For the cheesecake you could crush the oreos in crumbs and mixed it with melted butter for a firm base. But it looked tasty also. Thanks for uploading your video.

Thank you for your comment! Next time I'll try making the bottom. I didn't make it this time because I wanted to make it easy 😁

Happiest of birthdays to your son ~ hope he continues to grow as a loving, cheerful, curious individual! I can't believe it's been two years already! I remember when you were introducing him and he was so small back then~~ may the happy memories continue for you and your family.
Thank you as always for sharing your recipes. I enjoy watching and trying out many of them! My morning sickness is starting to calm down so I will be able to cook more foods soon!

I can't believe I'm so late with watching this video :o When I make a cucumber salade I put in salt, pepper, garlic powder, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It's really good as well!

Do you freeze scallions? They seem to be always on hand.

YAY! So happy to find your channel (fellow Canadian!) We're mostly vegetarian, so I have so many tofu recipes. Jerk Tofu is one of my favourites. Question - is your dashi vegan? If yes, where did you get it?

Thank you for your comment! Wow Jerk Tofu sounds very delicious 😋
My dashi stock is not vegan and contains bonito flakes.

I absolutely adore these videos, gives me so much inspiration to cook meals at home!! I definitely take a long time to prep though, my knife cutting skills are not the best 😂

@@whatsfordinner_japanese I willl try my best to practice more! Also, I saw on a Korean cooking show that for their healthier fried rice meal, they replaced rice with firm tofu 🤗
