This is the 5th sermon in this series I have watched over the course of two days. It has completely rocked my world, and changed the way I now perceive the New Testament.
This is my 3rd time rewatching this series from Apologia studios, 13 videos in total! Watch ALL of them before you judge Pastor Jeff in his view of the end times. He makes compelling arguments throughout and my whole eschatology has changed because of it. Thank you so much for these videos!
So is he A mill? I was pre before listening to Voddie Baucham. Now learning more from Jeff but not entirely knowing still what is yet to happen until Jesus comes back.
@@Tadneiko There appear to still be some of the messages missing from the playlist I linked, but this is the most comprehensive list of this series that I’ve been able to find where they’re in order.
One of the things that always trips People up when I speak to them about these things is, "If Christ is talking about a global, earth destroying event, then what would fleeing to the hills do to save you?' Since a few people liked this and a couple commented I'll add another one: If the apocalypse is supposed to be just like lightning, visible from the East to the West, keep in mind that this is still a local event. I certainly can't see lightning in Jerusalem from here in Indiana.
Wow! I’ve never heard this passage preached this way but it makes so much sense. My mind is blown! I have so many questions- but will continue to study and learn as I want to know the truth of God’s word. Thank you!
Durbin is absolutely right. As an atheist with no traditional baggage I read the bible in order to ridicule the text and broaden my knowledge for debates with Christians and as I read that text and others I saw it quite obvious that the bible's revelation in this passage is of the end of the covenant age.
Kathy: Amen Sister. We bring the whole Family for the whole service. Since when should the "Family of God" be segregated by age ? That's humanist practice not Covenantal - Biblical practice. We also homeschool - there is a connection. God bless you - David
Thank you Jesus, this is the first time F=I=R=S=T time ever, (repeat) I have ever heard Matthew 24 explain like this, Which it answers so many of my previous questions, I have had while reading 24, Oh my amazing God. Thank you Jesus, wow 😲 Sorry I feel like I just won the lottery 😁 talk about jaw dropping
Adela Lax - isn't is amazing when finally, answers to questions we've had for so many years. It makes sense, doesn't it? Then when you begin to read the holy writ as was intended, rather than with the American self absorbed mindset that it's all about us, we can understand what it's really all about. Blessings, and always question that your learnings of past aren't just traditions
Richie B Kewl no I would say that since the late 1800 century there has been a bad theological interpretation that’s crept into the church. Look up dispensational theology and went it started.
Richie B Kewl Dispensationalism developed as a system from the teachings of John Nelson Darby, considered by some to be the father of dispensationalism (1800-82), who strongly influenced the Plymouth Brethren of the 1830s in Ireland and England
Here is am 11/8/21! I just subbed. What a powerful sermon! I read some comments. I'm still at Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life! He could come, this bag of bones could parish. Christ please send me to Heaven! Please!
Ligonier ministries just made a playlist on R.C. Sprouls views on end times and it sounds like he believes the same as Brother Jeff. I highly recommend listening to it. Very informative.
Kevin Ruggerio I agree! I was literally left speechless after this one. I love the question and answers panels they have. Truly solid biblical teachings.
Really enjoying the Apologia sermons and how deep Jeff digs into the scriptures. He knows his theology! Only wish his teaching included more bible truth. I'm always having to filter his opinion from biblical fact.
PatternSon yeah I think the original post was asking to group the all in one playlist, I’m gonna go thru and make a playlist of all the Matthew 24 teachings from pastor Jeff
@@jackiemoore791 futurism is easy to make sense of, you just have to shoe horn the text into current events, and boom! It makes so much sense. I used to be a futurist, but after the Rapture didn't occur in 1988, and Saddam didn't rebuild Babylon, I began to have misgivings. The biggest antidote to futurism on Revelation is to read what Futurist preachers predicted 40 years earlier or more. If John's book to encourage the church was about an event that those people would never see nor understand, it makes the book fundamentally dishonest. Futurism is a favorite of false teachers "here is the Christ, there is the Christ...."

Full preterism and premillennialism treat the analogies of the Kingdom of God the same way… The Kingdom of God is like a small stone that grows into a mountain and fills all the earth (Daniel 2) Or a little leaven that grows and permeates the whole loaf (Matthew 13) Or a mustard seed (the smallest seed) that grows into a large tree (Matthew 13) Christ must reign until all his enemies are under his feet and THEN the end comes Psalm 110:2, reign in the midst of your enemies. Isaiah 40, He will not grow faint or weary until He HS established Justice! Isaiah 11, They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Premillennialism and Full Preterists have the kingdom of God dropping in like a Nuke. Premillennialism at the end of time where Christs destroys all his enemies with a snap of the fingers, and Full Preterism in a symbolic interpretation of the MILLENIUM as 40 Years in Christs generation. Full Preterism does not line up with the parables and analogies we are given about the Kingdom of God

I have been following Jeff Durbin and his street encounters and now have been marvelled to hear him preaching over Matthew 24 over the series of videos. Because of his love and respect for the work of God i would love you to pass on this message to him so that he might step further into his knowledge regarding the spiritual misconceptions. 1. Satan - The word Satan (Hebrew: יֵצֶר הַרַע ) as it states in Wikipedia is the inclination of mans’ heart desire to do evil things in opposition to the will of God. I will point out three bible clear illustrations. 2. Hell (in its 3 variations)- (/ˈʃiːoʊl/ , /-əl/; Hebrew: שְׁאוֹל ) in Hebrew only means the “place of darkness” where the dead go, throughout the bible this word is used to describe and nothing else. Then the word is translated into Greek (/ˈheɪdiːz/; Greek: ᾍδης ; Ἅιδης ) which has the same conotation of being a place where the dead go/rest. Now the work (/ɡɪˈhɛnə/, /ɡəˈhɛnə/) or Gehinnom (literally translated as "Valley of Hinnom”) was a place at the outskirts of Jerusalem where the Kings would make their sacrifices killing their children (Jeremiah 7:31) and later their enemies of war. There is no hell such as religion created, being the phisical place where the sinner would go to, we only need to understand which of the three words are being used on the text and apply its meaning to the text. In the book of revelation where it says about the “Lake of Fire” read and understand that the words lake of fire is another figure of speech and not a literal place and it simply means what the text says: The second death (Revelation 20:14 "the spiritual death") the one that Jesus conquered on the cross of which has no power of God’s people the church, the bride, the new Jerusalem, etc. The sinners and the non-believers will be going to eternal shame which is also the lake of fire, our spirits will return to God and their spirits will die and will not dwell in the presence of God. The 20 centure idea of hell is the creation of religion to slave peaple into their doctrines creating fear and captivity, which is “satan” the opposite desire of God for our lives. I would love to have an open conversation with brother Jeff Durbin. Above anything else, I would like to say that I appreciate the work God is doing though Jeff bringing understanding of the word of god and freeing God’s people from religion.

Daniel 12:9-10 I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?” He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand. God has deliberately hidden the whole truth of the end. This verse is telling us that the truth if the end time is hidden from us and only when the end is here will humanity be separated between believers and the wicked.
Theo Logian - Daniel was told to seal up the vision and prophecy until the time of “the end”. John (in Revelation) was told not to seal up the words of the prophecy because “the time is near”. The “end” in view in both texts is the age of the Messiah, or the New Covenant, as the Old Covenant Age was ready to disappear (see Hebrews 8:13). Peace!
Speaking of Jesus coming on the clouds, brings up a question I have. In Acts as He rose the clouds received Him. It then says the disciples stood looking up. And as they stood there, the two in white asked them "why do you look up"? Don't you know He is 'going' to come in the same He left? They were watching Him leave right at that time. I have ideas, but would like to hear another's understanding. I am greatly enjoying your channel. Please forgive my not quoting exactly. God bless you richly. John
Coming down in the clouds it is symbolic as Judgment. As Christ was taken up into the clouds, he would come down on clouds. It is all over the Old Testament. Jesus did come, he came in judgement in the destruction of Jerusalem. God destroyed the Temple, the abomination was the animal sacrifices that caused the desolation. The Jews chose the animal sacrifice over Christ Sacrifice. (Matthew 23:36 Truly I tell you, all this will come on this generation.(AO) 37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you,(AP) how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings,(AQ) and you were not willing. 38 Look, your house is left to you desolate) Psalm 104:3 The Lord wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent 3 and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters. He MAKES THE CLOUDS HIS CHARIOTS and rides on the wings of the wind. Isaiah 19:1 A prophecy against Egypt: See, the Lord RIDES ON A SWIFT CLOUD and is coming to Egypt. The idols of Egypt tremble before him, and the hearts of the Egyptians melt with fear.
@@thereisnopandemic Yes, they chose the sacrifice of the blood of the animal. Are we going to crucify Him again, by choosing our thoughts, over His voice? My Words, they are spirit and they are life. Can someone read the words in the bible, and understand it the same as someone who believes Jesus is Lord? Sure. But as the Spirit teaches us, it brings light. Our dependence has to lie upon Him, not our ability to understand. The natural mind wars against the things of God. The elementary foundation of the doctrines of Christ begin with repentance from dead works. That is us recognizing the sin of wanting to be like God, and eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That's a lifestyle. Bringing everything into obedience to the knowledge of Christ, not the Bible. He will use the Bible quite a bit if you study it. The second part of that foundation is faith towards God. So we repent, and depend on ourselves, and we turn and look unto God. Faith comes, and it comes by the spoken Word of God. As we are facing Him, He speaks to us, faith arises in our hearts. Love you but it is getting late tonight. Have a wonderful nights sleep. Much love, john

This does make a lot of sense! Also, for so many of the other interpretations, Jesus words would have been VERY confusing to the people who were there listening to him. Plus, it also seems to make so much more sense that the people who committed some of the nastiest sins (killing Jesus, massacre of the apostles and Christians etc). God always has vengeance elsewhere, so why would he punish the people who mocked and crucified him???
Duh, He spoke unto them in PARABLES PRECISELY SO THAT THEY would NOT Understand. Also - "Unto YOU it is give. To know ... " Not to just anyone! READ the WHOLE NT, not just this guy's cherry-picked sections / verses.
Great job Jeff. The wars and rumors of wars today is not a sign. There are always wars and rumors of wars in our current day and it does not signal anything to us. On the other hand though, wars and rumors of wars during the Pax Romana would have been out of the ordinary and would have stood out as a sign to the people of that day. A preterist interpretation of Matthew 24 understands the text for what it Biblically says and takes into consideration the audience relevance. A future fulfillment as in the 21st century has to rely on a re-interpreting of words and phrases to make sense of it. Dispy’s seem to gloat on “LITERAL” interpretation but know very well that they don’t actually do that with Matthew 24 or several other texts.
Isaiah 10:5 Oh thank you Lord Jesus I just read this passage last night and realised that God uses the nation's to pass judgment upon his people. What a confirmation. I agree with nearly everything Jeff has said. My only hang up is the text that says, "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be."
Read Josephus Wars. He describes the times around 70AD when Rome had the city surrounded and what happened before and during. Just to give you one tid bit from it, people were eating their babies the famine was so bad. Kids were cutting their parents and people stomachs open if they just ate some food, to take it. Bodies were laying dead in the streets, they were throwing them over the wall there were so many. We know it is not as bad as the flood obv, everyone but 8 people were killed. It isn't literally the worst thing ever to happen but it was very, very, very bad if you read historians writings on it. Josephus is a Jewish historian who lived through it. Take care. If you want more info on it, I have some notes about the subject.

Josephus Wars 6:4:3, 5:12:3, 5:13:7, 6:1:1, 6:7:2. Josephus said Jews seeked refuge underground and wishing for mountains and rocks to fall on them, wars 3:2:3, 6:9:4, 7:2:1 and others Josephus 5:12:3, part of it: " Then did the famine widen its progress, and devoured the people by whole houses and families. Rev 9:5 "they were not given power to kill them, but to torture them for five months" - Same time as the last siege of Jerusalem which lasted 5 months. According to Josephus this was the most horrible time to be there of the entire war. Wars 5-1-1, 5-1-4, 5-1-5, 5-10-5, 5-12-4, 5-13-6. 5-10-2 Josephus tells us over 500 were crucified in 1 day. They're starving, people are being crucified, the Romans are furious - there is no hope. Wars 5-1-1 " one should not mistake if he called it a sedition begotten by another sedition: and to be like a wild beast grown mad, which, for want of food from abroad, fell now upon eating its own flesh." The distance of the blood flow is 1600 stadium, that is the length of Israel as a Roman province. The distance given happens to be the length of Israel, according to the itinerarum of Antonius of Piasinsa - he says that Palistine length is 1600 stadium. The blood is flowing the length of Israel, Josephus talks about all the blood - many references already given before when talking about the sea of blood. Blood rain down over all the parts of Jerusalem, bodies made it so you couldn't' get to Jordan, The whole city ran down with blood etc.. - from Josephus. @@ttownsupreme2183 Matthew 24-21: 'For them shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.' Can you please explain Matt. 24: 31 regarding the angels gathering the elect from the four winds. I didn't hear the verse addressed in the sermon. Thanks!
M 24:31 'And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.' 3 verses later it says 'Verily I say unto you, This generation shall no pass, till all these things be fulfilled'. The word for angel in M 24:31 in Greek is Angelos - which means 'messenger'. It can mean angelic he can be human. Luke 7:20/24 'When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?' / 24: 'And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?' He shall send his messengers, the gospel ministers to go out in all the world, the trumpet is in relation to the Jubilee (every 50 years all the debts of Israel were forgiven), a symbol of our debts being forgiven in Christ, the ULTIMATE jubilee. The church will go out into all the world and gather the elect from everywhere they're not restricted as the Temple is gone. There is no more one race/nation, one temple, they can go out into all the world and gather people.
I believe the way this is explained , the angels are Christians, preaching to the world and gathering the called elect from all over the world , post resurrection. If I am not mistaken the word for Angels literally means messengers. I hope this helps.
Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
How do you explain the gog magog war that hasn't happened yet I don't remember the jews barring armies from the russia, turkey, syria, iran, Ethiopia, Sudan
OK, I'm convinced. Very good biblical explanation of what revelation is all about. Only question is: about the 7 year covenant made and being broken and the person proclaiming himself God? Was that NERO?
Pretty interesting stuff! Love it! What drew me to this was the Abomination of desolation, I think that's the thumbnail of this video. Still don't get it 100%. One thing I didn't realize was that Nero committed suicide before the temple was destroyed. But it makes sense if you look at that Jerusalem / Babylon verse in revelations.

Loving these sermons on Matthew and am very close to being all in except for two questions: 1) How do we fit 1 Thessalonians and Paul’s mentioning of the gathering together of Christ’s elect and 2) When was the book of Revelation written? Before or after 70ad? Would love Apologia Studios to reply. Thanks
Thanks for the reply, I mention the dating of Revelation because I know there is some division as to its actual date. Will I find this discussion in Gentry’s book? Waiting in anticipation for further sermons on this. Thanks and God bless!!
all books Hebrews-Revelation had to be written before Paul was saved a year after the cross. in Gal 2 Peter James John and Paul exchange gospels and agree they’re teaching different gospels. the apostles would continue to preach Acts 2:38 per direction from Jesus at pentecost. if they knew Paul’s message of grace before they wrote their epistles, they would have been liars for knowing 2 diff gospels and not teaching them. it’s because Jesus would not have 2 gospels of salvation in operation at the same time. IMO they all wrote before Paul who dies about 64AD.

Really excellent Jeff, but the title says its part of a series on Matthew/Kingdom of God but I cant find it?
It was the Roman legions under Vespasian who turned back from Jerusalem. Vespasian had recieved the news that Nero was deposed and he paused his campaign to see what/who was going to happen next - would his legions be needed? Would HE need them for his OWN power-play. As it turned out it was the latter. Once he had established himself as emperor he sent his son Titus back to palestine to finish the job - which they did with horrific efficiency and enthusiasm. Hope this helps as you said you didn't know why they turned back just before destroying Jerusalem the first time round. Vespasian was also known as 'The Muleteer' because his family bred mules. How ironic, then that a man not of noble birth, (Jesus the carpenter) saves the world and the covenant breakers are destroyed by a common man, a muleteer! How awesome is god's symmetry! He uses the apparenty weak and foolish things of this world...........
Interesting. Could this be what is mentioned here in Daniel 11:33-35 ? Could this aid be the providential withdrawing of the armies so that some escaped the city?

Alexander Brown yeah idk dude I just feel like when Jesus talks about the end times when you first read it you’ll know that he’s talking about the end of the world, there’s a lot of scriptures that are picked out to fit the agenda in my opinion but I do enjoy Jeff’s other videos
Anthony Edwards yes and the mark of the beast. I don’t think there was a time in history when you had to take a mark on your right hand or forehead to buy and sell
Cheeky Nonconformist A lot of the scriptures have dual meanings. Both for the immediate listeners and as part of a larger revelation for later. The Old Testament was full of these. Is it possible that Jesus meant both for them at the time of hearing, as well as a later date?
What to do if you are a over the road truck driver ? Who spends 2 to 3 months away from his home terminal. My return address is Anywhere USA. There are an estimated 3.5 million otr drivers.
Before you apply you first must proper interpret. And based on the text, it was something they (Jesus' immediate audience) had to "endure" (Matt 24:13), namely, "false prophets"(11), "inquiry" (12) and "love" waxing cold (12). And as a biblical principle, I've heard it said, a verse can only mean one time at one time, but there can be many applications. Hope this helps
He also said that only the Father knows the day and the hour. So when he was preaching his second coming he was preaching without the foreknowledge of the day and the hour that the Father has.
Laodicea was destroyed around AD 60 by a massive earthquake. John did not write revelation post AD 70 . He would have been writing to a church that was no longer there.
In the Book of Revelation it contains information about the following: THE INTERNAL WITNESS 1. The Jewish temple was still standing and Jerusalem still had not yet been destroyed. John was instructed to measure the temple which is another way of saying that the temple is marked for destruction. Thus, the book was written prior to 70 AD when the temple was literally destroyed completely when all the stones of its foundation were removed (or plowed to recover the gold that melted due to the fire). If it was written in 95 AD John will not fail to mention its destruction since that would affirm the prediction of Christ in the Olivet Discourse and the prediction of Daniel in Daniel Chapter 9. 2. John was instructed not to seal the Book since the events predicted will shortly come to pass (not thousand years henceforth). The events predicted was the terrible things that will happen to the Jewish nation - the vengeance of God against the evil generation of the Jews that rejected and asked Pilate to crucify Christ - "his blood on our hands." The harlot (Jerusalem) will be severely punished for her fornication with the Romans in persecuting the Christians. If the Book was written in 95 AD it is very difficult to imagine that the Tribulation that the Book predicted will happen almost 2 thousand years or more from the time the Book was written when it says that "the time is at hand" and that "it will happen shortly." It will also mean there would be a 3rd temple that must be built in order to be destroyed. Christ has already rendered final judgment to the temple - that it will be desolate until the end of time and never to be rebuilt since he is the new temple. Heaven and earth shall pass away but not Christ's words that the temple is "left unto you desolate." Modern Jews say that the original temple was located where the Muslim Mosque is located while the city of David where the original temple was built is not located there. Clearly there is no way for the third temple to be built ever. 3. John was told that he has more work to do. He could not work further if the book was written in 95 AD as that would mean John would be in his 90's already bedridden due to old age. 4. John wrote the Book of Revelation when the sixth king was reigning. The previous five kings were gone (dead). Nero was the sixth Caesar from Julius Caesar, the first Roman King according to the Jews. The Jews said, "we have no king but Caesar." The seventh king was predicted to reign only for a while and that actually happened to Galba, the seventh Caesar, who was killed after reigning for only few months. According to Roman historians Nero was the worst, being likened to a "beast" in his behavior. His number was also 666 and he sits on the city with 7 hills (city of Rome). It was Nero who ordered Vespasian and Titus to destroy the Jewish nation to punish them for their rebellion. 5. There were only 7 churches in Asia Minor. There should be more if the Book was written in the 90's. 6. When the Book was written, the Christians were dying due to intense persecution. Only during the 60's leading to AD 70 that Christians were severely persecuted. Although persecution still happened at the time of Diocletian in the 90's it was not as intense as that in the latter part of the 60's. This persecution (Tribulation in the land of the 12 tribes) is the theme of the Book of Revelation. 7. The presence of Judaizers who pretend they are Jews but are not. In the 90's with the Jewish nation destroyed they ceased to be a threat to the Christians. Thus, it makes no sense for John to be writing about the threat coming from those false Jews or Judaizers. EXTERNAL WITNESS: Clement of Alexandria says all APOSTOLIC REVELATION ceases after the death of Nero (which happened prior to 70 AD). Clement believes John the Apostle wrote the Book of Revelation
Loved the message, my thoughts were that Jesus was referring to his death and resurrection. I think you mentioned that you do get tattoos? What’s your understanding of this matter according to bible?
Brother.....i too came to this conclusion the other day after listening to an audio book of Josephus on the wars of the Jews...so I subscribed to your channel. But, this troubled me because of this: #1 the 1000yr reign of Yahshua and where are we in it? #2 What about the prophecy of Father restoring Israel as a nation in one day, and the gathering of the Jews from all the nation's of the earth back to Israel? #3 What about the beast, the false profit, and the mark of the beast? #4 Would you be willing to be microchipped when it becomes mandatory, thus rolling the dice with the surety of your theological stand?
Great sermon. A lot to take in if you've been indoctrinated in the premill ways, but stick with it. Your Bible will open like a flood when this hits you.
The answer is simple. Google the meaning of "flight". As in all interpretation of the Scriptures, you must not read 21st century ideas and meanings into the text. How did the original hearers understand the text. Hopefully this will help you.
I have a question. If Jesus has in fact already come as he promised then where is the historical account of armageddon and Jesus slaying the army of Satan and there being so much blood it was up to the horses bridle?
@@khaccanhle1930 where does the bible say there will be horses in armageddon?? The only mention is using the height of a bridle as a description of the depth of blood.
That has not happened yet. The Antichrist and False Prophet, who will make everyone take the Mark is still to come. It will test everyone who claims to be Christian. The love of many will wax cold and fall away.
@@RosannaMiller It already happened in 70AD. Sept 23 is right around the corner, another date setting rapture will prove yet again another false prophet. This kind of stuff does nothing but make Christians look foolish. It also keeps Christians stagnant and tasteless salt, doing nothing but looking up waiting for Him to return having no concern for society or our fellow man, just wishing to leave it. It's pretty clear by society that we have no impact on it whatsoever anymore bc of Antinomianism and Dispensationalism. We certainly are feared no more, and that, leaves us vulnerable to our enemies. Not a good position to be in.
if you remove Paul’s books, the remaining scriptures would have played out as written. what changed that... sanhedrin rejected their Messiah again when they stoned Stephen. there enters the mystery gospel revelation to Paul which included the rapture of the body of Christ. the kingdom was suspended (Rom 11:11) as salvation came to the gentiles. after we are raptured, the end of grace will usher in the tribulation. which was the original plan and the kingdom gospel will reestablish.
Jim Oaks. No offense but my conviction is that Paul was an anti-Christ, a demoniac as an angel of light. He writes much that is true, but he contradicts himself, at other times and contradicts some of Christ's main teachings. You follow the mysteries of Paul instead of the mysteries of Jesus, the Christ, Lord of All.
thenowchurch - too much churchianity? do you think God gave the same message to Adam, Noah, Moses, David, John throughout history? then where’s your ark? do you still sacrifice lambs? observe sabbath? Moses was the conduit of God’s word to His people...Paul is the same conduit today. where do you think Paul got the message? do you really think our Creator would profess the nonsense you suggest? if you don’t get it you’ll be stuck in Acts 2:38 which was set aside 2000 years ago! today...(Eph 4:5) one God, one faith, one baptism 🙏🏼
@@thenowchurch6419 Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom, when he died on the cross, that gospel got postponed till the millinial reign, end of the tribulation. That's what Daniels 70th week is about. The Pauline epistles are about the gospel of grace, that Christ died on the cross for our sins and that because of that we are saved by trusting in his blood for the remission of our sins. You're smarter than most though, I'll give that. Most heretics who preach a works gospel and quote verses from Paul don't see the contradictions. Here's the difference, when Christ is on earth, faith is not needed, the devil is bound, and Christ rules the earth. When Christ left the earth, much faith was needed. That faith is counted for righteousness. Heretics also misconstrue majority of Christ's teachings. They turn discipleship teaching into Salvation conditions. Stay away from them. Listen to Robert breaker, he can help you make sense of this mess. And men make the mess. If you just read the entire Old Testament it makes sense. It's called rightly dividing. There's before and after the cross, and the end of the church age, or fullness of the gentiles.

I LOVE the sounds of children in the background! I wish my own church was like that!

Well you know people are entitled to their own private interpretation . The fact that you’ve never heard this before should tell you it’s wrong .

For people who want a verse by verse in Revelation from a very similar perspective, look up Bruce Gore and his series: Apocalypse in Space and Time.

faistudio has a teaching on this as future that makes just as much sense as this.

5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. Thank you for preaching wisdom and truth
Post mil makes sense and I believe it’s the truth every Christian should hold to.
This video helped get me into partial preterism. As I've continued to study prophecy, I've concluded that full preterism has it correct.
Full preterism and premillennialism treat the analogies of the Kingdom of God the same way…
The Kingdom of God is like a small stone that grows into a mountain and fills all the earth (Daniel 2)
Or a little leaven that grows and permeates the whole loaf (Matthew 13)
Or a mustard seed (the smallest seed) that grows into a large tree (Matthew 13)
Christ must reign until all his enemies are under his feet and THEN the end comes
Psalm 110:2, reign in the midst of your enemies.
These videos are so great. Thank you.

Were you with Paul when he used to tell you these things? And do you personally know what is holding him back, to be revealed at the proper time? The secret power of lawlessness was already at work in the first century, to those who Paul was actually writing to.
And do you seriously think Paul was writing of a future third temple 2000 years in the future? Nonsense. You’re applying Paul’s heartfelt letter to yourself, when it was never meant for you today, in the 21st century.

He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end.
Peace!
Finally, an eschatology that actually makes sense of the text in context!
(Matthew 23:36 Truly I tell you, all this will come on this generation.(AO)

I would love to see a discussion between Jeff and John MacArthur on this very topic of ,'this generation.'
Isaiah 10:5 Oh thank you Lord Jesus I just read this passage last night and realised that God uses the nation's to pass judgment upon his people. What a confirmation. Although I must say I'm concerned about modern Jerusalem/ Israel. Noahide laws and there support of LGBT / a-z lol craziness God is so good, praise Yashua may his kingdom come his will be done
@@Jus4kiks Id love to have access to those notes
@@ttownsupreme2183 Josephus writes they were throwing their dead bodies over the walls because there were so many and no room, dogs and wild animals would eat them. Josephus Wars 6:4:3, 5:12:3, 5:13:7, 6:1:1, 6:7:2.
Josephus said Jews seeked refuge underground and wishing for mountains and rocks to fall on them, wars 3:2:3, 6:9:4, 7:2:1 and others
Josephus 5:12:3, part of it: " Then did the famine widen its progress, and devoured the people by whole houses and families. The upper rooms were full of women and children that were dying by famine: and the lanes of the city were full of the dead bodies of the aged."
Rev 9:5 "they were not given power to kill them, but to torture them for five months" - Same time as the last siege of Jerusalem which lasted 5 months. According to Josephus this was the most horrible time to be there of the entire war. Wars 5-1-1, 5-1-4, 5-1-5, 5-10-5, 5-12-4, 5-13-6. 5-10-2
Josephus tells us over 500 were crucified in 1 day. They're starving, people are being crucified, the Romans are furious - there is no hope. Wars 5-1-1 " one should not mistake if he called it a sedition begotten by another sedition: and to be like a wild beast grown mad, which, for want of food from abroad, fell now upon eating its own flesh."
The distance of the blood flow is 1600 stadium, that is the length of Israel as a Roman province.
Many more, will link Josephus below, fascinating stuff, brutal brutal time..

@@ttownsupreme2183 Matthew 24-21: 'For them shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.'
When people say 1/3 of the population will die during the tribulation. That would be worse on the surface than AD70 b/c around 1million Jews died then. But what about the flood, it took out every single person and animal except the 8 people on the ark and the animals on the ark - which is way worse than 1/3.
Old Testament prophetic language is very hyperbolic.
2 Kings 18-5 "He trusted in the Lord God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him" Talking about Hezekiah
2 Kings 23- "And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to the Lord with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him" Talking about Josiah
It is hyperbolic language building up, saying 'this is a good king'. Exaggeration for dramatic effect.

Can you please explain Matt. 24: 31 regarding the angels gathering the elect from the four winds. I didn't hear the verse addressed in the sermon. Thanks!
M 24:31 'And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.'
3 verses later it says 'Verily I say unto you, This generation shall no pass, till all these things be fulfilled'.
A reed shaken with the wind?'
He shall send his messengers, the gospel ministers to go out in all the world, the trumpet is in relation to the Jubilee (every 50 years all the debts of Israel were forgiven), a symbol of our debts being forgiven in Christ, the ULTIMATE jubilee.
When Jesus said that, He was speaking about that generation and also the generation at the end times just before he comes back. It has a dual meaning

Apologia StudiosRevelation was written in AD 90 while John was in exile on the island of Patmos.
all books Hebrews-Revelation had to be written before Paul was saved a year after the cross. in Gal 2 Peter James John and Paul exchange gospels and agree they’re teaching different gospels. the apostles would continue to preach Acts 2:38 per direction from Jesus at pentecost. if they knew Paul’s message of grace before they wrote their epistles, they would have been liars for knowing 2 diff gospels and not teaching them. it’s because Jesus would not have 2 gospels of salvation in operation at the same time. IMO they all wrote before Paul who dies about 64AD.

How exactly was this fulfilled??

Before you apply you first must proper interpret. And as a biblical principle, I've heard it said, a verse can only mean one time at one time, but there can be many applications. Hope this helps

The actual desolation is in Daniel 11:31-36, for reference.
In the Book of Revelation it contains information about the following:
THE INTERNAL WITNESS
EXTERNAL WITNESS:
Clement of Alexandria says all APOSTOLIC REVELATION ceases after the death of Nero (which happened prior to 70 AD). Clement believes John the Apostle wrote the Book of Revelation

if you remove Paul’s books, the remaining scriptures would have played out as written. what changed that... sanhedrin rejected their Messiah again when they stoned Stephen. there enters the mystery gospel revelation to Paul which included the rapture of the body of Christ. the kingdom was suspended (Rom 11:11) as salvation came to the gentiles. after we are raptured, the end of grace will usher in the tribulation. which was the original plan and the kingdom gospel will reestablish.
@@WAAAAAAAAAAAA.9 Thanks for your comment.
I will take a little time to give a fairly comprehensive answer.
In the meantime, can you tell me if you agree with the Dispensationalist
model taught by people like J.N. Darby and Cyrus Scofield ?
If not, where do you differ with their view ?
Rel Ski - good work here! peace and grace
Does anyone know a church in Italy that’s reformed? I’m in the military and can’t find any here
I wouldn't know, but I would grab some good books. I just read What is Reformed Theology by RC Sproul, very good and informative read.
Wow
I do enjoy your teachings most of the time, I'm so blessed that you stand for truth!!
However, I am dumbfounded that you think we are in the Millennial reign now! How completely foolish is that!!
Satan is not bound! Just watch the news and open your eyes!!
