Love this duo!!! 🎶 ☘ I was lucky enough to enjoy live performance in Dublin Ireland. Memories of which had me seeking out tunes from Zoe Conway which led me here.
Y'all cookin on the bluegrass!! My friend runs the fiddle club (OK Violin club) at a high school where I work and I want to see him try this (he nailed Orange Blossom Special). If I polish my guitar playin a little (er a lot) I can do Johns part! And I am going to ask if he will show this whole concert to his students...they are a wonderful group of kids just full of music and/or inspiration.
Google Translator: Hello, I'm Andreas from Germany. Your music is wonderful. Girls and you are for me the best Gaigen player I know. But the young man on the guitar is also phenomenal. And if you sing in a duet. a dream
I have stumbled into your genius via Julie Fowlis. My ancestry is from Scotland and No. Ireland and my blood comes alive whenever I hear the fantastic jigs, reels and dances you all play so effortlessly. I am writing a SCREEN PLAY about the "Belle of Belfast City", a distant relative and I would love to use your music for part of the soundtrack. This is fantastic music and so, so joyful! Steve from Boston
I love this concert so much - I think I've already listened to it three or four times ^^ Could someone please write down how the song is called that starts @32:42? I'm obviously not a native speaker ^^
Great fiddle playing from Zoe and marvellous guitar work from John; perfect combination, some really beautiful singing too. Much credit due to the "sound" people at Siamsa Tire, there is such clarity in the performance just watching and listening on UA-cam.
Hallo ich bin der Andreas aus Deutschland. Wunderbar eure Musik. Mädchen und du bist für mich die Beste Gaigen Spielerin die ich kenne. Aber der junge man an der Gitarre auch phänominal. Und wenn ihr im Duett singt. ein Traum.
This is an hour and 10 minutes of pure joy! What a treasure. Can't thank you enough. If anyone could tell me the name of the song at 44:44 I'd be super grateful!
@@sheagaier7582 Omg THANK you so much. 😍So kind of you to take the time to reply - I never would have have found it without you. And that too Donegal, the county I'm most intrigued by.😇

What’s the reel starting just before 9:00 called? Love the heigh notes and 3vs4 rhythm!
The Calgary Polka. Very similar to Gillespies Mazurka.
The slide at 50:05 sounds like The Ceanngulla.
