All of your post this year, I've learned so much. Like it.
Thats what we like to hear. Thanks for the support
Dan, great build! I now own Iron Lotus and it is a phenomenal sled! Have so much fun riding it.
I like your old school take on pipes. I too love the sound of a hot triple or big twin set up.
Hey Dan! I talked to you at in Wisconsin at the West Bend snow show this fall, I told you I loved the videos and you had mentioned you had a lot in store for this year! I’m loving all the content!
I really enjoy my NXT LVL bumper on my Pro. It has saved me damn near every ride pushing up the tree instead of folding into the hood. Maybe one day I'll learn to avoid the trees, but until then I'll keep buying your bumpers.
Great video !
I built almost the same sled end of last And into this season
Very similar Khaos 850 twinned full kit etc. Ride last season like that then this yr went for the the light weight rotating mass machining done to both clutches , carbon primary with Titanium hardware, machined flywheel, brake rotor, went to a custom helix and clutching from Chris At BBA as well as the kirts gear down .
I would say between the clutching , gear down and machining light parts.
It was a massive difference !!!!
I actually raced few Silber tuned new ski doo 850 turbos and pulled away from them .
It’s so ridiculous how nasty and rippy it is and by far the best sled I’ve ever ridden hands down..
I also like that you Have
a fleet of Khaos sleds, I’ve been saying since last yr that I think it’s the easiest sled to teach someone on.
Since it’s soo responsive to rider input ..
Keep the Rad vids coming brother !!!
Loving the channel
I'm my book, your stock went to the NXT LVL when you started talking about being old school with twin pipes!!
Love the sled! Love the demo video (good job bro)
Great build. Spent half day on a Khaos in Island Park this year & hated it compared to my Pro. My type of riding I enjoy most is technical tree riding & the Khaos was not efficient. With the addition of Fox/Burandt shocks on my Pro I can get just the right amount of ski lift if set on the soft setting.
Wow beautiful sled !!!
Thanks Steve
Hey Dan awesome video
Watching all your video before on the twin pipes I bit the bullet and got them myself
They have been awesome love the power and sound
I’ve rarely had some small blips or an engine light come on after long hard pulls but turning the engine off and on turns it off
Anything you have come across?
Great looking sled.
Thank you
Would love to hear your input on more detail how the IceAge spindles impacted the sled.
For sure, once we have more time on them we can get into that.
Would like to hear a video of your thoughts just based on performance of stock versus having all the lightweight rotating parts and how different or better it is
Hey Dan, can you put on a clinic for us SAR guys on how to get suited up and ready to ride as fast as you just did? 😉
Nice job on all the videos....Jake and I have picked up some great tips as we learn how to ride “smarter”.
Still like that shop
Really cool man!
Sick sled Dan
Thanks buddy
Frickin beauty!!! I’ll buy it off you once GME!! 🚀 💎 🙌🏽
Awesome sled. Those pipes weigh very much ? And do they make titanium pipes to help with some weight loss
I really wish you could dyno that sled, so we could see how the changes and twin pipes changed the power band, to see the increased mid level torque represented in a graph.
That would be really interesting to dyno it. We will look into it for future videos.
My next sled will be a Khaos!!
Really fun body language when you speak. Like a getto robot or something
Doesn't the skinz front end Raise it up by 1 inch also making it basically the same as the elevate?
How do u set it up for a smaller person shock wise with the clickers and smaller break lever
I’m buying one when i have enough money🤩
How do you buy a wrap that fits on the skins hood? Is there a option on there page?
Zip ties all the same way definitely sounds like a CDO problem. You should build up an old Polaris Ultra with a set of triple pipes just to hear the great sound of a triple again.
haha for sure buddy
Do you guys build sled for a client if i wanted a top build from you is there a possibility ? thanks love the channel
Yeah for sure
Do you have any issue with side panels melting?
Очень круто!
All I wanted is to hear you fire it up :(
You said you like the playfulness of the tipped up rails and longer center shock of the Khaos, but you changed to whole skid frame, does that new skid frame have similar characteristics to the Khaos skid frame? Otherwise it’s about the same as the Pro?
It's the same Khaos skid setup, just in a 165 with a 155 tunnel. Basically a tunnel cut without cutting the tunnel
@@rylanpickett9683 what I was asking was if the new Ice Age rails (different than the stock Khaos skid frame) have the same tipped upfront as the Khaos, I don't think you understood my question.
@@nicholascote8469 IceAge makes Khaos style rails
@@rylanpickett9683 Perfect, that's what I was trying to figure out. Thanks!
Do you know if you can snowcheck a 155 tunnel with a 165 track?
Not at the moment. All MY21 Polaris machines have matching length tunnels.
what's your opinion on tunnel cuts?
I think he pretty much explained that in this video.
Can I ride it LoL 😂.... So sick....
"not getting fatiqued"
: me with a 250kgs dry 600😑😅
Why not put the twin pipes with a calrs cycle 900
That would be cool, not sure if thats possible though
Follow Keith Curtis 711 his hill climbing sled has a Carl’s 900 with twin pipes.
ski doo vs polaris which is best and why
Depends on the rider
He would say polaris because he rides for them but you cant go wrong with any of them there all good
Thats an easy one..Polaris
Whats the difference between this mod and last years?
Its very similar to the one we built last winter for sure.
Outstanding sled dude!!!! Shop looks awesome 👊
If those elevate spindles are anything like the ones they make for Cat they’re horrible. With added spindle height comes added ski pressure. Will never put anything “elevate” on my sleds again. Twin rail, mono rail both had same results.
Interesting, why exactly does it add pressure? I would think the rear of the sled would need to be adjusted to match the raise in front. I can see how going up in front would be similar to having too much pressure on the rear track shock, which yes would drive an increased pressure to the skis. Have you tried adding preload to the front track shock and/or decreasing preload to the rear shock to bring the track back to more level trajectory?
@@Andy-wo9bm the rear skid is dropped to match the height of the spindles “per Iceage instructions” and yes I tried everything including wasting time emailing, phone conversations, video etc. with Iceage tech. As far as preload goes they can’t even give you a baseline for suspension settings! Yet they sell suspension components! Unreal! Never again! Glad it works for the guys who get paid to say how great it is!
IRON LOTUS = sounds like some sort of sexual position for county lockup. HAHAHAHA Mad respect Dan. P.s. Talk about the 2000s-2010s more! Lets see some old iron?
Ouf of context but, you remind me soo much of the swedish cross-country skier Anders Blomquist, haha! Here is a clip of him: ua-cam.com/video/wwEclkVGFfg/v-deo.html
Love the channel btw!
