My God this is a real blast from the past - I can still recall going to see Thin Lizzy in The Simmonscourt Pavilion in the RDS in Dublin two nights in row in 1983, I remember going to the pub in Donnybrook beforehand, queuing up. and rushing to the front the two nights they played. Sadly in this video they dont show the fans at the front, if they did I would be able to see a 30 years younger me !!
Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy in general, as much as they're recognised among us rockers, should have more mainstream notice. Thin Lizzy and The Wildhearts are THE 2 most underrated rock bands of all time in my humble opinion
Thin Lizzy, great band! Oh man, that's the way to play the guitar! It's a shame the audio is not that good, but the power of the band was captured, and again, those guitars really rocked! I'll have a drink too, cheers! This is for you Phil!
Oh what a gem this is, to see you play this song live. I wasn't even born yet and you guys were making history already. Never quit John, playing is your mission on this life on earth!
The hard rock of the past inspired much of the bands of the present. I think Thin lizzy is one of those bands, who left us a great legacy and today is a great legend. Listen to this one, it's from Argentina! ua-cam.com/video/avYAiCF5sPk/v-deo.html
Good guitar and drums. Bass guitar and singing is as baisic as it comes and almost makes it sound shit. Whant to hear something that will blow youre mind?**** Budgie - Baby please dont go****
One of the greatest rock songs in history. Keeps getting better with age...
I sure wish Phil didn't go....
Phil was one of the greatest and most under-rated songwriters of all time; even Bob Dylan called him a genius.
Did he ? Never knew that .
I was just thinking of how his singing resembles Dylan's and Hendrix' climates.
Sykes killed it on that solo. Bravo.
He sure did Bravo Sykes 👏😎😍💜❤🧡🤍🤎💚💙💛
John Sykes is my HERO.

JJ Sykes was THE guy back in the 80's. For over the top wailing, he invented it. Well, perfected it let's say. Say thanks Zakk, et al.
Zack second.
Sykes is the Man. Furious Guitars. Come on John
U rock John!
John brought Electricity even to the old standards like Boys, etc & Lizzy in General had a place in History... R.I.P. Phil & Gary ... Ledgends💥
John Sykes, most under rated guitarist
You have an exquisite touch...your guitar responds beautifully John!!
I subscribed cos of the solo on this! The album version is awesome and the live version is just as it should be, it even BETTER!
Kick arse!!! Sykes/Gorham attack
Being a bass guitarist/vocalist Phil was one of my idols. And this tune has been one of the most heartbreaking songs ever. RIP Phil Lynott
one of my favorite song in high school days.

Excelente banda, pioneros del hard rock y heavy metal...

Thin Lizzy a proper band. A true inspiration for Big Country who came with their twin guitars from the Celts 💯
Living on Phil's childhood road , love seeing his statue . Always missed .
Stoned.. Phil can't rembember the title..
But the number is Fantastic 🤘
Salute from me and Denmark 🇩🇰
Live Lizzy were electric it was heart breaking watching Phil self destruct
The best vocal delivery in rock n' roll is from the coolest of them all: Phil Lynott.
