- They say big things can come in small packages. The UM700 is a mini PC with a Ryzen 7 3750H CPU and a price tag of around $500. This Radeon Vega 10 powered machine comes preinstalled with Manjaro Linux and is fully upgrade friendly and repairable. No tools required to pop the top and look inside. Additionally this mini PC is so small you can mount it via an INCLUDED Vesa mount on the back of your monitor. In this video we put the UM700 through it's paces and see whether this small package can deliver big performance.
Features things like 4k high definition with triple display support. Configurable with 8 or 16 GB of memory. Dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and storage expansion.

The performance for gaming is on par with the hardware. If you want to get more info (or examples) on how this should perform, I suggest heading over to the "ETA Prime" channel. If you're starting to get into this type of small form factor stuff, prepare to waste a substantial amount of time on his channel :-)
(EDIT: Also, don't forget: The steam deck res is 1280 x 800, so realistically to get similar performance to the deck, you need to try the games at lower res than 1080 or 1440. Anyway, great vid, as always :-) )
Can someone who has one of these tell me if it would be good for web surfing and streaming or downloading videos? Looking to replace my Windows 8.1 and make the move to Linux.
Would definitely work for this use case
