I grew up in the streets, the streets raised me and made me a gangster, I was a blood, I sold dope. Been in shoot outs, fights, in and out of jail since age 17, I robbed people and got robbed. I was a drunkard, fornicator, I use to club and pop pills, but i had a encounter with JESUS while in jail facing 5-10 years.. and JESUS made me over again at age 23.. 8yrs later hallelujah I'm still free and born again, JESUS a mighty deliverer bless his Holy name

My dad fell 25ft off of a building almost two years ago. The doctors don’t know how he lived. He used to be an alcoholic. He’s sober now and disabled, but alive. My mom has also been disabled her entire life. The doctors also told her she would never be able to walk or have kids, but here I am, her oldest daughter and aspiring attorney, writing this. God is great.

I stumbled across this song while my mother was on the ventilator, when the doctor told me there was no more options but to let her go. Gut wrenching, and every feeling I could possibly feel at that moment no word could explain. I knew she was listening and all I could do was play music to let her know God was with her. I played this song knowing how fitting it was at that moment. Years later (5 to be exact)who knew I would experience more pain and face challenges that God Himself could bring me through. This morning filled with tears and praise in the midst of my troubles, this song was a way of God speaking to me. No matter what life will bring God is and will always be with us.

*Can somebody anybody just pray for me I suffer everyday from from depression. I was shot 6 times and had my lung removed. I live with a Trach and everyday is struggle. It's a struggle to see how something so terrible could happen to someone so spirital. I honestly feeling like just giving up and not being here. But seeing how suicide effected my family once before I hold on and get through it. I have lost friends I've lost what little life I had and I feel so empty I just hope that when I wake up the next day will be better than the next but it never is. But all I need is a prayer and when I want to give up I listen to this song for comfort*

I became a Christian sometime last year but I haven't been to church in so long just passing threw here to listen to amazing music God bless
make sure you go back. I know/have heard of people who left too long and came back possessed or in poor shape. It's important to be in the house. I personally recommend an apostolic/pentecostal church but choice is up to you. Just i find in the baptist and catholic doctrines a lot of corruption and inconsistency. Wish you luck on your journey though.

This song never fails to give me goosebumps when Mrs. Tamela Mann sings it. Because, let's face it, we've all felt tired. We've all felt weak. We've felt pain of all types. At times we don't even want to get up, feeling like there's no reason. But we wake up, we get up. It's not us that's waking up though. It's God waking us up so that we can see what He has created for us. If it was left up to us we wouldn't be able to stand and fight. But that's when Jesus comes in remind us that He has already fought for us. All we have to do, is stand. For many of us out there, standing is not something we can do so that's why I listen to this music because, while I may not be able stand, I at least can be lifted by their voices and music and words. May God bless everyone with His healing hands and for those ready to go home with the Lord, may God give those who will still be here the strength and comfort in knowing they are in a much better place than we could only imagine.
