestly the giganto bods fight in switch is literally 3fps lol
