That grey cowling on the NC is made from the most dirt/bug/grime attractant ever. It gets dirty after 35 seconds of use and is virtually impossible to keep clean! Well done for hiding it!

Paint? It’s still perfect. Which is a bit surprising given it cops road crap from the front wheel. I think the plastic etch primer is the key to success.
I thought about this all weekend while doing maintenance on my NC, and then i find this, you did a great job Sir, i don't like the grey either, i will do something similar, thanks for the idea! ;-)
another cracking and informative video thanks.unfortunately someone knocked me off my nc700 several weeks ago and so it has been scrapped but hopefully will be buying a nc750 in the coming months before biking season starts here in scotland.

I'm not an expert, but according to my abacus calculations you should have done this and that to compensate for fluid dynamics, Newton's laws of motion and other physics problems which I'm certified as professionally unaware of. In comparison to the grill I never made, and through a layman's viewpoint it looks better than nice, so at the least you have that going for you!
God 'ol Sikaflex, get a tiny dob on you hand and it'll transfer to the door handle, to you wife's hand on onto the white leather sofa etc. I seem to remember it cleans up with a dilute alcohol cleaner, though I can't remember if it was ethanol or isopropyl alcohol.
Great job!
Pretty sure you were a Blacksmith in one of your past lifetimes. Great video and thanks for teaching us these simple pleasures.
Thanks mate.
I painted mine black some years ago, and it probably needs a repaint now. But I never thought of adding a grill. That looks amazing!

I never thought about this before but Honda should have made it this way in the first place.
Excellent idea, well implemented 👍
Looks great. It should have come that way. Your skills far exceed mine. Please keep your videos coming.
Agree. It’s always looked a bit unfinished.
That looks "The Bollocks" (English expression of appreciation) Excellent Job!
I thought bollocks was an insult. I like the grill and the paint job.
Ha! It’s all in the context. “It’s the dogs bollocks” is saying it’s great.

Ha! Agree. Particularly the last few months with all the rain we are having. Council seem to have abandoned any pretence of repairing the roads.
Another great job, I love watching and learning from your mods. Ride safe.
Bravo...thanks for giving me another project for my NC700....That mod looks great!
thank you for always sharing the transformation with us
Good job ! Have toyed with the idea of some kind of grille to block out the ugly rusting exhaust. You have nailed it !
Wow!! Another great job 👏👍 I just subscribed. I see this video is a year old, how did the black paint hold up on the plastic??

Sorry to hear mate. Glad you are well enough to continue riding.
Good job. Have used a product called Plasti dip spray paint. Works well on plastic panels. Easy to do touch ups when it needs it.
Ok. Thanks for the tip. Will have to try that.
Nicely done. Hooray for peer pressure!
Ha! Yes. Gets me every time.
Well, that only looks bloody brilliant mate !! It's what Honda should have done to start with.
Thanks. Yep agree.
I've always wondered about the odd shape of that "tube" between the flange and the catalytic converter. Why isn't that a nice pice of round bent tube?
That looks pretty good
Great job Adrian that looks awesome
Big improvement
I see that Ryobi kit is a popular down your way as it is in UK
Yes. It’s reasonable quality for handyman use.
If you use a rubberised paint for underneath or radiator paint it should hold up
I like it. I'll have a go when the seasons over.
Dobrá práce, už jsem to na své taky udělal.
Great job. It looks GREAT! (please don't use acetone on your bare hands, folks)
Ha! Wondering who would be first. Congratulations.
Great Job! Looks like I have a new project, thanks for sharing 👍
Nice video and work. How is the paint holding?
Still perfect. The plastic etch primer is the secrete.
so much better , nice job.
Good job! It looks so much better 👍
That looks very good 👍🏍
Very good job mate! Well done!
Off topic, I have just upgraded rear shock with a YSS on your recommendation. But is the front fork upgrade worth it ? Cheers Cobber
Front upgrade worth it? For me it was. The PD valves made the most difference.
But if you are happy with your current setup then don’t upgrade.
Does anyone know of a video showing removal of all fairings/panels on a 2021 NC750X DCT
Very good and nice job....
Looks great 👍👏 I will think about this solution 😎 thank you for sharing 👏
You did a great job thank you
Well done another great video

What is the name of the black glue? Do you have a link to product
Sikaflex can be bought almost anywhere here in Oz. It’s a very common product. Google it to find where you can buy it locally.
If you wax bit or some kind of protection the paint should wash clean
I wonder if the metal there will heat up and damage the plastic?
Done a few thousand KM since this mod and all still fine 🤗
Looks good good idea
How much would you charge to do this for people interested? I’m ready to become a customer 😃👍
Ha! Thanks for the vote of confidence.
But sorry. This was a one-off.
I used black Sikaflex. This is a brand of silicone that is super adhesive and strong but still remains slightly flexible.
Well done 😎
Is the material aluminum?
Yes. Aluminium.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Ha! Well said.
I thought that whole was for extra cooling , I’m probably wrong 😊
that what i was saying lol maybe under coating or bedliner spray for skid plate
Looks great. Make me one....please!!
Ha! If I made you one, everyone would think I’m a good bloke - which I’m not.
What is ur forme called
Sorry. Don’t understand the question.
what was it that you used to glue the grill on ?
Sikaflex. But I think any type of silicone would do the job.
Sabes donde puedo conseguir una mascarilla x qur la mía se me daño en un huevo
No I don’t. Sorry.

Yes. It’s nasty stuff when it gets in the wrong places.
Nice tutorial, I want to do it too…Anyway, you would better wear gloves to work with dangerous tools- And I'm certain you forgot the mask too ;-)
Thanks for the advice. No. Didn’t forget. It’s danger in life that makes it fun 🤪
10X Better!
I should stop watching your videos because I cant find time to ride rather than trying to do your projects to my NC 😃
Ha! That’s pretty sad. But thanks 😁
ooooh, cosmetics...once you start, you can't stop. And that bashplate is begging for attention ha ha ha!
Yep. I need to at least clean and polish it 🤗
