Driving through the Scottish Highlands I noticed some of the terrain looks straight out of Death Stranding. Listening to the soundtrack while watching it go by was a genius move. It works perfectly.
Some of it does look like the Scottish Highlands. But if you travel through Iceland the similarities are spot on. I'm pretty sure Amelies beach is the southern black beach in Iceland.
The last part of the game where you run back the whole way, man was I so greatful for making a zip line network with other players zip lines from the Biologist to the First Prepper.

Seeing this image makes me wish the game had more big metropolises and an overall darker atmosphere to it in parts. I feel it would have fit the world well, especially with the soundtrack having a lot of dark synth and cyberpunk influences. The soundtrack is amazing!
I agree since the game takes place in the entire US. Imagine a flooded NYC area and crossing a massive desert area in Nevada which would had added more colour to the settings. Think about fighting BTs inside of the San Andreas fault.

The “BRIDGES” track is so ambient. And the choir at the end reminds me of the opening theme from ghost in the shell. Wish it was longer! I believe it plays during the cargo management screen.
This soundtrack is just INCREDIBLE!! And BB's Theme is one of the most emotional, wonderful pieces of music I've heard in a long, long time...I don't want to go any further before experiencing the gameplay for myself but I LOOVE the first track! It's so mysterious and sets the tone so well!!!!

BB's theme... how do I put this...? It feels like... complete emotional catharsis, absolute freedom and just... pure love. and not just because I played the game and ugly-cried in the end.
I really love BRIDGES... so calm, atmospheric, and thought-provoking. It's probably overlooked by people because of how incredible and evocative the entire soundtrack is...
I feel so sorry for the poor simpletons who didn't have it in them to give this experience a chance. Death Stranding was so much more than just a game. What a journey it was. Absolutely astonishing.
My favorite part about this soundtrack is the euphoric 10 seconds of song before the game goes back into regular ambiance music, really appreciated missing half of the songs like that.
Unfortunately, this game got so much hate...personnally, it stands on top, among my favorite games ever. I identified to Sam so much, that I ended up being attached to him, and to BB. In terms of gameplay and atmosphere, I wish there was a day and night cycle, and maybe either more forests or more cities. Despite that, it was and still is a gem to me.

Nothing compares to when you first leave the mountain top and come to look over the field and that low roar song starts. Your met with a feeling of understanding the world, the feeling cant be explained and has not happened to me ever before in gaming. To the point I had to look up the soundtrack? Never done before in gaming!
I haven't played yet and been trying to avoid spoilers but BB's Theme brought me to some serious tears. I don't know why but I haven't cried that hard in a long time...
I hope i life long enough for great games like that. with even better graphics and more content + freedom. DS is just wow. i'm at the end of episode 3 and @ 32 hours playtime.
