Its nice to see familiar roads i certainly need to visit next year i used to live in south shore of Blackpool and lytham route into wrea green was one of my fab little 20ish mile routes ❤
My last ride out to Lytham was back in August, one of those 30 degree days 😊 Am just debating getting some Race Blades, think I'll pull the trigger. Always sad riding past the Derby Arms, used to do great food.
@mattbirtwistle6188 I don't have the suggested 35mm gap between the downtube and front tyre so had to file some material off. As you say, a bit fiddly but worth it.
Great ride and commentary your sunglasses look like they keep a lot of wind out would you mind letting me know the make and type ( if still available) cheers 💪🎥🚴♂️🥇
If you go through Wrea Green before Moss side take road on the left Wrea brook at the end turn left on Cartmell lane better route to Lytham gets you of the busy road and a lot quieter route

This was one of my favourite lockdown routes.

The race blades do a fab job. I reckon they buy you hours of comfort over the course of the winter.
Just fitted mine last weekend and they were great keeping the rain off on my Sunday ride. Bit fiddly to adjust but everything remained solid
