the way Kurt Cobain could change his voice in songs like this, randomly change the lyrics in certain songs, showed that he wasn't afraid to be different when it came to performing live. a lot of artists today would be too worried about doing this. Kurt didn't have that fear, obviously. he seemed to do what he wanted on stage and not care, and somehow it still sounded good
He didn’t take himself too seriously. That’s how you have fun.
When Kurt intentionally messing up about a girl is better than puddle of mudd trying their best covering the same song shows you a lot about how kurts voice still holds up

Imagine if someone had pulled Kurt aside after that gig and told him that in 2019, almost 30 years in the future, some guy will be sitting in a basement flat in Camden Town in London watching on repeat how well he handled that glitch before going into and smashing the solo. Lol.

With all the live performances they did touring, I think he got bored and started feeling like a machine pumping out the same songs in every city they played. I so love it when he decided to twist up a song or do a down right ridiculous version of it. Even I screw up words to popular songs and it's fun.
I have to commend Krist and Dave for seamlessly following along when Kurt would get Into one of those moods spontaneously . Those two are pros but knowing Kurt I think they knew to expect the unexpected. Damn, they were a good band!
Ps. I know this was an equipment malfunction in this case. But just pointing out how Intuitive and pro they were. Alot bands would have just stopped playing. ✋sigh 😕 . They were magic!

It didn't, it was off during where he normally plays the solo, he started playing the solo on what is normally the last verse, Kurt basically just played the solo there instead and then they went into the last verse
