The first time that’s ever been used to actually get the car out of sand
And the last
Both of you highly underrated comments😂
Lol.. came here to say the first and only time it will be used as intended but obviously other people thought the same

you know what would actually help in this situation? CTIS and differential locks - something the old G-class had, but the new SUV's don't
The G Class still has 3 locking diffs. The GLE doesn't serve the same purpose as the G Wagon...
The ml/gle never had diff locks. Doesn't matter old vs new. Old didn't have it either
Maybe some real offroad tires
@@lbgstzockt8493offroad tires in the sand are useless. They dig you even more in.
The best tires for sand are actually balloon tires, which have hardly any thread.

I don’t need that, I jump on the seat and it has the same effect 😂
This Skip function can clearly be renamed to "Party Mode" HAHAHA

I go through this every Monday.
This is a great feature because I get stuck in sand all the time
So theyre making hydraulic suspensions again? Nice, i love it in my 07 s65, obviously this system is way more advanced but the ride quality alone on hydraulic abc is amazing
Doug demouro would be proud to see this

You'd better check your CV Axle Joints before and after.
Everything is fun and games until you get sand mixed in with grease and start driving around.
Otherwise you'll realise pretty quick why they call it sandpaper. And that actual sand does a much better job at that... 🤣🤣🤣
Exactly
Bravo, everyone is cheering, except the owner ... when the dash lights up and they are informed that the transmission, drive shaft, joints, or other suspension parts are trash, not covered by the warranty. When the bearing squealing begins, just turn up the radio, That'll do. 😂
Unless your axle boot is torn, that shouldn’t be a problem. It’s designed to ward off sand, dust, etc.
That's a Mercedes-Benz not some American made junk.
fantastic Mercedes GLE 450! Stunning design, best tecnology, simply the number 1!

Must have car for UK roads.
??? I used to drive over the soft dry sand onto the packed wet sand back around 1962. No problem. I would let air out of the tires until they began to appear a third of the way deflated. Then I'd get a moving start to drive over the soft sand to reach the hard packed sand. Coming back I'd easily go across the soft dry sand and go directly to a gas station to re-inflate the tires to 32 lbs.
Every businessman today has had this secret dream of watching real G's in their 64 Impala on Yo! MTV Raps back in the 90's.
Now the Mercedes is a brand that will make your dreams come true!
Oh yes Pope would love this in purple
You’ll need that feature when they boot your car.
Yea keep doing that and wait until you see the repair bill of the Airmatic. I don’t know how much it costs in EU or US but EACH Airmatic shock absorber costs £4,000 in Thailand!
You don't buy a Mercedes for the affordability
I have this system in my car! Collecting it this friday haha looking forward to trying this out in traffic ^^. haha let's see if I get it stuck in the dunes one day. I actually use the car also for offroading and there will be a day I need it... I guess it will be in the snow. But usally I do not get stuck.
Imagine this car is parked side of the curb and shaking like this.
The bounce is more aggressive in the newer models.
*weekend by jordan burns starts playing*
The fact that I had to look up a video says how much people won't/ don't use it

How lucky that someone caught the ONLY time this feature was made use for...
They need this in Formula one

It sure is "the technology"
Only if it did that when escaping itself out of the repair shop. lol.
Its airmatic suspension did a good performance.

Ok. For that they have this feature 👍 i was confused
Toyota has the crawl self rescue system.
This is called now in 2021 dancing
It took two years to get viral ( I think it went viral because Doug demuro had shown this feature on one of this video's and that is how I got to know this feature )
It went viral because some guy in LA posted a video of 3 maybach suvs bouncing to some 90s rap music and it went viral. Then Mercedes reposted it
If I had a car like that I would both use it to get it unstuck while off-roading and also flexing
Can we adjust the bouncing of the car to the beats of the music played. It's a sincere question.
Has anyone noticed a red rope attached to the roof of the car? It's clear that the car was pulled from the sand by a helicopter.
That’s a flag
Bruh that's a tiny ass rope you think that can withstand that much force ??
This is a receiving antenna and the Merc is R.C.
You can see that the „rope“ has a curve in it, which means, that it‘s not stressed at all. Probably an antenna tho.
I buy a GLE because I always drive in sand dunes. Thanks you so much mercedes
only time the feature has been used for its intended purpose
Wow, mercedes came up with a way to make rich frat boys look like they're actually getting something outside of onlyfans.
I wanna see moms doing this in carpool. 😂👍
And that was the LAST time that feature was used offroad lmao
Nice aerial.
My biggest question, did the bouncing actually help or could it have gotten out without the bouncing?
Yes, deflate the tires a little, dig around them and use floor mats to get traction and momentum to go out. Usually this helps.
It just takes the two of us to make my car bounce
most people (including me) probably wouldn't know its intended purpose without this video
Sisnt know thats what the bang bus looks like
we do that too down here
