I don’t agree w the sassy man thing just bc your definition isn’t the end all be all. It’s also another example of men being given criticism without direction. Be masculine, but not too masculine. I see your point. I think the dating scene now has a lot of mixed views, and the "critisism without direction" as you said is causing problems for the ladies and the gents. As you mentioned, Its either men are too masculine or not masculine enough, men can show emotion but not too much emotion because that's being too "feminine". Must be confusing for the guys honestly.
And for women, it's either you are traditional feminine, trad wife or your independent but don't be too independent cause that's "too masculine". Dont work, that's for the men, but you're a goldigger if you depend on the guy.
It's all very confusing for both, but most people, even me still have drilled in view of how a woman and man should act or be, and anything that disrupts that standard is hard to understand or hard to accept.

As a man, I find senseless to hit a woman's face with a brick in public because she doesn't want to give her phone number to a total stranger. As for ghosting, as a man I can guarantee you that men can suffer like women do since ghosting is a total shutdown, a storm of silence in which you won't understand anything at all; what's more is that I think that ghosting somebody who is just trying to establish a normal contact with somebody is an immature way to handle things, people and emotions and hence a red flag.

That's why I make it a priority to not be like them: being kind, understanding, not being a jerkface or an @##hole, knowing that young ladies such as yourself are people too, respect their choice, avoiding self-entitlement (WHICH I REALLY CANNOT STAND!!). i got ghosted Dec 2022.. we was hanging out , he took me home to meet his family a few times , his sisters became my sisters,, his mom was asking me to stay the night and all , he came to pick me up at work for lunch and drop me back off .. and then , we said happy new year and he never spoke to me again. 😩 he nvr replied to any of my messages again..

I thought this video was gonna be general and really get into the problems of what is really going on, cause if this video aimed to shed light and make people more aware. The negative things that both men and women are doing should be highlighted. For instance, with the sassy man apocalypse, I can not agree more to this and it is irritating but on the flip side to this, women are raised to be independent now a days (which I love) however, when we start dating, we don’t know how to turn off that masculinity and live in our femininity even when we get a man that is what we want on the ‘masculinity spectrum’ 😂. Dating is awful because there is toxicity on both ends.

Girl! I have been saying for years to my bestie that the reason no one settles down and gets married and stays loyal is because they have eternal options.
In the past, people were generally stuck with those in the town they lived in. You had to find someone and stick with it.

There’s nothing wrong with a man being perceived or acting in a more “traditionally feminine way”. 😮 It supports the notion that femininity is less than masculinity and that men who are “feminine” or not traditionally masculine are not “real men”, which is homophobic and also misogynistic.
A lot of homophobia stems from misogyny since it’s a hatred and devaluing of anything that can be perceived as feminine, hence gay men who present in a feminine manner or lean towards femininity end up being viewed as “sissies” “girly”;”weak” etc.
PLEASE don’t participate in and perpetuate homophobia and misogyny. It’s harmful and only promotes discrimination and eventual violence against queer people and women.

its so interesting to here ur opinions because I am gay and have similar views but for different reasons. Like body count isnt a rude question but then if u judge me after the fact and/or dont answer urself then thats just foul. why does my body count matter but urs doesnt? u kno? with the sassy man, i think its men becoming a bit more comfortable in their feminity. this doesnt make them inherantly feminine but means they are not afraid to show emotion. As a gay guy who is very feminine, being told I am not allowed to cry because its not masculine, no emotion, u cant like pink, ur opinion needs to be bland on feminine subjects, you need to walk a certain way, etc. its damaging and brought me to a dark place. (on the verge of s*****). Also, with the way men react to rejection (not all cases), is most likely a result of pent up emotions, the fact that men have been raised to bottle all their emotions up until it blows is sad, resulting in men who are inadequate at expressing themselves without harming others. I also think that the idea that 'if a boy is being mean it means he likes you' on the guy side of things, is so rediculous, as a kid i interpreted this as if you like someone be mean. (and I was mean to a few guys at school) but then again i grew out of this, and realised it was childish. I also think that the reason people dont tell me to 'man up' anymore, is because i am very feminine looking which further perpetuates the ideas revolving around sexism, how male presenting people need to bottle up and female presenting people can express their emotions.
