It's stupid though. Up until that point she showed sense. As if she just suddenly morphed into Dewey or Abbott who both had reason to want Bourne dead to protect themselves. The whole thing of her character up until that point is that she looks for another way to deal with problems. Instead she just turns into Dewey v2 the moment she gets a chance to do her victory lap and take another step up the ladder. Had she been more cautious (given Bourne's history of tailing and monitoring Landy in NYC) then she would have kept any such thoughts to herself outside of a CIA SCIF.
I may not love this movie, in terms of story, but GOD do I love this final scene! Bourne’s essentially letting her know “I know you’re trying to play me. It won’t work. You try to come after me, you’ll fail.”

Just finished the whole Jason Bourne movies tonight and I can say this is the best way to end the franchise. Whatever the CIA does, Bourne is always a step ahead of them. This last scene was a huge slap in her face 🤣
For a bunch of spies that are supposed to be smart and one step ahead of everyone, they never understood Jason. You can try to kill him but he has an annoying habit of not dying and will expose your operations. At the same time, you can't recruit him after trying to kill him multiple times and betraying him multiple times. The best way to deal with Bourne is to just...LEAVE HIM ALONE.
It's the arrogance of people who are used to finding all the secrets and using people as they choose. They can't accept that Bourne knows all their tricks and games, and is better at them than they are.
I enjoy this final scene because at the start of the movie it very much comes across as he's hiding from the government but in this scene it reminds the audience that he is the predator, not the prey

His amnesia was his own conscience no longer being able to live with what he had been doing. He froze when he was supposed to assasinate Wombosi; yes, primarily because Wombosi's children were there, but he had no heart for it any more. And no way the Agency would ever have just left him exit a free man, even if they had know what was going on with him.

They also both regret their past lives and want a peaceful existence, but circumstances keep pulling them back in.

They should make at least one more film in this series with both Damon and Jeremy Renner in it. And they should also make sure Nicky Parsons is in it to. If you've experienced the Bourne Stuntacular at Universal Studios Florida, we learn that Nickey survives in this film but just isn't shown how.

In the pre-show, Nicky is shown to still be alive and even says "Jason believes I'm dead and it's best for all purposes that he keeps on believing that". So should there come a time when a new sequal comes out, they'll probably explain to us how that is.

I have to say that I really love more the Jason Bourne movies more than the James Bond movies, at least the Jason Bourne movies not pretend that CIA and the U. S. government are the heroes, at contrary, they always show as the villains in the story, Greengrass is the new Verhoven, and this movie had the same reception as Starship Troopers, the U. S. not like the idea when movies goes against the U. S. isn't the good guy by definition.
I absolutely LOVED the ending on how Jason Bourne played that two-faced CIA heifer into trusting him and burned her at her own game. It was something about her from the beginning to the end of the movie that I just DID NOT LIKE about her and she showed her true colors at the end and Bourne slapped her n her deceitful face. I LOVED IT. Jason Bourne is the man when it comes to espionage.
He was the first one they brought into the program. They made him into a serious human weapon. The guy is basically like a whole team of surveilence and special op activities.
My understanding is he basically costs hundreds of millions to create, if not more. Basically a mind controlled super soldier, so yeah, unimaginable resources to train and mold something like him.

In the pre-show, Nicky is shown to still be alive and even says "Jason believes I'm dead and it's best for all purposes that he keeps on believing that". So should there come a time when a new sequal comes out, they'll probably explain to us how that is.
@@mitchellries256 I didnt even know that there was an attraction on Orlando, I only watched the movies, and it funny that Universal Studios do an attraction about Jeson Bourne seeing how anti-CIA is, maybe they didnt see part were vert explicit show the CIA killing their own citizens.

There are scenes thar i love watching in bourne series. This is one amonst them.
The problem with clever people, sometimes they overestimate their own cleverness, and forget that other people can be clever too.
Jason Bourne learned the hard way to never underestimate anyone, never take anything for granted or at face value, and to always watch his back. As Natasha Romanov would say, that's a bad way to live, but a good way to not die.

I have to say that I really love more the Jason Bourne movies more than the James Bond movies, at least the Jason Bourne movies not pretend that CIA and the U. S. government are the heroes, at contrary, they always show as the villains in the story, Greengrass is the new Verhoven, and this movie had the same reception as Starship Troopers, the U. S. not like the idea when movies goes against the U. S. isn't the good guy by definition.
After all the crowd camera & facial recognition stuff, hard to imagine Bourne can disappear if they *really* want to find him.
I absolutely LOVED the ending on how Jason Bourne played that two-faced CIA heifer into trusting him and burned her at her own game.
It was something about her from the beginning to the end of the movie that I just DID NOT LIKE about her and she showed her true colors at the end and Bourne slapped her n her deceitful face. I LOVED IT.
Jason Bourne is the man when it comes to espionage.
He was the first one they brought into the program. They made him into a serious human weapon. The guy is basically like a whole team of surveilence and special op activities.
My understanding is he basically costs hundreds of millions to create, if not more. Basically a mind controlled super soldier, so yeah, unimaginable resources to train and mold something like him.
