🔥🔥 To celebrate the partnership, we are running a promo with Yale that bundles the Linus Lock with the Connect WiFi Bridge to save you up to €60! (fits EURO Cylinders & available until 18/04/2022) → SILVER homey.app/p/yale-bundle-silver/ or BLACK homey.app/p/yale-bundle-black/ 🔥🔥
Hey Magnus, it's based on Bluetooth, so the range will not be very large. It's advised to place the Bridge as close to the lock as possible. Can't comment specifically to the range of it.
Hey Ream. Homey Pro runs locally, it's basically a mini computer that operates your smart home. Flows, Insights, Energy, Apps, are all stored and processed locally on the device. It's the perfect all-in-one smart home hub. Homey Bridge might be a lower cost alternative for you, if you have a stable internet connection, and you're happy making use of cloud based services to run your smart home. Homey Pro is for the 'pros' and Homey Bridge is a better entry level experience and device for starting smart homers. Check out both options on our website - homey.app.
@@reamsel You can see the full selection of Apps for Homey Bridge here -> homey.app/nl-nl/apps/browse/#filter?query= - there are now almost 100 Apps available for Homey Bridge. :)
I am considering this product. But I see there is a problem if the user step out of the house without his phone or external keypad installed. Then he will be locked out entirely 😅
Hey Jacky, If you're worried about that, I'd say to add the Yale Smart Keypad - homey.app/p/YAL_SMART_KEYPAD/ - Then you can always come home using your own 4-6 digit code. Great if you often go out for jogs / walks and don't want to take your phone & keys with you!
But what would you say if I got it brand new for just 120€ with bridge. Nuki 3.0 solo is 160€ and nuki 3.0 Pro is 280€. Should I still prefer the Nuki?

I couldn’t find out how to calibrate it with a door with no handle outside. There’s a latch timing but somehow the Yale doesn’t pull it.
Will the Yale Doorman L3 work with Homey?
Thanks for a great video as always Alex 👍
My pleasure! Stay tuned for more. 😉
Is the range of the bridge still really bad or has Yale solved that issue?

Why is the homey pro version so expensive?

@@homey But what I have red the Bridge version has almost no supported apps.

@@homey what is the lock if out of battery inside and you don’t have a physical key?
Honestly for this price, Nuki is better.
Hopefully, some time soon, I'll have a chance to take a look at Nuki's locks. Then I can also offer a better opinion on that. 😉

@@derdude8201 It's like comapring a Dacia and a Mercedes ... the price is not the same because the product is not.
