young cole was swagged tf out .. his first part is actually crazy
Bro went from the Dwindle camp to Blackbox. What did you expect to happen?
Hey 9 club. I love watching your show. Just curious what are the chances you could get Heath Kirchart to come be a guest?
Lol shit prob not happening
Never happening tbh
man I'd pay to see that
@@user-gz1su4mf9twhy not ?
I was 5 when In Bloom came out. I can’t even put into words how much influence that video had on me.
He def went from baggy to tight stuff overnight no matter how you want to twist it. Not that it really matters lol.
It’s hard to go against what two genuine dudes are saying, but seems so clear Jamie was dressing Chris. I’m sticking with that story haha
No be fair, a lot of us went from baggy to skinny overnight 😅
The piss drunk dudes (Reynolds, Greco, Dollin, Boulala, etc) were hugely influential, plus the wind was blowing in that direction already…
I know it's a different sport, but if you look at rollerblading, this happened pretty much to most pros. Everyone went from super baggy to tight jeans in what felt like overnight.
@@jakeenge3447even the pros you mentioned all went from baggy to tight over night.
You were there seeing him get dressed ?
I couldn’t stand Zero, Jamie, and even James for being SUCH a follower.
Its funny because skating from Trenton to Levittown and sh*t growing up ALOT of us dressed like Chris Cole on purpose. Dude was a hometown hero basically and seeing him at GSpot was like seeing your heroes in person.
God I miss those days. I used to skate with him and the hot wax crew from time to time growing up.
@@SwalesPhoto wow what a throwback to some of the best times to skate. I still have a pair of fallen chiefs somewhere I had my mom get Cole to autograph because I was too embarrassed to ask as a shy kid. Blessings man, hope all is well 💯
Always had a chris cole warlock guitar deck, used to run into him all the time around the area, and I used to be embarrassed to skate his deck in front of him, hindsight it probably made him feel good to see his boards in his local areas
@@SergNoberg amazing dude. Such a nice graphic. I had a Cole deck with a reaper and then a Cole deck with a reaper and horse. Both Xmas presents 🎁 thanks for sharing banger memories
As an L-towner I agree. Everyone was rocking Troopers or Rippers, some Krew jeans and the striped Fallen Cobra hoodies in every color. I miss that purple building all the time.
Your boss is making a wise move by suggesting a wardrobe upgrade; especially if the skater is part of a marketing effort, being the “human-side” of the product and all.
I remember as a kid watching the Circa transworld vid and seeing Chris Cole, then buying Dying to live and I was like Jamie def rubbed off on Cole. Even at the age of 14 I could sense what was going on. hahahaha
Damn all the skinny jeans and tight black shirts I had was all a lie…. Never felt more betrayed
Y’all do know that his name was CHRIS KEBLE originally? And it switched to Chris COLE.😅 yeah, definitely not an image change, ok 🎉 just be honest because it’s part of skate history, good bad or ugly. I wonder how long until the nice club I mean nine club hides my comment, like all the other ones that aren’t agreeable
Hey gents luv from south Africa ❤❤
The sponsor of style and influence to skating in 2001 while outside the story of Zero and realistic to filming in Atlanta and giving him the Shirt?!
I remember wearing an Alice In Chains t-shirt, big ass oversized cut off light jeans and black n gray suede etnies with the rubber strip around the toe. Had to be early 90’s.
the skateboarding in the little caption box is getting me so hyped to skate. its gone past midnight on sunday night and i just want to go rip. thanks
I moved to Morrisville in ‘03… the Talk & Legacy of Chris Cole was real! Even when I went to Reign Skate for the first time it was evident he was a Hometown Hero! Even Reign’s Font was riding the Cole/Zero Bandwagon! Lol
Damn I could never rock with reign the way I rocked with gspot. Completely different vibes but great times nonetheless. I'm pretty sure G-spot close down like two years after the consignment shop opened.
@@HDfromNJ Apples & Oranges… Major League vs. AAA. Pour one out for each of them as there’s not too many left!
@@alexalb5256 apples and oranges if you didn't skate or patronize G-spot I guess. Place of legend that produced some of, if not the best street skaters alive today.
it was also rumored that Jamie would use spit and a napkin to clean Cole's face after "dressing" him ;;)
This video title is hilarious 😂
Chris cole was trying to name his wife to fit Chris (James)
One has to watch or listening to the Nine Club so many secrets
Man, forgot Cole was on enjoi at one point!
I always thought the switch was to differentiate him from Colt Cannon...another am with similar style also in the limelight around the same time
That was the style back then.
Cole was everytime the cool guy with wearing band tees from 80s and90s 70s bands and we had the same style 😂😂😂😂 like 10000 skaters at that time too
0:32 what fucking trick is this??? 😂
Chris cole flip
People are allowed to switch styles. I've switched styles plenty of times in my life.
What’s the name of the skate video that is playing during the video?
If Enjoi had turned Chris pro they might still be around 😢
Enjoi had Rodney Mullen Daewon song and Jerry Hsu. Definitely not a skater issue. There's just too many Brands and not enough skaters.
Man In Bloom was such a sick video. I think it was maybe the third skate video I watched
Chris Roberts is just too nice of an interviewer.
In bloom Cole ✨
Jaime thomas has the perfect asmr voice
im in palm desert right now lol
Joan Jett on wheels
Circa
Maybe just my pov, but chris cole and kerry getz have an almost identical style. Not clothing wise, i mean skatewise.
There are some gay overtures with Jamie and Cole.
lmao
You mean overtones?
Either one works....
nah, it's just a big bro and lil bro dynamic
Just hugging on my homies!!
Baggy looks awful
Jaime Thomas is a gronk straight up listen to how he talks business through other 9 club casts
