The monster mash flatbread sounds like a loaded baked potato. I will have to try that!!
Feeling for Ryan here. Like if all you'll eat is the culinary equivalent to chicken nuggets maybe you shouldn't be reviewing food...
LaRosa's, and Skyline are both disgusting. Those are the 2 places I avoid when thinking of food at KI. If those 2 are somehow better at the park than at their respective restaurants, that makes me wonder how they got so popular in the first place!
don is more picky than most toddlers.
@samu-chan I started a list of all his DON'T eat items... but it was taking too long to document it all, so I gave up after about 7 minutes of note-taking!! 😳😂🎉
its funny when don always brags about the ki culinary experience but he won't eat 90% of the food 😂
But what he does eat… he loves.. 😂
@@samu-chan I was thinking the same thing... 😳😂🎉
Agreed having coney bar-b-que and grain and grill international kitchen makes no sense doing none meal plan items. I really thought that had to be a mistake till I got there and asked. I don't think that was very smart at all. When the BBQ place in the water park has wings on the meal plan why couldn't this one be too. So I won't be trying them.
And no looking at it in line wasn't worth opening my wallet.
Got to spend Friday and Saturday at Haunt. Really liked the new haunt zones, and felt they added a bunch of new scare actors. The lantern was a unique addition, but feel like it needs more of a story mode.
Mounds of Meatwich was okay tried first time yesterday. Those chips are not that great to me and worth the calories to eat them. I really wish spots that have that one basic side would at least offer their side salads as an alternative.
Those beignets are amazing!! Get them every year.
KI food offerings have been growing steadily since last year and enjoyed the unique offering they have a different flavor and tastes. The tricks & treats menu items are good offerings but some guests will not be happy as they don’t offer the same portion size for the meal but I was happy with it. I tried the Irishman Eggroll which has a spicy mustard and a good taste of a Reuben without 1000 island dressing. I had the evil twin sisters which was very tasty and delicious of the heat combination on the topping. The Saratoga chips wishing there was more but the meal was filling. My wife enjoyed the melting face grilled cheese and tomato soup which was delicious and flavorful. I am hoping to try the other dining plan options and non dining plan options in the future. The one thing is missed and should be advertised more is the Sweet Spot offerings in the fall as that culinary team makes some wonderful desserts and sweet treats. They need more exposure for the food they produce. So far the food has been great this year and looking forward to trying the Tricks & Treats menu & Sweet Spot desserts
Don’t worry, we are going to talk a lot more about the Sweet Spot.
@@TowerTopicsnot you guys but the park in general. That in my opinion is the best food in the park.
I’m with don here. KI can keep their artisanal egg rolls haha
I am with Don. I am a carnivore not a herbivore.
Ryan is going to feed you some green onion, lol.
Looks amazing this fall!
Thank you Don for being real… I am a picky eater, and some of these sound so good, but then they pack a bunch of weird ingredients in there… thank you for this content! I am super excited for our trip during the first weekend of October!
Live a little. And if not just pick it off or pass don’t ruin it for the rest of us who like wider varieties of flavors and textures. It’s not weird ingredients.
@@leebowitz1987 maybe I should clarify because words do matter. I want adventurous eaters to have options, but I also want those of us who like more basic foods to have quality items. Most of the basic stuff like pizza, chicken, etc. are dry at theme parks. I also have a lot of food intolerances and ingredients that aren’t seen on a regular basis makes me nervous especially when I’m going to be experiencing attractions after. And I do like some different things, I’m tired of the stigma that people who are picky are just difficult. So, I hope I made myself clear.
@@MichaelJacksonlov243I agree there I’ve always enjoyed a La Rosas cheese pizza! There are times where basic options are good enough for me but in those moments you’re right I want quality if I’ve chosen to eat at a theme park regardless of the chosen item it better be good. This time of year I’m super adventurous with food and drink though so I’m pleased with the choices available on the dining plan.
First - great video - love the informational videos! You guys hating everything is hilarious.
SO much i want to try. Look forward to fall and winter.
Went to Cedar point this past weekend - and it makes you appreciate KI food so much more! How are they souch worse?
One ONE of us has a child-like pallet. 🤣
Glad Don isn't in charge of the food items. We would have nothing but burgers and chicken fingers.
Don’t forget pasta (which includes pizza) 😁
Ryan, good to meet you opening night. You held the door for my wife at the coke freestyle by Sol spin, you introduced yourself to my kids as Mr beast and they stared at you like you introduced them to running water which was super funny. Hope you had a good time
Great to meet you as well! Kids would have probably believed the Mr Beast thing if I started off with a live read about Mr Beast Feastables. 😁
I find it hysterical that with all of these creative and new menu offerings, y'all are only excited about a couple items as they are presented!! 😂🤣😅🎉
We really only went in depth with the ones that had photos. I (Ryan) am excited for the items.. Don, on the other hand, has chicken as three of his five food groups. To his credit, he “doesn’t eat seafood” but gave the Shrimp a shot at the French Corner and still raves about it!
are these available before Haunt officially starts on Saturdays?
Yep during Tricks and Treats hours too. The normal food is just during T&T hours while most Sweet Spot stuff is available all day.
