Everybody says 'busy beavers' and whatnot, but once I had the rare opportunity to watch a beaver in the wild work on his dam. He'd find a stick and press it carefully into the structure, then goof off for like 5 minutes just swimming around in circles, before slowly meandering to find another stick, install it, and then take another swimming break. The breaks weren't him looking for sticks either, he knew where to find them as soon as he was done swimming. So cute.
This is awesome, honestly marvelous tower, the suspension bridge looks amazing, it gave me an idea, maybe as a suggestion you build four districts and each one gets a tower, a slim one, doesn't have to be wide, and the four towers built in the four corners of a lake can have only suspension bridges connecting them, nothing else unless absolutely needed, a suspension bridges galore, also would love to see some more lake exploding expansions in water storage, thank you for the cool content :D
Something interesting about the district center: it only goes up a couple levels for the 8 tiles around the edge. Only the middle tile extends for another couple levels above that. Metal platforms allow you to build over other structures. You know what to do.
A tip for the lumber area. Build canals and put platforms on them, then path over that. You spread the green and space efficient for more trees. Saw this on another channel and it looks good. :)
I counted in map creator, 30 levels from the absolute base. You can blast down 4 levels usually so you can go up 25 levels from ground level. The only way you could extend your district for higher would be if your staircase was wrapped around the district center and your housing was around that.
Kibz, your channel is a blessing and a curse upon my life. A blessing because your content brings me so much happiness, and a curse because I keep spending money on these really cool games you play!
Well done! There’s a button in the top right that will let you cut through visual levels so you can see inside your tower to decorate it. Tower looks like a satisfactory structure! Can you try and run power to the roof for a tier 3 awe statue?
whenever i do mega projects in any game i always end doing way more than i need to to actually start the project. for example 2 days ago i decided to do an odd mega project in Timberborn. i wanted to flood the entire map except where i need a river and places to plant trees and food. it ended with me covering a quarter of the map in a massive power grid do to the sheer number of lumber mill, gear workshops ect, so i could get the materials i needed as fast as i could cause im impatient. it always looks like a hideous mess. i like how your mega projects tend to look pretty good
Some of the beavers living at the bottom will never see the light of day :,( They get born, go to work in the factories, die of hunger when kibitz messes up... Only the lucky ones get sent to the top and have the chance to relax on a rooftop terrace
You could also put a district gate on both side of the bridge, the beavers still should be able to cross over since they are able to go past a gate for gathering stuff.
To have a lot of verticality (and actually working), you'll need to put another district center higher up, with some gates inbetween, and distribution posts/drop off points. If you use the metal platforms, you can build over buildings which normally would not allow buildings on top of them (like district center, building hut, haulers post or actually all the industry buildings). Though metal is non-renewable (and these eat a lot of metal), so you need to plan that out properly.
Since you went to the max height of the world, you should use all those explosives to reach the maximum depth of it too. Maybe turn lake sippy into a "big gulp"?
You should create a lake up stream of lake sippy that’s super deep and that loops around to join with the artificial river you made through the new district
Cool. I wondered when that was going to happen. The way things worked, it seemed there was some potential to go vertical. Funny there's a height limit to the district center... Now can you satisfy all the demand bars with whatever can be built in the remaining space?
That's impressive. The biggest I've built is one building that holds 162 beavers. And two other districts each have an 81. All pushing capacity, I need to build more.
Pretty sure you can build even higher if you use explosives to go down first. I've done some small tests where you stack the small storage on top of eachother and if you do it somewhere where youc an go 1 tile up, then you will see they are even height, but if you count the number of buildings, the one on the lower grounds will be 1 more. Though, as you pointed out.. you will likely have the issue of the roading being outside of the district :P
That would make the building taller relative to ground level, but it seems the map limit is relative to "sea level" It might be simpler to just say the height limit works like the build height limit in minecraft. You could dig down to bedrock and build up from bedrock to the limit and that will be a taller building that anything build on the surface grass blocks, but the max Y height is the same no matter where the bottom is.
In regards to the district's path limit for tall buildings, you may have to get a little creative and build half a beaver sky scraper from a temporary distract on the ground, then once you start getting close to the end of the distract range, create a new district building so that way it's range extends both down partially and up partially. The only issue I see with this is that placing a distract so far up a tall building means the population wouldn't be too useful unless you ran power up the building also and used haulers to import and export good manufactured in the skyscraper because the district would only be able to cover the building itself. Functionality would be extremely limited, but you don't make beaver skyscrapers for functionality, you make them for coolness.
@@firefly2472 they need that connection, do a test see if its changed, it was over a week ago now i played. 1 building 1 wheel and check the power that building is receiving, add another wheel with no connection and check how much power the system now offers ur building, add a connecter and try again to see if any diff
not sure if anyone thought of this yet, but why don't you blow up all your current paths and replace them with platforms? This would increase the amount of water through out your play area, and you wouldn't have to compromise any other fertile ground by running the rivers next to your paths.
So, what insane creative project should we work on next?
You could make a big fancy-looking breeding area to actually fill the lodges
You should suppord the other districs with lake sippys wealth
find out how deep can you go
Underground district
A pit to the depths of the world, filled with industry up to the sky.

i cant wait to see what lets game it out will do if this if he plays this game.
Yes i can't wait to.
Yeah
fun times lol
Let's game it out in this game: I have leveled entire map with explosives
Whatever he ends up doing, Will almost certainly leave kibbs in tears.
This random messy process was so unlike kibz and yet the end result looks great!
He is being corrupted by josh.
So messy
Dude, you built a beaver arcology.
Indeed

What a mess.
I love it.
I wanna live in a complex as messy and labyrinthine as that.

or you could add a district center on top and keep going
might be hard to make a new district on top of a tower survive
@@thecondiffs nope, the 30 levels is world cap on height, not a district path cap.
Imagine if they added elevators to the game lol! So many stairs all over the place. Great video

And i am soooooo happy that he uploaded another timberborn vid

It's almost like Metropolis!
I love the great Beaver Lodge!
You could also put a district gate on both side of the bridge, the beavers still should be able to cross over since they are able to go past a gate for gathering stuff.
I like the amount of character your district has.
Kibz = Infinite creativity
You could deferentially simply have the district gate at the Logtropolis side. Where it connects is a perfect spot! 12:41

Dooood! Infinity tower looks baller!
Blast a giant hole in the ground as far down as you can go, and build a giant underground storage area
very nice! you can put the district gate on the other side of the bridge, that should fix the path in lake sippy
lake sippy such a good name for the lake it has all the sippy juice they need
Cyberpunk megablocks now coming to timberborn! I love the look of beaver high-rises in this game!
In the next megaprojects you should blow the land first so you can use maximum amount of space available
Loved the vid Kibitz! Thank you!
@ImKibitz - EFFICIENCY TIP: build platforms over farming river and build paths on that. gives you all of your paths back as crops.
love your content man always looking forward to your uploads
Thank you man, glad you enjoy!
Yo Kibitz, I can’t wait till the next Timberborn episode, I’m really into this series
Hey @ImKibitz there is a setting that unlocks your camera. You can have the camera stay in whatever position you left it in
Oh my god. I ran out of beaver puns so long ago. How in the world did I miss Beaverly Hills?
I love how he plays this game like satisfactory lol
I love your videos Kibitz, each one of your videos make my day! thanks for help bringing me up from my lows.
This series made me buy the game such a exiting wait for the next episode
BEAUTIFUL!

Sounds like a great name and would go well with the theme.
i got a real spirited away vibe from this kind if building
Making a lake AS DEEP AS POSSIBLE!!!
Kibz:1400 explosives!!!
Also Kibz: so anyway I started blasting...
Beaverpunk City 2077 :D... very interesting shape.. looks like a beaver version of mega building in cyberpunk.
you should make a lake as deep as you can, just kind of want to see if you can blow a hole in the bottom of the map
your water irrigation columns can be wooden planked and pathed, so paths don't need to take up farm and woodland.
Would be cool to see a big building like that that is its own district xD
You should create a lake up stream of lake sippy that’s super deep and that loops around to join with the artificial river you made through the new district
There is a creative mod for this game.
ImKibitz you should play a moded version with the creative mod and see what you can build!
Ermine those beaver house skyscrapers looks taller then all of the building in venturium.
Cool. I wondered when that was going to happen. The way things worked, it seemed there was some potential to go vertical. Funny there's a height limit to the district center... Now can you satisfy all the demand bars with whatever can be built in the remaining space?
You should dig a hole to the bottom next to your sky box tower
i think those bench on top can be reached by bulding zig zag stairs that only had one corner, you can build it behind your apartment
The hive city must grow. The Imperium would be proud.
oh wow that looks so much cooler than that mess from before :D
infinity lodge did NOT disappoint
those beavers really need an elevator for that monster tower
That's impressive. The biggest I've built is one building that holds 162 beavers. And two other districts each have an 81. All pushing capacity, I need to build more.
you can combine the two gates at 14:35 into one as they both lead to the Sippy Lake District
the infinity lodge looks like a big hotel and i would live in it
i can tell you've been enjoying this game
*@**14:50* You could’ve simply built the district gate on the other side of the bridge.
damn, this looks so cool!
This structure is starting to become the Walled City of Kowloon of Timberborn.
Wait....does that mean you can build another District ON TOP of the Buildings?!
That would be awesome!!!!
This game is so friking good.
The tower needs to be dubbed the Space Dam.
"Cannot build any higher!"
(But you can build lower... How low can you blow the ground before you start building up?)
theres 2 things i really want the devs to add, 90° stairs and dirt blocks
“Wizard corner”
I mean, the inventor huts do make it seem like the Wizard of Menlo Park (Thomas Edison) would hang out there…🤔
Can you build underground farms or similar? Like a sub-ground level made with explosives... how lower can you go?
BIG TIP you can make waterlock gates and let a certain amount of water through
Next mega project should digging out a huge hole to the bottom of the map as a huge reservoir
Kibitz after using all 1000 explosives: Terrain? What terrain? I dont see any terrain around here!
You had me at “beaver city”
Bish that’s beaver Kowloon Walled City
amazing build
Kibitz is let's game it out but un-chaos
Ye

For those wheels to work in pairs u need a connecter rod in between them too, u have 50% more easy power to be had there🍺
Not true, at least not when i did play yesterday.

in before Kibitz decides to make his town center ONE platform higher to cover all of this magnificent building!
You can try use water dumps to make water streams, to make energy
kibitz: lets make a river flow in here so get more water for crops irrigation tower: am i a joke to you?
irrigation towers are overrated it looks better and is more reliable to just make a river or canal
@@keaninjudd9825 ok
Man kibitz what ever you are working on in satisfactory must be huge it’s been a month since your last video
You didnt put a path to the stairs for the second log storage you placed !!!!!! The one with 2 platforms. It's the one at 6:23
With all the explosives you should see how far down you can go
For the logging area; why did you not put platforms over the irrigation trenches and have the paths there?
I love the build
You should make a huge mine with the explosives.
Yay, more Kibitz! :D
Imagine moving to lake sippy...
You would need to take a tour like 500 times to understand it
QUESTION:
Have you tried using a district gate at the top of the building... Adding in another layer to add the new district and go from there?
There's a better spot for the district gate on the other side of the bridge!

Dredge out lake Sippy wider and deeper with dynamite to create lake Drinky. 🧨 🧨🧨 💥 💥 💥
That tower gave me the mental image of beaver Judge Dredd.
Did you connect the path to the log storage at the 6:20 mark in the video just under your mouse?
