- Pastor Jeff Durbin preached this message before Apologia Church. It's part of our "Kingdom of God" series. The text is from Matthew chapter 12. Jesus was accused of working with Satan. He told His enemies if He had cast out demons by the Spirit of God then the Kingdom of Heaven HAD come upon them. What are we to make of this? What are the implications?

I use to believe and even taught that the kingdom of God was an invisible kingdom. I learned that from John Mcarthur. Thank you pastor. Preterism is making more sense to me.
Raising people up and sending them to proclaim the Gospel is what the Church does. Awesome convicting message. God bless, will be praying for the planting of the new Church.

My dad was a paster for most of his life...he always taught kingdom authority. That's all I know....I can't imagine having to wait for it..?no wonder they want to be raptured

IF CHOSEN YOU DESIRE
(1) No more wealth then the poor.
(2) To never use force to overcome evil.
(3) To not enrich yourself upon the misery of another.
(4) To: "Do not be deceitful to a neighbor, your witness that of a liar." 9th Commandment
(5) To see why it is that the freedom to give up being evil, it must also include the freedom to give up being good, which would forever make one potentially sinful. And so, as a good belief today may turn into a rotten belief tomorrow, God is not about to allow freewill converted believers in heaven, just to start another war in heaven.
(6) To see why God considers keeping sinners out of heaven more important then the 90% of humans who love the pleasures of sin more then they love God.
(7) To love God more then we love sex.
(8) To not worship the rich.
(9) To not worship mainstream media as it is all owned by the rich.
(10) To not be in the upper-half of society, as it sinfully hoards all the land, wealth, political power and healthcare.

I need to be saved and Baptize. But I Hurd that you can only be baptized once then after that just ask for forgiveness. Is this true? But You have changed the way I pray and view god and I thank you so very much for that. I love listening to you and I hope to come see you one day. Thank you
Hi friend. Salvation is not about anything you do; salvation is all about what GOD Did, Does, and will Do. Baptism is not the means of salvation, it is an outward sign of what happened Spiritually. That is, from death (the wages of sin is death) to Life, eternal, in (by Trusting) CHRIST JESUS. GOD Came Down as a Man, JESUS CHRIST, to Do what we cannot. Because of Adam and Eve, the fall, and our own wicked hearts; We are in rebellion against GOD, and we need a new heart, as GOD Says, "the heart is wicked and deceitful above all things, who can know it", and that our evil words and deeds flow forth from that heart of stone.
But, thanks be to GOD, that JESUS CHRIST (GOD in the flesh) Came and took on the Wrath that we deserve, for our sins, and gave us eternal LIFE. By HIS Death on †he cross HE Dealt with our sin (soaking up the Wrath of GOD), and by HIS Resurrection We are Made New and Given HIS Righteousness; by Grace (the entirely free Gift of GOD), through Faith (to Trust in), in CHRIST (The GOD MAN, and HIS Finished Work on Our behalf (Ephesians 2). So that all who Turn (repenting) and Trust (Faith) by HIS Free Gift (Grace) are †he Sons and Daughters of GOD. Currently, CHRIST Is Ascended (in the flesh, forever) and Riegning as KING of Kings and LORD of Lords, and HE will Come again, returning for HIS People and to Judge. He who confesses with his mouth and believes in his heart shall be saved. Do you believe this Good News, known as †he Gospel?

On the baptism, noting that i am a Baptist, no, it is not necessarily true. i say that because i noticed that you capitalized "Baptism" but not salvation; and more so, left "god" in all lower case. This is not a problem, but may show emphasis n where our minds are. i put GOD in all caps, and capitalized the first letter of HIS Work (what HE Does) to try to help emphasis, and honor my GOD. There is "one faith and one baptism", but this does not mean what you seem to be talking about. We do believe in one baptism, but it is one baptism in faith, as a Believer. Again though, physical water baptism saves no one. But We are Saved by Grace, through Faith, in CHRIST; producing Repentance and Faith, which We walk out because GOD Is Working in Us. Baptism is an ordinance, We observe it only after We Repent and are Trusting CHRIST, in Fear and LOVE; looking only to HIM (not ourselves or anything we do) and HIS Finished Work on behalf of HIS People (those who Trust HIM). So, do you believe †he Gospel?

I’m just curious, it doesn’t bother me, but do they not have a nursery? Because i always hear babies in his sermons lol
25:30 onward - Why is any of this remotely controversial? Isn't this just... basic biblical Christianity? This is the way I desperately LONG to live. I just can't figure out specifically how. This is a source of endless sadness and frustration.

Always stuck in the wrong books of your bibles. Matthew-John is not written to the body of Christ. Ignore Paul and lose out on reward in heaven. It's your call
Romans2Philemon you mean like all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me; go therefore making disciples of all nations baptizing them and teaching them to obey? Making disciples is a command from Jesus. Rewards in heaven should be an afterthought...
