I’ve driven both the Slingshot and Vanderhall and hands down Vanderhall is the better experience. For the price of the T-Rex you could get a new 2020 Corvette
TRex looks nice but way to expensive. The slingshot I’m glad they changed the motor. Also more storage. But the Vanderhaul is way cool. New turbo and the actually listened to there buyers and made one 6 inches wider great selling point.
VANDERHALL IS THE BEST VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY, Classic and fun look, Slingshot is to plasticy and cheap, the T Rex is to expensive for what is is but has the nice dual exhaust, so my pick is VANDERHALL FROM THE CHEAPEST TO THE EXPENSIVE 😎
I got a T-Rex in 2012/13 and after a Slingshot in 2015 and by far the T-Rex is the most fun to drive ! The sitting position is so unique nothing can compare to this on the road! Slinshot is like drive a Miata its a car feeling so not enough feeling! Vanderhall i think they dont sell it in Québec so? But look interesting!
The T-Rex gets smoked by the Vanderhall every time. I'd know. I have a 2022 Venice GTS and none of them ever want the smoke when I see them out on the roads. The T-Rex's and the Slingshots will race eachother, but never mine. It really is a class of it's own..but everyone's taste in styling is different. I just prefer something classy/vintage yet modern and with absolute balls when I ride it.
Slingshot scores points for engineering and fit-and-finish. But it’s big (wider than a Corvette) and the in-your-face styling is polarizing. Volume sales means used unit price points are within reach of more of potential buyers. Vanderhall. More palatable styling, but borders on “plain.” Less sales volumes means there’s not much aftermarket support for customization. (Polaris wins here). Also not sure what to do if it rains. Can the interior get wet? (Polaris can) The big headlights and square intercooler make the Vanderhall front end look like the face of an ‘80’s toy robot. (I can’t un-see it!) T-Rex: the original trike/auto cycle that ever got any press, but where’s all that attention now? Fit and finish seems excellent. The use of a motorcycle-based engine and power train seems outdated, but is is really? (Vanderhall and Polaris “car” engines are really only 1500cc) T-Rex price point seems excessive when compared to the other two. It’s too bad it doesn’t produce more volume to be able to bring the price down. T-Rex is the only one where the rider/driver? Still looks cool wearing a full-face helmet with the hard-top! At my age, I’m thinking Vanderhall.
Very much valid and valuable points here... Thank you for taking the time to write this. I appreciate it 👍🏼. Vanderhall would definitely be a good pick.
The only thing the Vanderhall needs is a true manual transmission. Clutch manuals involve all four limbs in the coordinated dance that makes driving feel like driving. Vanderhall says the demand isn't there, but I think Slingshot enthusiasts (and even T-Rex people) might give the Vanderhall a second look if the manual were available.
I definitely know I want one of these once I start pulling in the big change. not a fan of the new look of the T-Rex though. But heck, I like the look of the slingshot, excluding the fact that it doesn't have a roof or atleast the bars covering it.
I recently purchased the 2022 Slingshot SL. I was on the fence between the Vanderhall and the Slingshot. At a height of 6'2 with a wife that is 5'9 we liked the Vanderhall but the inside space is too small. We have friends with Vanderhall's and the size is perfect for them.
Yeah they all definitely have there benifits one way or another. If the space factor wasn't a issue it seems like you would have gotten that vanderhall... That's the great thing about all these choices tho... something for everyone. Ride safe brotha 👍👍
Vanderhall doesn’t come with a manual trans, T-Rex is way too out of reach price wise for most people. Best option is to get a 2015-2019 Slingshot with the 2.4l ecotec for around $25k and throw an extra $5k at it to put a supercharger on it and it will easily keep up with the T-Rex. The new Polaris engine seems doody and they are switching to auto trans unless you fork over big $$ for the R model. Great video tho!!
Not sure if it'll be that easy but very Valid point. It's gonna be interesting to see how the new polaris will perform next to the older ones, Stock or modified. Thank you I appreciate it for sure! 💪🏼👍🏽
I’ve got a T Rex, but fully agree that they are overpriced. With that said, I’ve driven all three and nothing really compares to the experience of the Campagna. It is just so raw, but in a good way, that leaves a smile on your face. I love the look of the Vanderhall, I just wish they offered a true manual. The T Rex can beat you up a bit, so I think the Vanderhall would be the more comfortable/suitable as a cruiser. I’ve not driven the new Polaris powertrain, but if it is a solid performer, paired with a true manual might make the Slingshot a win here. Less exclusivity, but what is your goal? Fun or attention? Neither is wrong, but the fun/smile factor is far easier to justify financially. Net, can’t go wrong here. Whichever you choose/are able to swing, enjoy the hell out of it!
What's faster the vanderhall or trex I understand trex has a little more power but less torque and rear wheel drive. Vanderhall has a tad more torque and less hp but is fwd. Which one is faster I cant seem to find a race video anywhere
I would think the Trex Is faster with those numbers. Power to weight ratio etc. Hooking up will be a little harder for the Trex vs the Vanderhall (fwd) but It would definitely be a entertaining race. If I am ever able to put that video together for you guys, I definitely will 👍🏼👌🏼🏁💪🏼
That's very true. I definitely lobe my rex tho. I've owned mine before slingshots came out... wasn't to fond of them at first but I do like seeing how far they take there creativity with the customization market.
For speed and just straight up madness you can't beat the T-rex.The others are better price wise but then if you go that route there will always be the chance that you will run into a T-Rex on the road and get creamed.
T-REx but Im biased, I owned one and nothing is more fun to drive. Whoever dreamed up the new headlight abomination needs to be fired for ruining a beautiful machine.
Hard to see it from a non-bias view as a owner but think this video gave a great perspective. Im very much team Rex but love seeing info and specs on them all. Still not into the headlight bezel but it makes up for it plenty with performance.
Well I guess it could be looked at that way but when you really think about it, Campagna motors efforts where very much ahead of there time over 30yrs ago. You can argue that not much has changed thruout the years of there design but they are very much a staple for one of the most innovative Reverse trikes ever created. I do feel exactly how you could see it that way tho.
Man she confused me when she said bags are optional shit keep the carbon fiber fender and give me my bags. Then she said 72k juist give me a older 1 and I am good O and keep you mirror lol.
Vanderhall. Built really well and completely worth the money for long term ownership.
👍🏼👍🏼definitely a good build.
I’ve driven both the Slingshot and Vanderhall and hands down Vanderhall is the better experience. For the price of the T-Rex you could get a new 2020 Corvette
Nice... So your choice would be a Vanderhall?
That could also be worded for the price of a new Corvette, you could get a T-Rex. I'm gonna guess the T-Rex offers more visceral fun.
T rex looks fun and can be... but pales in comparison to the performance of a Vanderhall. Vanderhall is the Rolls Royce of the Autocycles.
Agreed but they are definitely ugly and the slingshot is more visually attractive
Vanderhall have that classic look, slingshot looks to robotic , and the t rex to damm expensive for what it is .
Yeah but I will say I like that classic look of the vanderhall and price point isn't to bad either. Very true assessment of all 3 💪🏼. Thank you.
I think they all have their place and function. If you have $20k get a sling, $30k get a van and $60k get a trex. I got a trex lol 😎
Very practical and Valid answer. I agree and I'm with you on the rex lol 😉😎👑
Cant wait til my hubby & I get the slingshots. We are in love with them!!
They are all great toys. I'm sure you guys will enjoy. There's nothing like these things.

Great summary/assessment of the 3. I appreciate it. Definitely alot to consider when deciding on one of these things.
I bought the 2021 T-Rex with the Kawasaki ZX14 engine. Fell in love in the first sight and first ride😍
Well welcome to the Family brotha... congrats and I'm sure I'm we'll link soon if your at any of these events.
Vanderhall is the best of both worlds between T-Rex and Slingshot
That can be looked at as true and not true but definitely a great choice
VANDERHALL IS THE BEST VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY, Classic and fun look, Slingshot is to plasticy and cheap, the T Rex is to expensive for what is is but has the nice dual exhaust, so my pick is VANDERHALL FROM THE CHEAPEST TO THE EXPENSIVE 😎
Great choice. Vanderhall is definitely a nice option.
@Jose Luis Who has driven neither?
@Jose Luis why was the Vanderhall #3? Are you going strictly off speed?
I got a T-Rex in 2012/13 and after a Slingshot in 2015 and by far the T-Rex is the most fun to drive
! The sitting position is so unique nothing can compare to this on the road! Slinshot is like drive a Miata its a car feeling so not enough feeling! Vanderhall i think they dont sell it in Québec so? But look interesting!

T-Rex of course!!!!! Lol. Can you do a new impressions video since now you have seen the RR in person? Thanks in advance.
Yes I can. Will also be uploading a video of other owners reactions after seeing it in person. Thank you, I truly appreciate the support. Stay tuned.
Gotta Go With The T-Rex Hands Down The King Of The Trikes.
Pretty much sums it up... the Rex is arguably in a league of its own from certain aspects.
At $62K? VanderHall Venice is 200HP & $29K!
The T-Rex gets smoked by the Vanderhall every time. I'd know. I have a 2022 Venice GTS and none of them ever want the smoke when I see them out on the roads. I can definitely how this can be true. Makes the most sense in most cases
Nice! Very informative ... I’ll take one of each please 😜 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you. I appreciate it! One of each for Me too! Lol 😊😊
I got the Sling. Great looks and plenty of room.
Thats wats up... Nothing wrong with that. They have really been making alot of noise in the industry

Campagna T-Rex all day long. Just wish the pricing was more competitive.

What up Sino? **** (3) The T - Rex all day long....😎🕶•°•°•°•°

T-rex for artistic design, Vander hall best quality classic and slingshot transformer car.
That pretty much sums it up. I like that 👍🏼
Vanderhaul hands down looks good

I agree.
I like the slingshot the best!
Good choice as well! 👍🏼
Does the Campagna T-Rex RR sit lower than the Vanderhall or Slingshot? Or is it about the same?
From what I've seen yes... And it sits much lower then the slingshot
@@RoadKingSino Awesome. Thanks for the response. The Vanderhall is reeling me in but, I have to do more research on the specs.
