I have a small theory that this movie was secretly a satirical comedy. It definitely gives parody vibes. I think the scene that convinced me was when Gretchen( she will always be Gretchen) was surprised the townspeople all just bought homeboy was a snowboy, and one of the townspeople was just like, “ Ofcourse he’s a snowman, it’s Christmas.” That line just had to be ironic. It’s as if the writers were making fun of themselves and I kinda loved it.
