This is the best training I have had in a long time. Can’t wait to try it in the morning round. The grip and hip keeps me connected and the swing feels effortless. Dragging the club from behind reminds me of where I should be at during impact. Thank you for the excellent lesson.
"Knock-down" mentality...DING! DiNG DING! That bell going off is from about a year ago when I messed around with the idea that "every swing [off the ground] was a 'big chip shot'". It worked on the mat[1], into a net but I didn't trust it. Hearing you say [essentially] the same thing - I can't wait to give this idea another go. The techniques you describe are great but, to me, it's the 'intention' - knock-down mentality - that may be the 'glue' that holds it together. As the clubs get longer the more I tend to 'flail' with the entire package. Thanks dude. [1] I'm pretty good a telling where the ball went without seeing it by now; I have 3 basic contacts: BIG pull left with a dash of hook; weak swipe right; flush. But I digress.
45 years old. 60 days since I started playing golf. Found your videos. I'm crushing it!!!!! Thanks sooo much. Would be awesome to get a lesson some time. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Hands down the toughest thing for me to get right in my swing. Going to try this tomorrow morning. I really like how simple this is. Let’s see how it goes!
Great easy to feel lesson. My Club head was overtaking my hands . It has improved impact and face control. Easy to repeat. My clubs now all go a further 10/20 yards. Landed at the back or over most of the greens after these drills. Thankyou from the land down under.
Has a bazillion lessons and tried it all but for whatever reason this video and the rehearsal tips and drills literally changed my contact and movement. Less back pain and more importantly a smile on my face. Thankyou Coach
I've only had 1 lesson with Adam so far, but my 1 hour with him (he fixed my issue in 10 minutes), has led to so far a 5 stroke improvement in my game. Got another lesson in a month!
Thanks Adam, I just got home from the range and find this gem. Now I got to go back to the range soon and try this lesson out. The driving range owner should be paying you or showing your videos on a big screen.
I will just use this preset drill to play for awhile, it is very consistent and the ball is well compressed. Not gonna lose distance at all. Thanks Adam!
The drill you have him doing rehearsing the shaft lean position is what the old PGA tour player Charlie Sifford did before every full shot. He would rehearse that move at address, then actually do it on the intended shot.
I started playing golf in the early 90's and maybe have had two professional lessons. I never knew why I couldn't understand the golf swing and figured I'd just retire as a senior "hacker". I saw your video on UA-cam and for some reason everything you said made sense to me. I started doing the drills on this video and really believe that it will lead me to finally understanding my golf swing. Thanks so much for bringing your golf instruction theories to those of us still searching...
That’s great to hear Mark! This is exactly why we do what we do to help influence as many golfers as we can and help them play the best golf of their lives!
Just saw Travis finish on the 18th, very solid , low amateur ,great achievement ,well l done and congratulations. Must have been great to play alongside some great players this week and Brooks today .Hope Travis has a successful career as he starts out in the professional ranks .
Hi Adam ,I turned on the tv to sky sports over here in Ireland to watch the us open final day and I'm pretty sure I saw you caddying for Travis Vick , Was that you ? Travis is playing really good golf even when he gets out of position ye look like a great team . Hope ye enjoy the experience and that Travis has a great career in front of him .Love the videos and keep up the good work .
Love your consistent emphasis on staying connected! I am grinding, but fight being much too armsy in the backswing. I understand the need to turn the chest, but struggle to implement. Can you suggest feels that will help me to turn the chest other than by pulling it with the trail arm? Thanks. Keep the great content coming!
Oh there’s your problem Ted! Use your lead shoulder to push your lead arm down the line of your feet that will really help your body turn. The trail arm is a disconnector in the backswing and does not require the body to turn in order to move the club to the top.
Another option is once you're in a good setup, think..pull your right scapula/back of right shoulder to your spine. This will rotate your chest/ribcage around your spine. Pulling is more efficient and natural than pushing in the golf swing, same in baseball or tennis.
Great video! Question, sounds like knuckle point down at impact - where should knuckles point just after impact through shaft parallel in the follow thru? Thanks you!!!!
I’m new to your channel but I’m loving the instruction! Tried the #1 drill but I’m hitting the ground 6 to 8 inches in front of the ball. Do I move my sternum back or what? I think I’m holding my head still?! Thanks for your help!
I like what you said about heel to heel : What do you think about starting your swing going to a 3count with the first count having your forward hand flattening and then the backswing being the 2 nd count and then the forward swing being the 3rd count .
Only 4.50 the 2 hands makes a, then huge, difference for me. But it also hooks the ball off the planet and needs much more CH speed than I seem to be able to generate to get a ball flight worth that name. Any suggestions?
With the longer clubs full swing using a knockdown mentality, I struggle with proper timing of the release. I have a two way miss with this. Late right or early left. Any ideas?
@@PorzakGolf Will do. Here is another easiest way to maintain tempo. Some times after reviewing my videos I notice my arms move faster than my hips. Keep them coming. This has to be the greatest most detailed channel to date. Thank you!!

Hahaha! We should look into that lol
I am a visual learner. Your finish line visual is gold.
It’s a good one!
Awesome lesson, pro!
Adam, incredible instructional golf video on how to properly get that "awareness" to result in great forward shaft lean! 😎👍
I will just use this preset drill to play for awhile, it is very consistent and the ball is well compressed. Not gonna lose distance at all. Thanks Adam!
It’s a great one!!
Hip and grip together. Great tip. I have been shanking my whole life and this seems to have cured it. Many thanks.

As always enjoy your videos. You are the best. Also enjoyed watching Travis and you at the US Open! Pure class buddy!

Incredible experience!
really great lesson
Porzak bringing the goods as per
That was an amazing video. I have the problem of hooking the ball too much, this will help me tremendously, thank you very very much.
That’s why we are here!
keep them coming coach! 👍👏

Excellent content and drills. I just hope I can get this into my swing. This week I'll be on it
Bring the lesson to the range and practice with the video! Keep grinding out there!

The three count rhythm is essential for the full swing!
I only have one question! How the hell is this excellent content free!!!?
Hahahaha thank you!
Would you use these wrist feelings with driver?
Do you have lesson on getting right shoulder moving down and not around 7:37
Only 4.50 the 2 hands makes a, then huge, difference for me.

Same for driver?
With the longer clubs full swing using a knockdown mentality, I struggle with proper timing of the release. I have a two way miss with this. Late right or early left. Any ideas?
With the longer Clubs you have to be a lot more patient during your transition, better rhythm
Way to caddy! Pretty sure that's you on Vick's bag!
😃
There must be a reason John Daly always warms up with one-armed swings with his left arm.
So now my miss is a a fat shot. Works great most of the time but scary cause I never know when the fat shot is coming.
Is there anything wrong with shaft lean at address?
I notice that his Toes at Address are Not Flared out , they are pointing Straight Forward!?
We favor a square foot unless the player needs a flare for some reason
A😮
I think you meant the grip and the right hip, not the left, moving together! I think you misspoken!
Dude you must of read my past comments. Holy crap. Thank you awesome freaking video!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🏼🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼👊🏼💪🏼
