Grand Staircase Flooding - Britannic: Patroness of the Mediterranean

- From the game Britannic: Patroness of the Mediterranean.
Sinking mode is only supposed to be experienced from the exterior of the ship, the interior is low-res as you should only be able to view it through the windows. However, a small bug allows you to fly around and view the low-res version of the ship's interior (including the Engine Room).

1:48 I absolutely love that sound effect. Horryfying sound if you imagine yourself alone, trapped on a sinking ship, feeling the acceleration of the sinking and hearing the sounds of the sea rushing in to meet you. Incredible effect!
1:48 Jesus, that noise gives me the freaks everytime I hear it. Couldn't imagine being trapped on the real thing trying to find a way out while noises like that test your sanity.
Mom… *where is dad?*
I don't even know how you could, because as seen here, Britannic went down WAY faster than Titanic did.
Luckily the ship had been abandoned of all living souls by then; 30 people died in total, while 1,035 people survived.
While any loss of life in a sinking of a vessel is tragic, it could have easily been FAR worse, as she wasn't carrying any sick or wounded patients.
What is that noise actually?
@@Goofballhero My guess is that it’s the sound of the ship adjusting to the water pressure the further it goes down. By this point the bow hadn’t even hit the sea floor yet, so any noise aside from that is anyones guess.
Thanks for uploading this! You can also clip into the rest of the ships interior if you go to the very front of the bow to where the waves are and let the ship crash into you!
That looks awesome!
Rip like titanic
Well, my long question has finally been answered! We know what happened to Titanic as she went down, but because Britannic unfortunately sank too, I've always wondered where her Grand Staircase, even though she was a hospital ship, look like as she went down. As far as I remember, though, Britannic's is more intact than with her sister.
But it's scary she sank in an ALARMING rate compared to Titanic!
Oh hi, I didn't expect to find you here, you enjoy this kind of stuff
@@galatheumbreon6862 Yeah, I study a lot of things. I'm not just an Eeveelution fan or retro gamer.
@@LITTLE1994 ah I also have an obsession with the Titanic and sinkings in general
The titanics staircase was never found. it wasnt until james Cameron’s movie, and him recreating that part of the sinking that they realized it wasnt eaten away, it was actually ejected and ripped out of the ship. passengers reported floating bits of wood they were holding onto. That was the remains of the staircase
I don’t get why they didn’t let us go inside during the sinking
Lag.
There is some low poly interior you can glitch into
because sinking works differently on the inside, the water on the inside will always be lower than the outside and some rooms will more flooded than others ect. plus keeping areas loaded for water to act naturally will destroy performance.
@@ClementinesCoins exactly, if they want more people to play the game they must keep performance, they will add interiors when the game is more optimized.
@@eltiofresca4998 or add a versions that allows this for stronger pcs and eventually when properly optimized release it for all pcs

Who else was expecting the dome to collapse
It didn’t I’m real life btw
Lol
@@adamstuff8968 I know
Nah not really. She capsized, the water was almost at the Glass ceiling, and it's not even clear if titanic dome shattered as depicted.
So honestly? No I wasn't expecting it
I’ve actually used a method similar to this to get pulled through the water and see the ship sinking from below. There’s actually a sea bed which the ship ends up resting on. Got awesome screenshots of it.
Awesome
Very interesting story memories
very frightening
When Britannic's sinking, the dome can be implosion like in Titanic's one?
2:00 thumbnail picture 😀👍🏻
Scary.
Name of the game?
Imagine being there
is the grand staircase and dome still on the wreck
If I'm right its not in one piece because when it hit the ocean floor the dome shattered in too many pieces
@@coltongoodwin4854 frame be still their and maybe the giant light?
@@coltongoodwin4854 cant believe no one whoo dived down to the wreck looked at the staircase

Why on the thumbnail the dome has more color then normal ,is it made to make it look more like a hospital ?
The interior you’re seeing isn’t the actual detailed interior from the model. You can’t actually enter the ship properly while it’s sinking. So details looking different is to be expected.
Theonside and the sinking is Titanic
Is it possible to download it to my cell phone?
If you mean the game, I don't think there is unfortunately. It requires a PC according to Steam
If you mean the video, let me know
How to sink it? What key to press?
You select the “play the sinking” option in the menu when you start the game.
👏👏👏👏
What game is that my bro?
Britannic Patroness of the Mediterranean.
😢quelle tristesse cette fin absurde
Que agonia se afogar e morrer assim
This is Titanic
No this britanic
Titanic was the middle sister of two ships in the Olympic class. RMS Olympic was the oldest with RMS Britannic being the youngest.
Where is the Britannic in the Olympic located in the oceans
Olympic didn’t sink, she was scrapped. As for Britannic, she’s located off the Greek island of Kea, 120m down.
Do any of these ships ever float?
Olympic did.
No they decided to die
Olympic had a long career of 24 years. Titanic had 5 days and 11 months for Britannic
Britannic and Titanic are Both Unlucky twins
Is that Honor and Glory?
britannic patroness of the Mediterranean. game made by the same people working on honor and glory
@@ClementinesCoins Ok yeah thats what I thought lol

Can I use this for my Titanic video? I’ll leave credits
Of course. Here's a smoother version of the flooding part ua-cam.com/video/KCU-BPPzcHQ/v-deo.html
@@karlvuleta Thanks.
How did u even glitch urself into the staircase?!
Go to the freecam sinking option. While it's sinking the ship will slowly slide to starboard. If you put the camera up against a wall/window on the starboard side (as seen in the video) the ship will slowly move into the camera. Once inside you can then move the camera around inside the ship.
I would have made a left and run for stern,go down with my ship !
why are the ship's sinking
Brittanic was struck by a mine on the 21st of November, 1916. During world war 1
@@renatocaunojr.3380 the painting was a misconception
It's kinda surprising that they stripped the staircase after converting it. I don't see the point in getting rid of the wall clock and the Cherub.
Because it’s a hospital ship, items like that would make for an awful amount of cleaning to keep a sterile environment. Plus, white star line would’ve wanted to preserve those items for when Britannic would go into passenger service, which sadly never happened.
@@DraperStan23what happen to fitting out that removed from britannic?
@@ShipvsAnimation they went into storage, some of the fittings were used on her sister ship Olympic after the war. The rest may have been scrapped or sold. Supposedly the Britannic’s pipe organ is on display and still operating at the Museum Für Musikautomatem in Seewen, Switzerland.
@@DraperStan23 oh ok , thank for the information
REALLY hoping that is not the final results of the water because I hate to say it, but I cannot be the only one that things that is very fake looking water. The water you have in the ocean outside the ship looks SO much more authentic (well, not the waves tho...).. This to me looks like colored SMOKE..
Don't worry, it's not. I think they said it once in a stream.
You’re not supposed to be able to see the ship flooding from the inside, at least not yet anyway. As of now you’re only supposed to be able to see the interior through windows so until the game is optimized better and the devs allow interior access during the sinking, it makes sense to use low-res water.
Besides, for being low resolution I think it looks fine. Fluid dynamics are not an easy thing to animate. Your comment comes across as nit-picky when you consider how much effort and programming goes into an endeavor like this
first commentary :D
No this is britannic
Yea, no shit
Does anyone want to play mini games with me 😢 😢
Here
Fictional Ship???
No 🤣🤣
No, Britannic is real. It is sunk in around 400 ft of water in the near the island of Kea in the Aegean Sea.
Luckily no one died in that day
....30 died
and not in a very good way
let's just say human blender
yeah like the other comment said, 30 people died on a life boat which was heading straight for the propeller which was still spinning
30 people were killed from 2 lifeboats going into the turbine blades due to not following orders, but it is definitely tame compared to Titanic's 1517.
@@ClementinesCoins
Just to note, some might have died during the explosion

Am I the only one thinks the design of the staircase in on this ship is horrible compared to titanic and Olympic?
Nah, I agree. However, Olympic got an even worse change in the 30's. Google Image search green grand staircase
@@karlvuleta yeah painterd green
I don't think it's bad, but I agree they should've left it alone. Olympic definitely got messed up in her last days.
obviously because it's all stripped out for war usage
I agree to an extent, I wouldn't say horrible just not quite as nice. It looks a lot smaller and more cramped, whereas the staircases on Olympic and Titanic look more open and spacious.
