    That first girl was seeking attention. She tried to tell Ashley how to start off her show. She tried to appear as articulate and smart but yet rude. She was giving me Amanda Seales vibes--always confrontational. She gets off on that… Ashley drop her next time-don’t waste your energy…this lady is calculating and mean, let her pay to seek counsel…no more free minutes of fame. 🚪

    Ash, please watch out for the first guest, she gives me familiarity breeds contempt. She seems like the type to start off respectful and then gradually over time test boundaries that will eventually lead to disrespect just to have a moment on your live. She doesn't understand the need to tone change when giving advice vs. giving someone space to be heard. She will justify everything she does under the guise of being a strong black woman and will blame you for it due to her extreme lack of self-awareness. Proceed with caution on the invites

    I used to have a so called best friend just like the first caller. She would go back and forth If you don’t agree with her views. Very argumentative. I am always the quiet one and the open minded friend. I’m always positive and she is negative. Not a lot of women are her friends. I was the only one woman friend that was always there for her. She used to gaslight me and talked nonsense. So I didn’t have the energy, bandwidth to be her friend anymore. Very draining. So I just cut her off. I have some amazing women friends and I put them in categories and I no longer want a best friend. I am not easily accessible to listen to people’s nonsense.

    Billy J is the child that should've been seen and not heard. Her parents must have let her express herself as an immature child. She never learned how to communicate effectively. She thinks her opinion is important. It is not. Her opinion is toxic, mean, and nasty. Her black heart is obvious. She is evil in the way she took joy with attempting to tear a man down. Ashley handled her well. Don't let her back up. That type of negative energy should not be on the internet.

  • @VitaInDC
    @VitaInDC Місяць тому +21

    The guest triggered me in the first few minutes. I felt started off trolling Ashley; I sensed an undercurrent of aggressiveness. Rather than continue, I stopped & watched Ashley's previous video where the guess starts at around 47 minutes talking to the guy, Fatman. I thought she was baiting him for a fight right at the start with her words, tone, facial expressions, and body language. That same vibe but more of it. Afterwards I returned to this video, and see she picked an argument with Ashley again, but it's mixed with her sincere feelings. I don't think she has a clue how obnoxious she comes across or how she affects others, and won't as long as she is defensive and takes pride in being opinionated. She's young, I'm over half a century older than her plus some, but I hope for her own sake she learns the art of diplomacy and to not being so confrontational.

    • @OurNYCHome
      @OurNYCHome Місяць тому +9

      Right!
      And not only that, she admitted that she missed most of his appearance and had only joined the Live late. Had she actually heard Scoop’s ENTIRE message, nowhere in there was he talking about how a woman “should” wait patiently by and build with a man….. that was never his message.
      His points were that men who have not yet reached their pinnacle of success may not be in a position to pick their dream girl.. and once they’ve reached their career goals then some (“not all”) will become more selective and get their dream girl (hence, why these men sometimes leave/divorce their first partner from early on, the one who held them down.)
      BUT if you happen to be the woman who is in his vision and gets “noticed” at that time, you could be the one, due to good timing. And then Ashley proceeded to ask what a “high value” rich/baller man would want… and Scoop admitted that oftentimes it’s superficial, because those men are still “newly rich” and haven’t sowed their oats and matured enough yet. And THATS when he said “and to get that guy, you need to look your best self, face done, body done, etc.” Cuz he’s looking for something superficial and if you’re looking for something transactional too, that’s how to attract THAT guy.
      And then he went on to say BUT If you’re looking for something solid and true love, than just be yourself and be a good person and an authentic guy will meet you and connect with you from the heart. I’m paraphrasing but… that was my takeaway from the Scoop video.
      So I really think this young woman came in mid-way and kind of took much of what he said out of context… and instead of asking for clarity in a mature, calm manner, she immediately went below the below, and for the jugular, attacking the man’s clothes and other nonsense. And watching her today is equally cringe… no growth or self-reflection, even after seeing so many ppls feedback about her behavior.

    Here we go, another display of her ridiculous behavior, even how she came at Ashley from the beginning of this call. Furthermore, please don’t not put this atrocious behavior on “black women” if she was a white woman she would be called a defensive Karen in the comments. The bottomline is if you squeeze an orange, lemon juice doesn’t come out. What comes out of you is what’s inside and she needs to do some serious examination on why others opinions and actions have her residing at a low vibrational level of combativeness.

    19:07 sis, 2 things to keep in mind regarding your relationship…
    1. You said you BOTH have a problem with drinking which means you BOTH need to get help.
    2. You said he did things in the past, you forgave him, moved on and you all have grown. That means if you’ve made a mistake that can affect your relationship in this time and space, after growth has supposedly taken place, you can’t bring up what happened in the past as a get back and a reason for him to forgive you.
    Growth doesn’t mean we don’t make mistakes but it does mean we don’t make the same or even obvious mistakes. You really have to examine yourself on this one. I hope all the best for you!!!

    While the first guest does seem argumentative and would certainly be a headache in a relationship, she is absolutely right about one thing. whats being taught to women in a lot of these spaces sounds great in the echo chamber among other women and is good for content, but once men enter the chat, whether high value or not, the tune will change because now you have to listen to the other side and hear what are men's expectations.

    Exactly. At the 11 min she explained it...on when guest come on her platform...some ppl take it as co-signing everything they say cause Ashley didnt say anything to it. No, not necessarily.
    I this very attractive dark skin,I believe African bw came on here. And she only wanted to date out...not any bm. Her main reasoning was because the fetish wm who say something to her about her looks...even thouhthey dont holla...and the bm dont. Ashley didnt correct her then...but if you know Ashley, she Always say that men wont necessarily do that. And Clearly the lady just wanted a wm cause thats who shes attracted to...not that bm dont want her, cause thats clearly not true. But it is what it is. People shouldn't assume Ashley's silence to something is her co-signing everything they say.
