Hello Sir, plz don’t use second foot , when u stop in traffic at hill or bridge upside just release break quickly it will not roolback
But if you release break slowly then it will rollback
So plz release break quickly, u will find your car moving forward only.
If hill/bridge more upward then use your hand break.
As i saw normally punch amt climb easily as soon as u release break fastly
Ya. Also real8sed the same in my tata tiago amt.. when u release brake slowly it starts rolling but when realeased fast it gets into motion but u should be alert of handbrake..
This point is very useful. It is understood that vehicle need hill hold assist for driving in hills.
Using both legs in AMT car is not recommended.. Better to use hand brake...

Yes bro. Make sure you use two foot only during neck to neck traffic at slope and bigger slopes. Also remember that you should not press brake and accelerator same time.

Using both legs in any situation in AMT is bad advice. Manufacturers advise to use handbrake.
Using both legs, if it exceeds you will be in a dangerous situation.
Burning smell, and Check the dashboard for warning symbols.

Due to use of both legs for break and accelerator at once can damage AMT. For one Punch owner's AMT malfunction, Tata denied warranty stating use of both legs and clutch damage is part of wear and tear cant be covered in warranty. Check with Service center. Better Tata provide Hill start assist like Nexon
Many says we shouldn't use brake and accelerator at hilly areas but i say we can use either hand brake or leftfoot brake both are same. Let me check in steep slope and see how Engine support.

You have to use only hand brake to hold the car at hills. You can go through the manual for more information, it clearly mentioned about.
During neck to neck moving traffic at hill. It is really a slow process to hold hand brake and release it. Yes i read the manual.
This is the problem with AMT that is why hillhold introduced. My self as learner when used both legs engine starts roaring , bad to engine.

No you are completely wrong. Also there is no logic behind it.
He is right, Mr. Diwakar Rajan you are wrong here. This is because when you press the brake pedal it sends a signal to the engine control unit to cut the fuel supply and when you release the brake pedal and press on the accelerator pedal it sends a signal to initiate fuel supply to the engine.
In case of pressing both pedals together or simultaneously it doesn't send proper signal and an error gets logged - Unexpected operation of brake/accelerator pedal.
The right way is to only use one leg for operating both pedals and using handbrake for further assistance.

Only reason not to use both legs is not to accelerate while braking !!! Yes right leg only prefered all the time .. even the slope with pratice can manage with only right leg
You cannot hold AMT Vehicle with one leg. You can but you should use hand brake which is old School. Any way you cannot hold without brake.
If the slope is not that steep the car's crawl function keeps the car from going backwards, however if the slope is steep and the car is fully loaded the car goes backwards and brakes are needed to avoid that, you can either use handbrake or foot break as suggested in video.
If full load , it will be same procedure or due to load vehicle will go down immediately?

Yes handbrake not working on a steep slope. You have to crawl the vehicle and then use acceleration. Brake only when it moves back.

Bro go for AMT which gives me 10-15Kmpl city and 17-20Kmpl Highway. AMT has no issue on hills but i found few power lag during hill ride.

Creep function in punch failes ? We believe creep will help in move forward after releasing brake.
Creep function works fine at small slopes however it is useless in bridges and mountain slopes.

Not recommend, always follow manufacturer instructions of using handbrake / parking break to assist hill hold.. read the instructions on the right door.

@@DiwakarRajanOnline i am first time car buyer. My dream car is TATA PUNCH AMT so I need answer for this question bro.
Generally AMT cars have over 60k more premium cost over manual variant, additional cost of cng will make the car too expensive. so companies launch cng models with manual transmission to keep things within range. Also cng has less pickup so AMT feels sluggish. Manually you can work out with gears to cope up with pickup lag. Having said that I have seen people adding cng to their amt cars after market and are successful, but it voids warranty. Hope this answers your question.

But I have seen a Tigor owner review where Creep helped a little bit. What about Punch? its not at all helpful and cars rolls back the movement you release break?
Bro i tested creep in normal slope and it works well. Yet to check in hilly areas.
