This video represent a "Typical Auto Air Conditioning System - How It Works" as well shows the potential problem of over-charging systems with TXV Valves. Our solution at AC AVALANCHE is to use SMART CLIP Technology for the correct fill! - Авто та транспорт
Every new mechanic who's delving into the world of automotive AC diag and repair should watch this video. Straight to the point and very accurate.
That was probably the most simple, concise and helpful explanation I have ever seen.
that was so simple , slowly , accurate , clearly was made to make everyone understand
WOW factor
Excellent graphics and explanation of the A/C system. Thank you!
Seriously educational. Remarkably concise and helpful, I had no idea how the system worked 5 minutes ago (well, 6 if I'm being honest about skipping back a few times), and now I know exactly what's going on. Thank you!!!
Outstanding video. Thank you. I've learned plenty on this subject thanks to UA-cam. This video, however, has a couple additional features that help even more. First, the identification of liquid versus gas with bubbles or arrows in the animation is great. This helps with visualization of the changes that occur, where they occur. Second, the effect of the reading at the sensor on the flow allowed by the expansion valve (I have an orifice tube on my vehicles) and then HOW overfilling can occur. That, I think, is the first time I've seen these features included... quite valuable. Thanks again. My guess is that the smart clips substitute for having a thermometer in the vent? Someone commented a year ago that your product, with the clips, are sold at Autozone. I shop there, and do not recall seeing them. Will look for them, specifically, next time.
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. That explanation was perfect.
It helps me a lot to understand how the air condition system works ,
the illumination was pretty detailed and clear
I agree, one of the best diagrams i have seen, plus the TXV valve problem i had experience is here, thank you Mr Avalanche.
Amazing in auto mechanics in high school and this explains so much
this is really helpful
it taught me more then my teacher
Thank you for the video. I am a pretty decent mechanic and have worked on all kinds of cars. But I never had formal training and I need to ask....when replacing the condenser, does the pag oil stay in the system somewhere? Or does the vacuum pump pull it out, therefore needing to be replaced with new pag oil when recharging the system? thanks again!
Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the job of the condenser to cool the high-pressure gas as the air traveling through the condenser releases the heat through the fins of the condenser (the same as the radiators job is to remove heat from the anti-freeze)? Essentially condensing the gas back into a liquid as it cools off thus the name of the component (Condensor). The refrigerant enters as a hot high-pressure gas and exits as a cool high-pressure liquid, the job of the expansion valve is to simply lower the pressure of the cool high-pressure liquid as it enters the evaporator where the chemical change once again takes place and the process repeats itself.
BEST AC VIDEO ON UA-cam
Excellent video, great tutorial
well done very clear clarification about it thanks
Thank you, that's easy to understand. I'll be troubleshooting the AC on my Sube Forester next week.
this is wt ive been looking for. thanks. :)
This video is so nice it clearly explains it all
great video
The TXV has only one function and that is to control superheat, ensuring that only vapor goes back to the compressor, it does not control pressure or temperature. There are two forces trying to close the TXV (evap pressure and the superheat spring) and one force trying to open it (superheat aka power head). Low side pressure will increase or decrease depending on the refrigerant charge, with more liquid pressure the refrigerant is moving faster through the evap and not removing as much heat.
HI mike i am in UK and train ac qualifications here and sell ac equipment can i have your permission to use your video an ac system to show my students as i think it will be good for them
on which compressor run is it on battery or engine shaft is coupled to the compressor.
very well explained !
Absolutely excellent video.
hi friend may I ask , replace a new evaporator, compressor oil top up needed?
Thank you, it is very helpful as I had a previous experience in split and window type units!
can you use air water or nitrigen for the gas medium i want to build my own simple aircond useing safe gases
VFD of a compressor , can be used with orifice tube or expansion valve ?
Or it doesn't matter ?
Very informative video easy to understand
very educational..i have a question, why a nissan escapade compressor overheated as all ac parts were brand new?
my A/C is mess up now I have a better clue how to fix it thanks your really help
That was so helpful
Can you use a 7 cfm vaccum pump on auto ac or do you need a 2 cfm?
Bahut achcha laga app ka video ac ka work thank you.
Good stuff! Thank you :-)
very good video
hi
in high side gauge..how much psi it should be ? to see the level of the gas?
thank you it was very beneficial
I heard that starting AC when the car is traveling at high speed (say 100KPH) will cause damage to the system... is it true or it doesn't matter at what speed I turn it on?
I have a question. why my car when I speed up star with hot air but when I just I stay and star throw cold air
Great video!!
helpful it is!
helpful thank you
Thank you so much
what are the tubes called? the tubes the air actually flows in? and how do you order them
How can i know the system is fully charged ?
Very good explanation
clear and concise
What is the effect of ambient air of the outside temp .. on condenser as the radiator fan is to cool the refrigerant ?
Thank you very nice video 🌹👌😁👍
Great video
Can you explain how the chilled air is circulating in detail?
Had one question in my car ac cooling down after running 50 kilometers. AC Cooling fine in idle and till run up to 40-50 km. Can you suggest the solutions.
Wait why does the low pressure liquid refrigerant go through the evaporator and then turn back into a gas? Is there some sort of reaction in there?
good explanation
Hello: I wanted to know one issue, that is can i take out all complete system of car AC and fixes in a room? ANS PLS
What is the temperature in the condenser?
So which pipes do you need to insulate?
hi i have a 1999 tercel an the ac is wrking but wen the car is park till dosnt stay cold wen u rev it u hear the tek the ac makes but wen u stop the rev its not getting cold wats wrong wit it thanks
if pipe of car Freon gas has leak because accident . what I should do ? . 1. remove belt of air conditioner 2. take off switch A /c . what i should do it to save my air conditioner . thank you
Hi AC Avalanche, I have a Chevrolet Sonic 2015 the the problem is that the high pressure pipe is cold and the low pressure pipe is warm and the A/C does not cool, what could be the problem? i have to recharge the system each month.
nice sir thank
How we can set car a.c in room?
I have a problem on my 2005 Kia Sportage . Whenever I turn my AC on in about 3-4 mins I have blinking drive light until I turn the AC off. Any idea what problem I might be facing
Thanks a lot
Help my a/c system has orifice tube, accumulator canister and expansion valve. So which one is clogged? 1990 Chevy van 30....................
Where do you get the "smart clips" Mike? At any specific auto parts store?
jeff Dole You get them with the can of Avalanche Refrigerant. Its sold at AutoZone.
one question, is the condenser the same as the radiator? or are they separate components in the car.
Separate components you can see then in front of the car 2 different components look almost the same ..
Thank you sir ji.
If the low side service port were located next to the orifice tube it would be MUCH less likely that liquid refrigerant would get into the compressor. That's why manufacturer's put it there.
Does anyone know about DOOWON AC COMPRESSOR ?
IS IT GOOD AND LASTING??
Nice viewable totaly conceptble..
very useful
In my opinion adding to much refrigerant puts strain on the evaporator especialy the aluminum ones and so
micro leaks can apear in evaporator after such overcharging.
the role of the dryer always confused me. how can it remove moisture from already liquefied refrigerant?
SO There are 4 Main Components.
One for Increasing pressure. (Compressor)
One for Decreasing Pressure. (Expansion Valve)
One for Increasing Temperature. (Evaporator)
One for Decreasing Temperature. (Condenser)
hi. how it's work car Ac pressure switch plz create video
Thank you
amazing
Good video
Nice
can you explain the AC of electric vehicle like TESLA?
so nice video
thanks a lot
Hello ...i am from iraq ... my probem is when the RPM is more than 2 the AC is disconected ...in your openion what i have to do....thanks
If something turns from liquid to gas, doesn't produce a heating effect rather than a cooling effect? Like if I turn water into gas, doesn't it mean ambient air become warmer, and if I turn water into a solid, the ambient air becomes cooler?
Thx incredible
Good afternoon. How to wash the air conditioner system?
Just cover electrical cables and components with aluminum foil, disconnects the negative of your battery and spray it down with high pressure water. Do not damage the fins in the evaporator or condenser otherwise the air flow will be reduced, and heat will be huge.
Where to charge compressor oil..and what will happen if oil charge through LP service port
This made me wanna buy there product.
Thanks
Good stuff it helps in my studying
Nice sir
more useful video
It sounds like a totally sealed system from this and you don't have to worry about engine fumes mixing with the air-flow of the A/C. Should not be any fumes in an engine compartment anyway but with larger 4bbl carburetors that are not especially efficient you never know what hydro carbons etc are there.
I would love it if your products had a gauge.
Thanks sire
why Gas need to be compressed for going to condansor?
good graphix bacic
