I have a four month old Maltese puppy. I got all the clippers and scissors you mentioned in another video. She is wiggly. The first time, she squirmed, freaked out, and looked like she was cut with a weed whacker. But the second time, she looks much better. Thanks for the instruction. I can do this!

Just searched & found you! Hallelujah!! My Maltese has been to the groomer 1 time & when I picked him up he looked worse than when I too him in. He was 4 months old. Very energetic & wild. I am trying to learn how to groom him myself. Thank you for sharing your experience!!

Thank you so much for teaching me how to groom my fur babies. Got my tools and recently a grooming table and have learned so much from watching your videos. My girls, Mimi, a toy poodle and Bebe, a shih tzu are learning to trust me, they had the same groomer for 7 yrs. and now me. Having the right tools really helps. Thanks so much for ALL your tips. We can do this😍

Hi my name is carrie. I love your videos. I’ve done human hair for 30 years and retired in Az at 45. With covid I can’t fly home to my clients, but I did always pet sit it for them and do the ABC training program. So my pet sitter inspired me to look into grooming. I have a ride alone this week with a local groomer and your videos are so inspiring and helpful. Thank you...

(This is P’s wife.)Thank you soooo much for your videos. We have 4 large dogs (1 Golden Retriever and 3 Labradors) Yesterday was their at home spa day (we bought the table, shampoos, conditioners, etc. that you recommended. Haven’t yet purchased the dryer, clippers, or scissors. I expect to get, in time.) Everything was exactly as you said, but I missed your face washing video until this morning. that seemed to be hardest. Also I’m going to use my exfoliating gloves versus the puff to see if that helps more. BEST to you!

I just found your page and I love it! I have a new rescue pup (have had him 6 mo) terrier poodle mix; white with tan markings and he hates water and is afraid of grooming. I think he hates it because maybe the first bath he ever had was at the shelter and it was a flea bath, no fun. My first mission with him was to get him up to a normal weight (he was terribly malnourished when I got him and was skin and bones). He's healthy now and is of a normal weight for his mix. I'm touching him with the brush everyday now to get him use to it, though I usually only do it while we are having our after walk cuddle session because I want his association to be positive. And next I have to figure out how to get him use to being in water. He had an ear infection recently and the ointment made his ear hair really dirty so I was able to wash it and trim it last week but it took some work and help from a friend. I also just bought my first clippers to groom with by HolDog. Do you know anything about this brand? It came with 4 combs though I still need to read directions to make sure I understand. He is finally warming up to my scissors and to the slicker brush but he won't let me touch his belly yet (that is where the little dreadlocks are forming!). I've gone to the groomer once which was hard on him but they are willing to work with him though he cries like he is being tortured when the water touches him. It was suggested to me by my vet to wash him every month (ha!) because he has allergies. I may start trying to bathe him at one of the local pet wash stations but I wanted him to get use to me brushing and trimming first. I'm watching so many videos right now! lol. Thank you so much for your expertise. My goal is to be able to groom and bathe occasionally in between pro groomings. How do you work with traumatized sweet young dogs? Any suggestions or do you have videos that touch any of these subjects? Stay safe and healthy out there!

Thank you so much for your helpful videos. My baby has me so well-trained that I can't subject her to the anxiety of taking her to a professional groomer so guess who does all of that? My Maltese mix's hair is so fine it's very difficult to get it to stand up through the clipper comb. I am thinking that a vacuum clipper might help but I don't know which are good. I hate to just take my chances buying something without a recommendation. What kind of clippers are you using with vacuum attachment?

Thank you for the video. I groom my 2 maltese at home since puppies. I do leave a top knot for both my male and female. I like the Korea cut netter during summer. My major challenge is the face. They have long ears, top knot, and I like the face short but I cannot do a clean cut on the face, and around the face. It's always gets uneven, and the hair always stick to their eyes.

I love that you're willing to help those who want to keep their dogs groomed. I love your videos. I have a 2.4lb yorkie. I need help with his face ears and paws. I want a pair of great blending shears. I have spent some money on a few clippers. He's very sensitive to noise and heating of the clippers. Please help me help him. Thank you!!!

Alright, it looks like it is pretty much what I thought and how I was going to approach it.
Going to try and cut my dogs hair tomorrow when the shears arrive.
    Wish me luck.
