Awesome video Dan!!! This was SUPERRRR HELPFUL! I've been contemplating all season how to proceed forward with fitting out my sled and this video dropped a ton of knowledge bombs! Gonna just do the essential mods to prepare for next season: lightweight rotating assemblies, maybe a big bore kit and possibly look at upgrading shocks. If I was a guide or had the ability to ride every day then I'd probably go turbo and full lightweight disease but for my situation and riding east coast, I think I got a good plan for next season! Sad that this winter was kinda weak on this coast but just means that next year will be better! Shred on Dan & Team Nxt Lvl, keep the content COMING!!!
Man, You sure got a trio of insane Siiiick Sledz! Beautiful machines. Would love to own just one lol. Very nice instructional video. Thanks for listing the builds.
Most important thing for me that isn’t part of the list is I need a headlight. I ride through the day into night a lot of the time. Light is a must have.
We have done auxiliary LED headlights in the past but these days we carry a small battery powered LED headlamp for a worst case scenario. The stock headlights are probably the best option for night riding.
Nice video, just wanted to point out that the Boondocker Agility kit complete with venting and clutching and the adjustable control box will run you 7-8k not the 5 grand that Dan says in the video. Maybe you guys get special pricing but for us average joes that’s what you’ll spend.
The base Agility kit is $4900 and like you say you can add options from there. All the specific prices are available here. www.boondockers.com/index.php/shop/snowmobile?manufacturer=129&year=519&model=448

7:11 ish, just wondering why two pipes are lighter than one? Does this have to do with a can over silencer? Are two after market pipes lighter than one stock? Thanks. Great video as usual.
Twisting Iron Yes, they are each smaller than the stock single pipe. They also had HP, which is why every pro open snocross team has used twin pipes. Oh yeah and they sound sick
Hey, boost is a measure of resistance if you’ve got a little turbo running 10psi and a bigger one running 5 that bigger turbo could make more power att psi then the little guy at even 15
You should work ti build a complete bolt kit that will utilize 1 or 2 sizes for torx head fasteners and external torque head screws…4 tools in your pack….get rid of thst weight
Awesome video Dan! Sweet builds this year. If you could only have 1 club in the bag what would you build to ride every day? And what happened to the Caliber banner in the shop? 😁
What is the biggest differences you notice between the stock 7" handle bars and running the 5" with one inch cut off on each side? It seems like everyone always wants taller bar heights.
Will polaris ever make a 4 stroke. I would like to see it. I've been a Polaris guy since I started snowmobiling in 09 with my 04 pro-xr with a 600 liberty swap into it. After a few sleds this year I wanted to go with a 4 stroke for the hp. I got a Yamaha with a bunch of mods that I could write a short story on but I want to have the longevity of a 4stroke and see other companies force each other to one up the weight reduction and hp gains from their models.
I don't think it will happen, what the market wants is what manufacturers do, and what the large majority of the market wants is a lightweight nimble sled and that's just not what a 4 stroke does
I just bought a 2000 polaris xc700sp it has slp twin pipes boost bottle vforce3 reeds from what im reading online now is you gotta change jets out all the time with varying temperatures is this true?I'm not really in to tuning everytime i wanna ride but I don't want to burn my sled up I want something reliable as I ride with my girlfriend and her kids and my daughter...also can I run 91 or 93 in this with these pipes the guy I got it from said yes but I want to make sure I hope I didn't get in over my head with this sled and have to trade it to someone thats more knowledgeable
Conman0320 Speedwerx makes supercharger kits for Polaris and Arctic. I prefer a turbo because I can fluctuate the HP as the turbo isnt caught up with the engine. A supercharger gives you no lag and 200+ HP with a tap of the throttle. Its a little too much, just my opinion though.
Progressive power is better for most people/conditons superchargers are more snappy and turbos dont have another belt to blow. Plus superchargers generally cap on power journal bearing turbos just keep spinning as fast as the exhaust will push em. Turbos are arguably more reliable than supers too.
Hey bud thanks for watching! We didn’t have any issues with the kit. Just followed the installation and allowed everything to dry completely before starting the sled. Worked great!

I love RMK's, extremely fun sleds and very easy to throw around, but someone has to admit they're not the most reliable machines. The highest mileage RMK I've seen that's never been rebuilt had 4500km on it. That's not a lot of mileage for the average rider lol. Maybe you guys just got lucky with yours and they lasted longer, but I've never seen a reliable RMK. And a turbo is gonna cut that reliability down too. Those sleds are so much fun but I couldn't justify one because of how often it would need new top end parts lol
A new 850 rmk is about 14-15k out of the box…and if I had to guess with all the after market parts I’d guess each one of those sleds are anywhere from 30-35k maybe even more…and that’s without labor. Also this is their job and are sponsored by all of the brands they used to build these sleds so they probably get them for next to nothing. Did like how he wasn’t trying to sell the products but just explained what everything could do and the differences between them which I really appreciated.
@@jonathanabreu7601 yea, my bad... I just can't get over how cheap sleds are in america... 14-15k for a 850 rmk, while here in norway it's just about 22k, for a standard 850 rmk... and if you wanna count in all the aftermarkets mods, you can probably take the price and raise it with maybe 25% or something around that

Nothing like the reliability of an air aspirated engine. Love the brown twin pipe one. I priced it out and it came to $170,900 can. $9,375 us.
You know I’m not a Polaris rider but this is very informative and those sleds look sick

Carls 910 on nitrous was such a fun motor….the chassis weren’t there yet. Until the iq440 with the 910 and that was fun!
I'm just trying to save up for an old pro from like 11' haha

The engine can only “pump” so much air through it. And that is the resistance that creates boost pressure in the intake.
