    How do companies collect snail mucin?
    How is snail mucin collected? For Cosrx products, snails are placed over a mesh net in a dark and quiet room. As nocturnal creatures, the snails prefer this environment. For about 30 minutes, the snails are left alone to freely roam the net, leaving mucin in their trails.
    They are not washed in a washing machine or electrocuted.

    • @morgianasartre6709
      @morgianasartre6709 Рік тому

      I really don't buy that story, they have never actually shown anything of that process, just wrote it on their website. Snails don't secrete that much mucin without any type of stimulation so they really can't do it that way while mass producing products with the percentages they claim at the price that they are. The math doesn't add up.

      I used to love the Cosrx snail mucin. Until I got these red rashes around my face. And then realised that they stung after applying the cosrx (tested it on just half my face). I stopped the Cosrx and the red patches also disappeared... (this happened after my 3rd? bottle. No clue what happened/changed)

    So i am also a fan of biossance copper peptides serum and it’s definitely expensive, BUT it’s almost 2 oz. 1.8 or something like that. They DID release a limited edition that’s ONLY $30 and same size as the ordinary one (1oz). So I would just get two of those and it would be cheaper than the larger bottle. I used to think the ordinary was cheaper too then I realized the size difference.

    The Dose of Wisdom serum has the beneficial ingredients under the fragrance !!! Not quite sure how you can recommend it to be honest ! A company who puts a value on fragrance more than the beneficial ingredients in my book does not deserve any praise . People are paying for pitiful amounts of active ingredients .

    Everyone please note, the Dose of Wisdom contains *alcohol* , aka isopropyl alcohol, aka SD40 alcohol, and fragrance. These are NOT good ingredients for the skin!
    Sorry Cassandra, I'm not giving you a thumbs up on this video because you recommended the Dose of Wisdom product. "Turn and Learn!"

      Alcohols are fine

      Alcohols are ok but fragrance on the other hand always irritates my skin and gives me headache if it is strong enough.

      I thought that alcohol is usually perfectly fine in small amounts?

      The philosophy serum also has the fragrance at the top third of the serum ! The decent ingredients are all under fragrance ! That’s just not normal and these days you would think a skin care company would know better . The beneficial ingredients are obviously in such tiny tiny amounts. Very unimpressed with this serum should not be recommended at all
