You couldn't get a better guy to test your Viper than Ralph Gilles and Gary Wimble. Wimble has an on- board camera that's on UA-cam from Watkins Glen doing a 1:55 with a stock Viper. I think he might have had Hoosier tires, I don't know, but a 1:55 is flying. The best time I've seen from the corvette C7 Z06 is 2:00, I assume it was stock.
As a British owner, how have you found the service and maintenance in the UK? Just interested as I hope to one day be able to afford a ACR and import it here.
Well tbh they are very easy to work on and fairly simple technology. So I have a couple of fairly sensible well trained general mechanics I can use for pretty much most things on it. I also work on some bits myself too. And I'm not a mechanic! Also good support from Viper community and forums and you can always get parts even if you get them shipped over.
@@realstradman Thanks for the reply, really appreciate the insight into owning one here. 👍 I'd read about some horror stories regarding the engine reliability for the gen 5 vipers. Are those issues found mostly in early models (2013-2014)?
Great video. Very informative. This Prefix company also has my attention. Enjoy your Viper. You have a awesome set up. 👍. Looking forward to seeing some more videos now with the upgrades.
I commented on your FB, but had know idea how much more epic the complete story was! But PreFix advertises 820rwhp on their site. I'm going to buy the 9.0 Extreme too.
Just found this video after asking about upgrades yesterday... Awesome job with the mods!
