    PODOBA MI SIĘ TO, CO ROBISZ. Pracując na szlifirce należałoby zakładać maseczkę przeciwpyłową a najlepiej gdyby stanowisko pracy było wyposażone w instalację wyciągającą pył powstający przy cięciu i szlifowaniu. SZKODA ZDROWIA.

    I'm a beginner. Why is the backer board necessary?

    • @CysCorner
      @CysCorner  4 роки тому

      @MrSpanky2001 The pieces need to be attached to something to hold it together, that is what the backer is for. :)

    love the colours Cy, I use painters tape on the wood before gluing pattern on with glue stick, then it just peels straight off, easy peasy.

    • @CysCorner
      @CysCorner  7 років тому +1

      +1958linedancer Painters tape, hadn't heard of that one :) Thanks! Do you make intarsia???

    • @1958linedancer
      @1958linedancer 7 років тому +2

      yes I have done a half a dozen Intarsia pieces but nothing too elaborate, you can also use any type of tape on the wood under the pattern, I use the painters tape as it is easy to get off the roll and then peel back off the work piece. It also acts as a lubricant for the blade on your scrollsaw

      I have heard this tip from 3 different people now, so I tried it with blue tape. It was amazing and I will do it like this from now on. That means my tutorial is already out of date! haa haaa!!!!!

    Hey CY, I see on the websitem they call the drum sander you use a pneumatic "The Woodtek® Combination Pneumatic Drum Sander and Flap Sander" Buuuuuut penumatic is defined as containing or operated by air or gas under pressure. Am I missing something?

    • @CysCorner
      @CysCorner  6 років тому

      Hello, the drum is filled with air and gives a cushion sanding surface. I used to call it my pneumatic sander but now I try to say pneumatic drum sander since it has caused some confusion. It is an awesome sander :)

    Hi Cy love what you do. Have you ever tried gluing the pattern to some thin wood like ply for example, then cutting the pieces out after carefully drawing around each individual part. Then cut out on the scroll saw so that you just draw around each part of the saved wooden pattern on any mix of wood for your project. My neighbour does it that way and he must have 40+ patterns now. Hope you don't mind my question.

    • @CysCorner
