Lived in Govanhill in the late 80s not been back since then. Left Glasgow in 1997 and visited only three or four times since. Thanks for thinking of us. It is bringing back a lot of memories.
Good to see Paddy Neesons is still there. Allinson Street looks a bit different but rougher. Was born in Crosshill in 70's, left in 2000. thanks for posting it
@@ROUTEPLANNERPAUL Modern technology is amazing, 20 years ago we would have paid thousands for something with that type of resolution and quality is now, it's standard on mobile phones, great content, I think we both share a passion for the city... Maybe in 100 years students and historians will use videos like ours as a reference to what life was like in the 2020s
there must be money, look at those huge very expensive homes, yes I think these will bring back memories. Wonder what the area looks like now out towards Huggenfield Loch and Millerston where I used to play when visiting my aunty, there was a cabbage patch and someone told me “Annette the cabbage p@tch was gone years ago it’s all hooses noo LoL
Annette ... I'll get a video for you up that direction soon ...if you can give me a street ill see what I can do for you. Again thankyou for watching my channel
@@ROUTEPLANNERPAUL Station road, Millerston and Cessnock Road both addresses where my aunty lived, brings back memories to me. Across the road from Station Road there was what I thought a boys’ school, but I think it was some sort of home, no idea what it was called. You must love driving Paul you get all over the place , I’ll check them all out as I don’t drive now. All very interesting, I feel as if I’m driving those streets.
I was living in Albert rd. 2001 to end of 2002, thank you for posting.

I am not familiar but there seems to be a lot of tenements in that part, very built up, but again your wee drives fascinate me.
