I have the same on my rex as well. Sounds good through town but gets loud on long rides. Opened mine up with some tuning and feels a lot better.
For sure. Those exhaust where ahead of there time back then and a perfect upgrade on these. Tuning mine now and it's feeling better and better. I'm diggin the sound so far. I had some open exhaust pipes at one point and them things where beyond loud 😂🤣.
I too was a invisible. Then I scored this 2005 Honda Civic. We're talking cherry. Sawed off the exhaust.
Now I'm cruising the hood in this insanely loud supercar - brutal. The ladies are taking notice. sick

It's really no golden year in my opinion... I do prefer the 14 motor over other motors but that's just my prefernce. Id just say if you don't purchase it new make sure it's a well taken care of used unit.

They are still around as a add on kit option from what I would imagine but just guessing people don't buy many due to the rarity, price and possibly just not knowing. I've seen a few out there tho 👍🏼
Two looks better, it’s not a motorcycle.
The Muzzy is good in my book. Definitely performs better then the Slip-ons. I do understand your thinking tho, that's actually why I had those on there for so long.
