We arrived at the same building independently. I’ve been loving this. It was so cool to see this work for the first time. Also used it on day 1. It’s now my main prismatic build. Legitimately astounded that it’s my main choice build now.
Tizzle you’re the one destiny creator I watch and truly learn from. I’ve watched your solo dungeons and builds and commentary and solo gms etc and just learning from the way you think about gameplay and think about your builds has improved my own skills in D2 so much, you’re probably the most underrated d2 creator on UA-cam, the stuff you post is so knowledgeable and I just gotta say thanks for it. I’m sure plenty of people have learned something and myself I have learnt so much and become a much better player bc of you.
Thank you. These comments mean so much to me because the whole reason I started a channel was to teach people the game because I know I understand it well. So I am always happy when some of the stuff I make has taught people things. I wish I got more views, because I truly think my stuff would help a lot of the community, but that's fine. I am glad it is at least helping the people who do watch!
I second this. As a new light I've learned so much threw this channel. And last week was just insane. Absalute best Destiny 2 content creator hands down.
As a player retuning after a few years away am looking forward to learning more, I never understood a lot of the terminology, like what the hells a debuff? Can you do a gameplay explanation on these kind of things
Love the build, felwinters is one of my favorite exotics, but i do want to clarify, it does NOT supress enemies. The jolt from lightning surge is what was stunning the overloads, and the weaken is what was semi-blinding the enemies
ahhh. makes sense why they walk around disoriented for a short amount of time. Figured that was suppression. But the shorter duration means it must be supression
TBH we need more ways to suppress. It's gotta be the most rare of the verbs to effect enemies with. You ahve a nade on a 2 minute CD. You have tractor. You have a fully ramped up wavesplitter. And that's about it?
Awesome stuff, thanks for sharing it! 🙌 Here are a couple tips for this build, for those interested: •Multiple copies of Heavy Handed are almost crucial for this (or any melee spam) build. Not only does it increase the Super Energy from orbs generated on melee kills, but it reduces the cooldown of this orb generation from 10s at base to 5s with two copies and 1s with three. Stacking triple Firepower is what makes Sunbracers as ridiculous for team utility as they are, for instance. •Rifts will generate 1x the intended ability energy with mods like Bomber, Outreach, Distribution, etc.; unfortunately Phoenix Dive only generates 0.6x the ability energy with these mods. (The flipside is that Dive gains ability energy quicker from Insulation/OoRestoration/Distribution/etc., as well as having a lower base cooldown.) If you have a boost to class ability generation (such as the new Strategist weapon perk, Classy Contender, Facet of Hope, etc.) you might be better served to boost your abilities a little bit more via Healing Rift. It's really just personal preference though. •In the short-term, the Radiant Orbs artifact mod will give you the Radiant buff on orb pickup anyways (which you'll always generate via the melee kills with Heavy Handed stacking), so you can replace Facet of Dawn for the time being (unless your allies have no way of generating Radiant of their own).
I was also curious about other prismatic builds without Getaway artist. And that works because we already have ability spam so why not also deploy turrets?
Ah the Bloodborne helm! Love the build, been using this helm for several seasons on a voidlock finisher/invis build. Will definitely give this prismatic build a go. Excellent content as always!
this is wild i was in discord with my clan theory crafting this exact idea of a build and telling everyone how insane it was gonna be i couldn't be happier that my idea was thought of by another and then rolled through a day 1 with it to show it off hell yeah.
Even though Autos have no champion mods currently, monte carlo is also a nice pick if you want to pair a kinetic. Builds both light and dark transcendence, builds melee energy on hit/kill so you can spec into other stats like your grenade, and any kills that occur from lightning surge grant an immediate x5 makrov chain to clean up nearby weakened targets.
I'm running mykel's revenge with pugilist & swashbuckler or smite of merain with the same perks, because it's too fun to run around with a riskrunner sword on this build :D I'd run Disparity over smite if i had one tho, just for the bonus darkness energy.
You're one of the most talented and creative destiny creators there is. Ive learned so much from you! My team only made it to the witness and couldnt clear in time but seriously congratulations!
I love this build! Really fun and cool idea. I normally never use this arc aspect, now i will try it out. I was thinking, if you would want to have bleak watcher (i think fellwinter weaken is a better option though), but let say you want to play bleak watcher or another aspect. I think a good solution would be to play this with Karnstein Armlets. So on melee kill you get your full health back and restoration x1 for 8 sec. Finishing a target will give your health back + restoration x2 for 8 seconds. And doing melee after finishing someone will extend resto x2, and not give resto x1. This way you still have an immense amount of self healing and survivability, you can still stun your overload champions with the jolt of your melee ability/aspect. This exotic also works perfectly with the fragment facet of defiance. And you can use another aspect if you would want. Though i do agree that feed the void is always a very solid choice. But its cool to have options here :)
You have to work on your clickbait game. May I suggest THE MOST BROKEN INSANE GOD-LIKE PRISMATIC WARLOCK EVER IN ALL OF CREATION - BONGIE NERF INCOMING?!? next to a thumbnail with "900% EXTRA DAMAGE"!
Hey, also ran this build on contest SE! Was also surpised that it was so potent. Prismatic really just gives felwinters / arc surge everything the build needs to thrive (healing, melee recharge, triple melee charges, long range melee option, damage resist, not to mention transcendence and super options). Tried to hop in your discord but description link isnt working :(
That build is veeeeeeeeery nice! I love using it. As a general statement, I was very surprised when many people said they left like got the shaft. Devour NOT on Void feels so crazy good on most everything. The survivability is one thing but the grenade regen is just disgusting… even with your limited choices. When I first got Prismatic the default idea was just to throw Osmiomancy Gloves and it just does not disappoint. Whether it’s making turrets or just throwing Coldsnaps… you just feel like you have infinite grenades and I think it feels better than on Stasis even with the synergies that class has. I’d be curious to test out some other things like Veritie’s Brow with Threadling Grenades and Storm Grenades
I listened to literally all 25 minutes of you raving about this build. That’s how I know you were cooking. Can’t wait to get home from work and steal this
This is a really interesting build. I'm proper stuck on Iconoclasm legendary third encounter with the blights so may try this one out. Very good video and very well explained. Looking forward to watching some more of your build ideas. 😊
Other fun ideas if you weren't aware: (1) The Restoration Ritual oirign trait from SoD dungeon are great options for Felwinter builds, e.g., Cold Comfort and No Survivors. (2) Anything with repulsor brace will proc bc of the weaken effect (I recommend the new recluse with RB and Frenzy).
For my super on this, i run Stasis. Mainly because you can generate so many orbs of power that you will always have x5 of the stasis shield. Pair that with the seasonal fragment that gives you radiant on orbs of power. No only do you take massivly less damage but your also doing more damage
I came up with this build on my own the other day! I had a feeling Felwinter’s would be a good thing to match with lighting surge and the arcane needle bit you wrapped it up in a nice bow! Great warlocks think alike I guess! I didn’t have a team to do the day 1 and I’m still waiting to do salvation’s edge, and I’m gonna give my own little tweaks to this build a try when I get the chance!
Sometimes it not so fun to be new to some games when you see how many builds you can use and you donthave any exotic , but some day i might have , great vid
This is such a cool build. I haven't bought TFS yet, but ima put this on right away. I'm also excited to use skull of dire Ahamkara, as one of the fragments gives an overshield. The main problem with Dire is that it offers no survivability besides damage resistance in the super, and doesn't buff ability regen like Nezarak's sin. Also, I'm gonna try Monte Carlo with your build as well as karenstein armlets for that cool restoration! Thanks for the ideas!
Amazing build i cant wait to try! I ended up swapping out Dawn for Protection to get the extra 10 strength and bc radiant orbs will already be making me amplified! Thank you
This was my build for the legend campaign and I loved it. All I was hearing about from my clan was the getaway artist build, but I love this build more.
I also used this build in day one! My teammates kept telling me how surprised they were at the weight it was pulling. Only difference id that I ran extra transcend energy on kinetic damage b/c it didn’t occur to me that devour counted as a light buff
I've been dreaming of this build ever since I found out about Prismatic Thank you for Showing that Felwinters helm is still a great exotic for end game.
Thanks , this build is so fun that it’s became my main build. I’m running it with Monte Carlo for melee ability energy and I don’t even need to load up on strength. Almost no downtime if I just shoot a bit
I discovered Felwinters Helm builds at the very end of the last season. La Monarch was smoking everything on my void build So when I saw the new seasonal artifact I was salivating lol .
Been wanting to make a build revolving around lightning surge! Thank you for doing the heavy lifting! Solid work my friend, looks way more fun than having some turrets do all the work for you. Edit: this build is going to go BRRR with the exotic bond
I have been wantong this build since they released felwinters. So much fun. One thing about facet of awakening. Your lightning surge will produce ionic traces. Strand kills will get tangles (the call) + void breaches from guillotine (heavy void weapon) and firesprites (solar energy weapon) . I elected to run that one over the radiant one and have elemental pick ups of every kind just adding to the refreshing of my abilities and buffs. Allows you to switch your energy and heavy weapon around as well like sunshot + guillotine or no hesitation + edge transit or heart shadow.
yea i made this day 1 of final shape its so much fun to use, instead of needle storm tho you could use song of flame because it gives you all ur melee charges back when it ends its
I been using the Getaway Artist build and for good reason imo, it’s very good. BUT THIS LOOKS SO FREAKING DOPE I CANT WAIT TO TRY IT. Was gonna ask about Song of Radiance but I see the vision with your super choice.
@@itztizzle I figured as much, although I was more looking at how the sever does way more for you in terms of debuffing the ads. Needlestorm does feel like the best fit here
I’ve been thinking about a build like this. I didn’t even think about felwinters. A fun build I thought of would be the class item with necrotic/claws for the poison and +1 melee charge. Might be fun too!
I love the build idea A LOT. The only thing I would change is facet of dawn. You 100% do not need it, (this season at least) since the artifact has the radiant upon orb pick up, and orbs are in abundance anyways. I don't know what I would replace it with, but I am sure there are some pretty good options. Other then that, the build looks really fun and I can't wait to play with it.
I hate MELEE builds, however this one is well-thought and practical. I won't run it, but I will sub. Thank you for putting yourself out there, the community is better for it!
I knew this would get a content creator build video soon enough, I cooked this up before the expac came out but at the end of the day I don't really like close range melee builds, esp on warlock, so I ended up abandoning it after playing around with it for a few days. It's very good though for sure and super fun if you DO like that gameplay! To be honest, I thought that it would work during the new Solar Super too, but it did not unfortunately, anyways just generally and during transcendence with needle storm gives you plenty of melees
Sweet. I used it and was nice. Switched out for necrotic on easy stuff as its so fun especially if you needle something first then lunge in green stuff everywhere
Super cool build! One of my clan mates is a huge Felwinters stan, gonna be sharing this with him for sure! For the raid, did you have a separate leg set with surges that you swapped to for DPS? Or did you find with all the keywords you had going from the build it just got it done?
surges only mattered for second encounter and I swapped to hunter final boss. Just had a scav boot hotswap for first boss and ran surges for damage instead of the orb pickup mods
Man it's so good to see unique, but actually useful builds like these Sadly for the Titan, there aren't many good builds that are actually useful in true endgame shit, besides the consecration spam one; so triggered how we Titans got the short end of the stick
I've found personally that instead of Facet of Dawn or Defiance, Protection can be a pretty good play too. I've swapped Dawn for Protection personally, but Defiance doesn't feel too necessary either when all you're applying is sever on top of the enemies not really shooting back in your proximity, so it kinda feels a little overkill. Protection though is always nice, and can help specifically if there's an add shooting at you away from the crowd you're surging into ( a bit of a niche scenario, but it happens more often than you might think). But what the Hell do I know, I'm not the one doing Day 1 raids
I put this build together last night & I won’t be taking it off for awhile. I went with void grenade due to the seasonal mods & a destabilizing rounds weapon for even more void weaken effects.
Jeeeeeez i just made my own build like this last night lol. I actually ran storm callers brace for a bit with storm caller to get my super back so fast. I changed to the helmet last night to test it out though and i liked the change.
I was gonna unlock prismatic on hunter next, but now it's gonna be warlock. I want to do this build a lot. I'll say for people looking for a really good weapon to pair with this, you can focus fiotura at banshee and it can roll pug+repulsor
One-two finisher only activates if your melee is fully depleted and will only restore 1 of the 3 possible strand melees. I'm sure there is a better use of armor charge than that.
i just picked this build up on onslaught and man i gotta say unless i get killed by those kamikaze mobs im just spamming mele infinitely and it feels like im using some sort of super, changed some aspects to add survivability and also in transcendce this is literal carnage, non stop mele-grenade loop
I prefer your non scripted build videos honestly. I don’t mind if it’s a little longer since prismatic is just a bit more complicated and needs a little more explanation
Glad you like it! I may do more because I have so many awesome builds to share, and this format is far quicker. The problem is I get rambly sometimes or I miss stuff. Like in this video, I forgot to mention expanding abyss makes the debuff go from 30% to 35%. Not the end of the world. But I try to be as thorough as possible, so when I script things, I can read it back so I know I didn't miss anything. And then I also don't repeat myself as much so it is a little more concise. But happy to hear you enjoy this format!
@@itztizzle unless you edited it in I think you actually did mention the 35% debuff versus 30% so you may have actually not forgotten it ha. I’d have to listen back to make sure I’m not thinking of something else or another video. I think clipped in clarifications or additions tossed in once a video or so wouldn’t be an issue for most people. I just like the more natural conversation coverage of things over such rigid formatting that scripts can give off. But that’s probably just me as a minority opinion. But if it means you can get out more videos that should end up being more views and money overall on the long term.
i’ve been using this build since day 1 as well and using song of flame for scorch with finisher aspect. i don’t have friends so i couldn’t try the build in the raid but ggs😮💨
I'm hoping that pairing severance and synthoceps on the exotic class item will prove good for titan with the fi isher fragment. I use to love pairing it with cessation on void titan lol
I was running something similar but instead of felwinters i was running the new strand chestpiece, thought it was good but not crazy. I wish i had thought of this, def have to try it. I think multiple heavy handed mods is really good for this build just because it increases orb uptime by so much. Also, the new forebearance/any brave weapon has that origin trait that gives 5% melee ability energy per kill, which goes so hard.
I added travelers chosen with osmosis, 2 strand surges, time dilation, harmonic scavenger for heavy. So primary exotic weapon turning into strand, strand weapon make Tangles somehow... shooting on Tangles give big boom. Pretty good for ad clear 😘
this a a really nice biuld and gets away from all the turret spam builds. may i recomend final warning (or monte carlo , though i havnt tried mente yet) for this. goes well with facet of bravery and evens out the kills a bit more to get transcendace faster so you dont need facet of sacrifice.
I used this build after watching your 2nd encounter using the Glaive and we beat it. After contest, used Necrotic and it's absolutely nutty in low/mid content.
@ajsultani1636 , karnstein can also work really well with this. Glaive melee kills give you resto for 8 seconds and cure on each kill with no cooldown. Your melee ability kills will give it aswell. Finishers will give resto x2 for 8 sec and cure. And the first fragment facet of defiance in this video, will work perfectly in combination. You can skip devour when using this, and go for de solar turret or bleakwatcher. With fellwinter, i would keep devour though.
Great build but I don’t think the helmet suppresses targets. You were getting the overload stunned though the jolt of the meele aspect. Otherwise great stuff
What craft do you think you'll go for on The Call? i crafted a similar LFG and O4A which i think is probably gona be top tier for most content, the buff from OFA seems way more useful than Vorp, and the ammo from LFG way more useful to run it like a primary compared to something like Slice
I'll have to bookmark this for when I do get the chance to run the raid on my warlock. Also, if you don't mind me asking, what did you use for the final encounter with the Witness? Looking to find something for that encounter that can keep up with the absurd DPS a Celestial Nighthawk Hunter with Still Hunt puts out.
still hunt still but not as strong as hunter. Swapped to hunter for contest mode but don't need to be nearly as optimized after contest. So just song of flame or well of radiance warlock

I tested it and it didn't work with the super :(
@@itztizzle I figured as much, although I was more looking at how the sever does way more for you in terms of debuffing the ads. Needlestorm does feel like the best fit here
During day 1 I ran Mataiodoxia, its honestly insane how good it was.
Loving my mataiodoxia build ive put
Together
What did you make it into, I've had a feeling that it's just a worse suspend build for lock :/
Thanks for the build finally I can play a good looking Bloodborne Warlock while being strong
Ggs, this build is really good and congratulations on contest clear🙂
we didn't clear. Just got to final boss and ran out of time. But the build got me through the raid to the end. Is what I mean in the title
@@itztizzle Still impressive considering how hard that raid looked on contest mode
@@thonorderud for sure. Had we gotten some sleep instead, I think we would’ve beaten the witness. Hindsight 20/20. We still played well!
Love that intro lol everyone would be yelling if they completed a encounter on day 1 raid especially this hard ass raid😂
I’ve been thinking about a build like this. I didn’t even think about felwinters. A fun build I thought of would be the class item with necrotic/claws for the poison and +1 melee charge. Might be fun too!
This is my favorite build and also arrived at it through trying different exotics and people are missing out with prismatic and felwinters
Ill have to try this getting bored of getaway artist as of people commented we all need something different
Any suggestions for melee+slide "key binding" for PS5?
Super cool build! One of my clan mates is a huge Felwinters stan, gonna be sharing this with him for sure! For the raid, did you have a separate leg set with surges that you swapped to for DPS? Or did you find with all the keywords you had going from the build it just got it done?
surges only mattered for second encounter and I swapped to hunter final boss. Just had a scav boot hotswap for first boss and ran surges for damage instead of the orb pickup mods
The titan version of this with the new arms is nuts as well.
Thanks man almost had to build something myself and use my brain
Was using Felwinters with strand a LOT before FS and I made this exact build immediately. Knew it would slap
Man it's so good to see unique, but actually useful builds like these
Sadly for the Titan, there aren't many good builds that are actually useful in true endgame shit, besides the consecration spam one; so triggered how we Titans got the short end of the stick
Felwinters Ionic Surge was actually the first thing i made on Prislock as well, im curious to see it probably more optimized than what i made
Great minds think alike this is the first build I thought of when I saw Lightning Surge on Prism
I put this build together last night & I won’t be taking it off for awhile. I went with void grenade due to the seasonal mods & a destabilizing rounds weapon for even more void weaken effects.
nice! Yeah it is such a fun build!
Awesome video,, homie. Felwinters helm is my shit
Can’t wait to try this since I have the helm but couldn’t find a good build for this. I’m sure this build is gonna be really good
One-two finisher only activates if your melee is fully depleted and will only restore 1 of the 3 possible strand melees. I'm sure there is a better use of armor charge than that.
Had a similar build with osmiomancy gloves for infinite freeze nades, but this is on another lvl.
i just picked this build up on onslaught and man i gotta say unless i get killed by those kamikaze mobs im just spamming mele infinitely and it feels like im using some sort of super, changed some aspects to add survivability and also in transcendce this is literal carnage, non stop mele-grenade loop
I love the build! Also, just wondering if you ran it with winter’s guile instead of
Great Build
Which build have you played on the last boss?
Nice build!👍
16:08 how to get the overshields? Is it a mod?
What’s the third 100 stat you would go for ? Love the build btw
i’ve been using this build since day 1 as well and using song of flame for scorch with finisher aspect. i don’t have friends so i couldn’t try the build in the raid but ggs😮💨
I'm hoping that pairing severance and synthoceps on the exotic class item will prove good for titan with the fi isher fragment. I use to love pairing it with cessation on void titan lol
That watlock arc melee is crazy
I use this exact same build except with Karnstein armlets. Survivability is actually crazy.
It goes really well with traveler's chosen ❤
Pretty good for ad clear 😘
strand and kinetic make tangles from one of the artifact mods. Makes an elemental pickup matching your super on prismatic
this a a really nice biuld and gets away from all the turret spam builds. may i recomend final warning (or monte carlo , though i havnt tried mente yet) for this. goes well with facet of bravery and evens out the kills a bit more to get transcendace faster so you dont need facet of sacrifice.
The amount of synergies here is crazy
Right!? That's my favorite!
I used this build after watching your 2nd encounter using the Glaive and we beat it. After contest, used Necrotic and it's absolutely nutty in low/mid content.
yep pairs great with necrotic too! I have just always wanted to make a felwinter's helm build so here it is haha
Pretty sure anything in low/mid content will be nutty because it's low/mid content
@@rebcommando587 - You clearly haven’t played with the average blueberry.
Otherwise great stuff
ahhh. Well it def disorients because you can see enemies with a void debuff walking around in a dazed state. Figured that was suppression
Awesome build, what roll do you think we should aim when class item release today ?
don't remember the combos and what they do. So not sure. If you have a link that says what everything does, please share it
@@itztizzle I think : in most light + synthoceps or claw can be good (claw especially because i didnt save strenght gears to get that 100+)
What craft do you think you'll go for on The Call? i crafted a similar LFG and O4A which i think is probably gona be top tier for most content, the buff from OFA seems way more useful than Vorp, and the ammo from LFG way more useful to run it like a primary compared to something like Slice
@@itztizzle Interesting. Even after they nerfed Well into the dirt?
Well was still used by at least a handful of teams on contest mode day one. That said, my non professional opinion would be to switch to Song.
@@Twizzybeatzz And run getaway artist with that I suppose? Big thing in any raid is staying alive and that build allows you to play pretty safe
A build I can copy to a t because I have no personality and can’t build for shit. Thank you random UA-camr man
Damn this looks so fun!
