If you want a growly voice.. Drink whisky.. I don't smoke but I do drink whisky .. and i have found lately I have been able to get pure gravel on my high notes if I just push a little harder than usual.. But don't smoke, there's like a 20% it will go right for you if you do. Most people just end up fucking their voice with cigarettes. Jacoby does smoke though.
@kenlhappe I agree Lamb of god is heavier and these guys arent super heavy... Listen to All That Remains if you want some good heavy though.. This calling.

well, a lot of the notes he sings in this song are out of tune and when something is out of tune, it can either be flat (as in too low) or sharp (too high).
haha well, first of all coheed is not generic, and since you are saying that i would say that you have probably not heard more than one song by Coheed, . the guitar is bland at best, and the drums are probably playing the most basic fills an beat i hear. maybe they should step outta 4/4 time and then maybe ill give them a little respect. i will admit that the vocals are decent. and besides Sanchez and sStever are gods go watch the Final cut from neverender then tell me their bland :D

@PirateMetalFTW they're DECENT. go see lamb of god. they call themselves metal at live shows, they ARENT metal. bullet for my valentine made fun of them for it. then 4 hours later lamb of god took the MAIN stage to headline after all those guys played side state and rocked the show. there are much better live bands. disturbed is not one of those bands hahahaha.
one of the best LIVE bands, most bands cant perform live but these guys sounds like their albums, practically identical...
