I was always curious as to whether we would be able to use Super Sonic with whatever skin he was wearing previous to the boss fight. Playing with the SA2 shoes as Super Sonic would’ve been awesome for us console players. Maybe in a future update we are allowed to do so
Would be nice if they tried a sort of Encore Mode for this game. Make the late-game enemies available in the first island while making new, more challenging variations for the later islands, and redesign the bosses' moveset and designs to be way more challenging than the base game, pretty much making EX bosses. They could also make new, more challenging Cyber Space levels that replace the ones in the original playthrough. Oh, and change the scenery's colors, like Mania's
I'm sorry but the amount of rings you get for counterattacking Giganto is way too much. Especially since you can get him stuck in a counter loop thus infinite rings. Needs to be nerfed to 10.
It's a good request, the mod isn't finished, probably the modder would make some adjustments after finishing most of the islands and cyberspace so we need to be patient. Even with those rings I died a lot just practicing the parry and trying to maintain a combo synergy to end the battle quickly as possible.
I recently downed Giganto at level 1. The ring refills are gone. The player needs to master the nerfed parry and maintain a phantom rush while figuring out how to maximize stomp attack efficiency. All of that and the player gets less than 2 minutes
Yes, the health is larger and the missiles are more faster. Grabbing rings from the missile sequence is key to survive, also dodging cancels that slow sequence when it's just Wyvern face and does nothing.
@@Exell5000 you can finish in 2-3 minutes using a series of moves than simple stomp spam that will halt ring drain for considerable time. Cyloop also helping in dishing huge damage.
I kinda wish they kept Super Sonic's ludicrous dmg of Super Sonic, instead increasing Titan hp more than they already had, because seeing massive dmg numbers from your normal attacks was always cool and showed how stupidly OP Super Sonic really is. Instead of Cyloop and Parry giving rings back, I feel like they should be placed around the arena like in previous games, or the Wyvern fight, this means you cannot get rings and deal damage at the same time, forcing you to switch between the two. Depending on how long you'd get from rings placed around the arena, I think the Titan fights should last at least 10 minutes or smth. Idk if the mod forces all your stats at lvl 1, but I feel like either stats shouldn't be upgradable, or not apply during Super Sonic fights.
One thing i will say is that it would have been cooler if we got more cinematic boss fights, not that they weren't already but like say if you phased in and out of super sonic during it to add more steaks Edit: and to be more clear, like if cyber corruption corrupted sonics stability with the chaos emeralds
The rings had a purpose, the hp is higher, Sonic's damage is reduced, so 100 won't last the whole battle. Doing timed parry's or filling the cyloop gauge rewards the player to staying alive and that's the gimmick. On vanilla is easy, Giganto's hp is too low even with lvl1 stats, since the player can beat it with just 50-60 rings without much effort, just cyloop and a lot of stomps and it's in the bag.
Well... i tested both fights (Vanilla&modded) and both battles were easy in their own way... With the mod you can cheese giganto anytime with the cyloop getting a lot of ring and also doing extra damage with stomps while airborn almost infinitely, so kills the difficult in a way. On vanilla still is the problem of lower hp and also the damage multiplier of the wild rush + extra damage of being airborn with the cyloop drains almost the hp of Giganto. In conclusion both options weren't that difficult if the player can exploit those mechanic at any given time. The player can make some self-restriction to make the battle more difficult but it is what it is. Thanks for your coment, it made me analyse with more depth the battles. :D
@@Exell5000 Wild rush is insane against all titans, due to the damage and how it freezes the ring counter. I actually did a run against Wyvern with 60 rings, no missile parries or Wild Rush. That was pretty fun. :]
I think the only way to make this impossible is if you have 100 rings and you can't use any skills you can only mash the attack button cause I've tested it on the regular game and it's impossible to even get to the 2nd phase with 100 rings and not using any skills
Well, the parry isn't a skill so... You can just attack a provoke Giganto to attack you and beat him with just doing that multiple times. I'm talking on regular game, with the mod it's too much hp to cover.

absolutely not. the fight is way longer, his health pool is huge. he's more aggressive, and I'm pretty certain the parry has been changed to be timing based.

If the mod didn't give the player rings on that battle would have been impossible to win due to the reduced attack from Sonic and Giganto hp increase, unless you upgrade your rings with elder koco "That could be an alternative". I recommend that you try the mod to see the differences with more depth.
The modder itself added that mechanic, since it was a lot of hp to drain and you only have 100 rings, those extra rings solved that problem + gives you a reward for timing the parry correctly or using cyloop. It would be possible without that mechanic, but would involve a lot of cheesing + only stomps .
I'll say you could wait to a pricedrop when offers are available, isn't worth 60 bucks but would have more content at the end of 2023. It's a collectathon, if you like Mario Odyssey, Banjo Kazooie or Lego games you probably like this game, if not the game could become tedious and repetitive. The gameplay is a combination between Adventure and Boost formula, the physics has some jank in it but still it's fun to play. If you played Sonic colors, cyberspace gameplay play somelike to that playstyle, some levels are good others not so much, they reuse 4 esthetics and some layouts from other Sonic games "including SA2" and some originals too. The soundtrack is different from each level. About the combat don't expect to be that complex like some hack and slash games, but is good enough to fit Sonic's character "The video show some move that you could do" And last, the upgrade system for the attack and ring cap it's kinda broken since from the start Sonic it's powerfull. Hope this is usefull to you. :)

Getting rings kind of ruins the challenge. Just purposefully going with minimum rings in vanilla is more difficult

Check the modders description. I think disabling some things from the mod allow those other mods to work together.
