That cross really turned out beautiful Cy and I'm proud of you to tackle those dreaded interior cuts! If you have a router mat, they work great to keep things from sliding. That might help keep the scroll saw in place but I imagine you'll go back to using your Hegner most of the time. Oh yes, I remember your little shop from years ago. You've sure come a long way since then my friend! It's wonderful that you can use your laser for putting the pattern on the wood......great idea!

I do have a mat and didn't even think about putting it under the saw, the pipe clamp worked well though! But thanks for the idea!
I pressed on and got them inner cuts done! And the result was worth it! Yes, mostly will use the Hegner!

Hi Cy, maybe you already do, but I use a counter sink on the back of the pattern
after I have drilled my holes to give me a easy to see and find place to thread the blade.
