A beard if facial only. The neck and under the chin is not part of a beard. It's called a filler...meaning it was not known where to stop. That's what makes a good look compared to a full random look Always completely expose the lips for cleanliness and food spills. A clean look is exclusive to a statement of pride and good grooming. Most women want lips to meet hers, not a hairy set of lips. A complete look is a fresh well maintained appearance of the face

Beard should have been a lot shorter.
The block neckline is not a good look. The haircut was very nice. His hair is pretty. However, that beard needed about 3 more inches off.
When the barber talked about temple smoke I thought he was referring to a religious temple and some type of incense smoke!! 😆 The client looked sharp ; good job.👏

Is there any way that you could have cut off that white piece of hair smack dab in the middle of is mustache like a sore thumb? There are a couple of others, but this one… it’s an eyesore for sure. What do you do in other situations like this?
The man’s haircut…bravo! He needed it done- it’s hard to part with, all his hair that he had for so long. It’s like a security blanket to him. I completely understand. I had a craniotomy and I had to have my head shaved. I thought that it wasn’t a big deal…I needed the craniotomy!!! Still, I never thought that losing my hair would bother me that much. Well, for men, they may get to the point where they just have to do it. It will take some getting used to…however, in the long run, it does make their life easier AND it’s nice to be able to see their face again!

I’m not a fan of the beard. I recognize that the client wanted it the way it was trimmed but I think he should have been advised not to have it squared and sticking out but rather shorter and rounded.
Love, love that hair cut. This guy,is good looking, but I think he needs to take that beard much, much shorter and it goes down on his neck too far. He would look even better with a shorter beard!

The haircut looks ok, the beard, trim it close. It looks too bushy and doesn't compliment him at all. I can see if he didn't want it closely trimmed as that would look 100x better but not a good look for him at all.
