It is precisely that it met such an abrupt end on its maiden voyage all those years ago that its memory has been etched into the minds of so many generations. Ironically, it now endures for much longer than what it would have had it survived the iceberg collision. It now endures as a testament to man's hubris, and as a memorial to all the lost souls of that night.

It would have been cool if it hadn’t sunk, even if there is a museum of the titanic’s history it would have been cool if it was able to be made into an actual museum like Queen Mary, it’s just unfortunate that we can’t even lift it out of the ocean because of how much it would result in severe damage to the already decaying boat. It’s unfortunate to know that one day it would be all gone, the ship is being eaten away by bacteria. I wish there was a way to preserve it, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to go down there especially considering what happened to the titan sub.
