I purchased the Grave Digger Nemesis I think that was the best shovel in their lineup 36" is the minimum I would use. The Nemesis is a Beast I use it like a Machete in some to wooded areas I'm in

Did you make a part 2 showing the diggers in the field? I would like to see how the grave digger hand digger does since it such a different design from what is typical.

How's the gd hand digger? I am interested in them because of the custom sheath, but I dont actually like the way they look? Do they feel good digging holes?

I am 250lbs and never have bent my lesche Sampson. I am not easy on my gear. But glad to see them side by side. Now I know the grave digger is to big for yard hunting. Homeowners get scared over bigger shovels. Lol. GL&HH

You would never use either of these shovels in someone's yard, or at a park. These are field and woods shovels. I'm glad you haven't bent your Lesche - yet. ; )

I'm about the same weight as you guys (260) and I bent my Lesche Sampson fairly early on. Admittedly, I was prying up a rock to get to a target but I had no fear of the Sampson bending based on the reviews I read. I'm glad Terry mentions it so that others might be a bit more careful than I was.

Also grave digger makes a snub nose about the same size and still as strong as the nemesis. I prefer the next level up the tombstone.

Im wondering where you got the shovel for that price because I just seen them for 87 on a site, the geometry of the metal would make it very strong
