Seen'em three times during this tour, and met them, all within a week, here in America. (Old) Genesis still has my full attention now that i'm a fledgling keyboardist.
genesis are not a Supergroup, they are a super group, and the varilites were used by any other big band that time, abba even called an album after the "super trouper" tracking lights -- and genesis gigs were everything but "electronic jamborees" --- it must have really been a sport back then putting genesis into a corner they don´t belong in by ignorant journalists
simply take out the bits that sound a bit raw and thin, glue them together, and ready is the mockumentary -- ignorants as usual, journalistic jamboree...

They didn't play in Leiden in 1978, but in 1980.

in 1978 it may have seemed like an electronic jamboree. But maybe the writer of the script had never been to a Tangerine Dream gig.
