I get rain. I made character cutouts a few years ago. Used multiple coats of paint before painting the figures and then used a spray sealer. I didn't have a problem the first year, so I put them back out the next without additional sealer. Mistake. Had to re-glue, clamp and putty the separated plywood layers, in spite of the multiple layers of high quality exterior paint. Seal both sides and edges with a few layers of transparent sealant, or you'll have to make new ones frequently.

Thank you for ,sharing once again . I had my mother inlaw watch your Snowman video last night. Really liked it. She said, a very cool idear. I told her he's got more
My favorite part of this video is the night part, near the beginning. To me it looked like someone was in a car in the background admiring the yard. I used to have all kinds of lights & decorations (none homemade), most automated (a large waving santa in a sleigh with moving, flying reindeer was my favorite). I loved people coming down the street just to see my home & driving slowly by to show it to their kids. Then one year, years ago, some obnoxious twits in the neighborhood destroyed all my decorations shortly after Christmas & in turn it destroyed my will to decorate. I love watching all these decorations, Halloween; Christmas or any holiday, being made though! Maybe some day I'll decorate again.
I can completely understand how vandalism might have taken your Christmas spark. There’s nothing worse than having your property destroyed or stolen. I’m sorry you had to experience that. I would be very heartbroken if that ever happened to me. I do hope that my videos bring a little bit of Christmas cheer to you. Merry Christmas and I’m glad to have you here
I was thinking that it could be made to fit within the height of the garage door opening. And run some 1/4 inch eyelet lags straight up into the header. And just leave them in to hang it from pretty easily every year.

Gorgeous. So is mine. It's only 3' but beautiful. Thank you. I used 2 pool noodles for the wreath frame and cut out foam board (which turned out not so sturdy) then had to go purchase hula hoops to make a frame instead.
I would suggest using the screws all the way around the wreath to anchor the lights to so that there are no lights hidden from view on the back. This will also help save money because it will use less strands of lights.
WOW!!!!! You did it again. It's sooooooo beautiful. This is definitely on my todo list for next Christmas. Right now I'm busy working on a couple of the other projects you shared. OUTSTANDING job! Thank you for sharing.

I love this idea. I think I'd like to try making one half the size and putting it on my shed. A 4' wreath is still an impressive scale. I wonder if making a 4' wreath would be light enough to hang on the double shed doors with 2 wreath hangars? That way I wouldn't have to drill directly into the shed to hang it.
I’m glad you love this idea. My only issue is the plywood is heavy and a 4 foot wreath would still be somewhat heavy. Screwing allows for it to be very secure
Love this ginormous wreath. Just a suggestion - if you want to save on the # light strands, use the screws around the whole perimeter of the frame, that way you're cutting down on the # of strands since you're not wrapping them from the back to the front. You're really talented!
U know it subscribers so well😂😂😂 00:51. I really luv da tips u have in da brick and screws. If u did it on da whole thing it might even save u on how many lights u use.
I made a giant wreath from pool noodles, 300 feet of garland, 250 feet of lights and I hung it by myself. It was hard because I hung the top of it on 3 bicycle hooks because it was so wide, due to using pool noodles it was flimsy and would not keep the round shape so I tied each corner off and secured it to the beams on my front porch and it came out perfect and I have the largest wreath in town now.
Wow! that's beautiful! and stunning! 🎄 I know it's not the right season for that, yet, but.... while watching you construct this, I kept thinking of using a similar method, to make a rainbow, for a St. Patrick's Day Display. .... but I couldn't figure out what to use for the colours (other than paint).🌈🍀 Merry Christmas.

Rather than irregular cut plywood to attach the two arches, perhaps consider using hinges in order to fold the piece for easier storage.
